This property was not clean and needs repairs before renting out again. The stairs are torn apart and very dangerous to go up and down stairs. Hairs everywhere including our beds and showers. No Iron. No small towels. Backyard not clean at all, we had to clean the back yard, seating area patio cushions very dirty and had ant nest under pillows, light by pool not working, pool needs to be drained and concrete pressured washed because bottom of pool and steps is black. Most of these complaints are on the last few reviews and we thought they would improve the situation but they didn't. We addressed these issues with them and only received a sorry. Plus they gave me a hard time on getting an item I left at the property. It took a week to get it back. I will not be staying at this location or any location by Birdy Vacation Rentals.

The beds were nice. The pool was nice. That is all that was accurate about the VRBO listing. The overall place was dirty, there were live and dead roaches, the stairs are in shabby repair inside the house and very easily you could trip, the cabinets and floors were dirty, the dryer vent was disconnected and blowing heat and lent everywhere, and the downstairs air conditioner did not work. There was trash outside in the bushes and the umbrella by the pool was held in place by broken bricks. I contacted them ahead of time about another poor review and they told me everything had been fixed. Very disappointing!

The air conditioning was not working. Very hot weather. Manager of property did not react to fix the problem. We were told to get hotel rooms. We did not stay at this rental house. I am waiting on a full refund.

Property listing showed beautiful photos however in person it wasn’t quite what we were expecting. House is nice but could use some updating and care. Outside temperatures were quite warm and the air conditioning could not keep up so it warm hot day and night. However my biggest complaint was the cleanliness (or lack there of). Upon check in two of the 3 showers had large hair balls laying on the drains that I personally removed and cleaned. The pool house was the least cleaned, with the bathroom being the worst. Mirrors and faucets had toothpaste splatter on them. It was very obvious that whoever was responsible for cleaning the property did not care. In addition I paid $50 for an early check in of 1:00. We got to the property at about 2:30-3:00 and the kids immediately jumped in the pool. However at 3:30 they had to get out because the pool maintenance guy came and added chemicals to the pool. Not complaining that he was there to do his job, just saying that it should have been done before check in. Location of the home was good. Nice quiet neighborhood near the airport. That being said there is a good bit of plane noise all hours of the day / night. Overall the stay could have been worse but it most definitely could have been better. The lack of cleanliness was a big disappointment.

Let’s start with the good. The property was very spacious. We had 10 adults in our party and had plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable. The property was in a fantastic location. The kitchen had everything we needed. The pool was nice and the pool house was perfect for our single, adult children. The water heater did great, providing enough hot water for everyone to shower. Upon arriving, there were several bugs (dead and alive) throughout the house. We found wet wood and cardboard by the garage entrance, which attracted more bugs. We purchased our own bug spray to treat the house. The pool had not been attended to. We cleaned the pool and bought supplies ourselves to have ready to enjoy. An attendant must have stopped by sometime during the trip while we were out because we found 9 chlorine tablets in the skimmer. 9! Several electrical outlets throughout the house did not work. The air conditioner for upstairs went out towards the latter part of our trip. I called and requested assistance but never heard back from anyone. Thankfully the unit for downstairs worked which meant several of us had to sleep downstairs in order to be comfortable.The propane tank was close to empty, which meant we had to replace it ourselves in order to use the grill. Overall it wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great either. It could have been fantastic if property management communicated and invested in a few things to make guests more comfortable.

Let’s start with the good - the house was in a good location and felt safe. Loved the idea of a bunk house. The bedrooms in the main house were all upstairs and there was a door to them so you didn’t hear a lot of the downstairs noise. Overall the house was pretty run down, dirty and smells musty. 2 of the 4 beds upstairs were broken down and we had to bring the twin mattresses in from the bunk house to sleep on the floor. The door frames and laundry cabinets had grime all over them. The windows were filthy (one in the bunk house was broke) and the dishes that were out in the air had to all be washed before they could be used. We found two cockroaches and spiders in the house. The ice maker didn’t work. The washer only worked on quick wash and the dryer never turns off. The stairs had laminate flooring on them and were missing some of the edge coverings and were loose. We came in on a Saturday, the weather was beautiful but unfortunately the pool was full of leaves and not usable. There was no pool net. There were leaves all over the patio and the yard had weeds two feet high. It looked like it hadn’t been mowed at all for the year. There was a lot of trash in the yard (old pool toys and inflatables) and the garage was full of trash as well. We messaged Birdy Properties and they said the pool was just serviced 2 days ago and there was a pool net beside the pool. There wasn’t. The next day still no news from the pool tech or follow up from the property manager beyond the pool tech doesn’t come out on the weekends. We spent an hour cleaning up the patio and bought a pool net to clean it ourselves as the rest of the week was going to be cloudy and in the 60’s. About 2 hours after we finished cleaning up the pool a tech came out. Day 3 - getting ready to make breakfast and the kitchen had flooded from the shower above it! We call the property company and we’re told oh yeah that happens. You need to put a towel between the shower and the toilet. We get the kitchen cleaned up and start to cook breakfast and the electricity goes out!! We find the breaker box and flip it, thinking we blew a fuse with everyone getting around and turning on the stove. Nothing happened so we called again. They are researching it and it does seem like there was an outage in the area and it comes back on in around 15 minutes. They sent out a maintenance guy to check the breakers and the kitchen ceiling. He looks around and leaves. Later that afternoo
