This house is amazing. It is literally up a mountain and you can see the clouds pass you by. The view from the house is so beautiful. The Whale's tail is right in the line of view. We had our family of 6 adults and we never felt trapped. Each room has it's own balcony or patio. The beds were fabulous. We even used the Private Chef they recommended and the food/service was unbelievable. Everyone was sad to leave and we will definitely return. We especially loved looking for the bird life and hearing the howler monkeys. You most definitely need a good 4x4 vehicle to get to the house. NO JOKE.

This was our fifth trip to Costa Rica, fourth between Uvita and Ojachal one north off the Coast from Liberia and our favorite. The roads as expected require four wheel drive, amenities and views superb, managed by a first class team.

House was great, property manager very friendly, responding immediately to any questions. All in all perfect!

Meridian house was a perfect place to stay in one of our favorite areas of Costa Rica. The property is stunning both inside and out. The drive up requires a 4 x 4 but that is well worth it once you arrive. Everything was top notch. Thank you

This property is gorgeous. The view in every direction is breath taking. From the back, you can clearly see Uvita, whale tail, playa Hermosa, and then Dominicaito towards the north. The sunsets are beautiful. From the front, you can see the mountains. One of my favorite views is from the floor to ceiling windows of master bath! The grounds are immaculate. Beautiful, lush and colorful. Honestly we woke in awe of the view every morning. It’s so quiet but the birds and bugs are constantly making noise. So peaceful. The home is clean, modern with a minimalist vibe. Not cozy and cluttered, but I like that. Very spacious. Every room has an amazing view! Fabulous kitchen! If you wanted to cook, it has everything you need including a large induction range! The outdoor pool area and porch with the grill and large dinning table is huge. Plenty of space to spread out! We did work out there every morning! Great loungers around the pool. There are no beach chairs, umbrellas, floats for the pool or outdoor games. Some other properties we have stayed at have a variety of those items. It would have been nice to have a chair or to for the beach… The drive. It’s a grind.. it’s a long way up and bumpy. But 100% worth it. But it may not be for everyone. It’s probably 20 mins to the main road, but once you are there, it’s 4-10 min to a beach in either direction. The restaurant Scala, is like 12 min from the house and it’s amazing with the best cocktails! The property manager was awesome. They use the whats app to communicate. Always quick to respond. We had them food shop for us prior to arrival. They organized everything and put it all away! If you like being up high, don’t mind bumpy rides, great views and a modern, clean home, this is the rental for you!!!

There is a little trade off because of the location. The views front and back are amazing, but the drive up & down the mountain require about 15 to 20 minutes to the main road. In my opinion the extra time is worth it! The layout of the villa is open and I would not change anything. Wake up every morning in awe.

Everything was great. The house has a lot of different nice places to enjoy! Great to have a BBQ. 20 minutes from the main road makes it somewhat long from the beach but who wants to go to the beach in this wonderful house. Th ocean view is the best

Meridian House is amazing!! We travel to Uvita a few times a year and this is by far the best property we have stayed at. Ismael was very responsive and helped to arrange for anything we needed. It takes about 15 minutes to drive up the mountain in a 4x4 but the view over the beach and Whales Tail more than makes up for it. Due to the lack of previous reviews we had a little apprehension in booking but in the end we were so glad we did.
