it was nice, but there was no microwave and i could hear people going in and out of there rooms all night. otherwise it was a nice place.

I’m always a fan of Hyatt but quite disappointed with the cleanliness of this one. There’s a stain on the carpet front and center as you walk in that looks like blood. The sofa at the lobby is filthy, that should go. Not the usual Hyatt

Stayed here many times. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast has always been good. Location is close to highway and all other needs.

Great location and condition

It was ok. 3/5 stars. Average at most. The homeless encampment across the street was a little off putting but that’s not the hotels fault. The chicken Thai soup was $9 for a small portion but it was delicious. The pool was cold but clean. The bed was a little lumpy but not too bad. The room was clean. The tv had very limited options of viewing and the channels scrambled after midnight which was weird. The staff were very friendly though and overall the place was kept clean.

I had high expectations for this hotel and I know how famous it is. But I was disappointed. There were 3 travelers and I booked one king size bed and one queen size sofa bed. But in reality, the king size bed was the same as the queen size sofa bed. The sofa bed also didn't have a blanket, so I asked the front desk, but they gave me a thin blanket and said it would be warm. I was so disappointed. I didn't sleep warmly. I don't think I will stay at this hotel again.

Excellent hotel, clean and safe and perfect location for shopping at WEM

we are live in Hyatt place Edmonton west Hotel from October 11 to 13. Before we left the room on the afternoon of October 12th, we went to the front desk to request for housekeeping service. front desk staff also made the application and wrote it down in his notebook. But when we came back to the room at night, the room had not been cleaned at all! So we went to the front desk again to ask, a female staff at the front desk, the attitude is very perfunctory and told us that “no one can do housekeeping service for you today, at most give you a few clean towels, while taking away the garbage”. She said if you're not satisfied, speak to the manager in person tomorrow. We checked out on October 13th and told the front desk that we wanted to communicate with the manager, but the front desk told us that the manager was away for the weekend and could only give us the manager's email. As for hyatt, we have lived in different countries for many times, and we are really disappointed this time!

Rooms were nice and clean however the beds were very uncomfortable and hard, a nice hotel like this should atleast have comfy beds, very cheaply made beds in a nice hotel, definately something wrong when the pull out couch is more comfy then the actual bed

The bed linens were very loud, it sounded like paper and they weren't comfy at all. Further, the A/C in the room worst go below 20.5 Celsius. It's locked out, making the room warm all night. As such, we won't stay here again.

Breakfast was really good, especially fruit salad , greek yogurt w/ honey and various topping, and also steel cut oatmeal .

We had booked 4 nights for 4 guests and upon check-in realized we were only supplied with 3 bath towels, and 2 coffees. One of our guests would be sleeping on the hide-A- bed and was only given a very thin blanket. Then we were surprised on day 2 coming back to the hotel after a long day that not only had our room not been cleaned, but that none of our towels or coffees had been replenished. I called to front desk to have these items sent up and was told that they do not provide housekeeping services during your stay unless you request it. Day 3 not enough towels and coffees and had to request again. Beds were ridiculously squeaky and uncomfortable but the rest of the room was good. The included breakfast was very good consisting of eggs, bacon/sausage, hashbrowns, pancakes/ waffles/ french toast, yogurt, fruit, bagels btead, cereal etc.

Great clean hotel in perfect location for West Edmonton Mall, nice layout for quick complimentary breakfast. Pool area is clean. Hit or miss whether your room will be cleaned when you are gone tho. Friendly service from front desk.

Great property but the staff member at the pool on Saturday night was aggressive, mean and made claims about us that were completely false.. She needs some more training.

I paid over $600 per night for this room during a holiday weekend, so my expectations were very high. I was very disappointed to find huge burn marks in the carpeting of our room, and the walls full of marks and scratches. After a long drive, I was shocked to find no complimentary water bottles. I will not be staying there again.

They placed me on first floor. Please don’t ever do this. Homeless around my window. Felt unsafe. I was also near ballroom. Cleaning staff was vacuuming at 11 pm which woke me up and then I stayed away for two hours.
