The staff was really helpful and tried to communicate as much as possible in English. They agreed that I leave my bag after checking out while I was visiting the city. The location is perfect as it is close to the railway station (ca 15 minutes,), within the old center and the sea, as well as all monuments in the center. You can find a smack bar or a coffee with shisha in the next vicinity. The atmosphere is charming as well as entering the building, as inside, both in the lobby and the room. The place is spacious, as well as the room (I was in number 6 just in front of the reception)

It is true that the bed is a bit hard (although this is not always a disadvantage. Also pay attention to the fact that there is an additional blanket in the cupboard) and that the bathroom was a bit old, but please remember what are the costs. This is a hostel in an old building with a budget price.

The staff was extremely rude the talked to us in a bad manner and a loud voice and wanted to kick us out w had to call the police to solve this they were trying to scam us when we were gonna stay for only two hours to rest it was an awful experience and as a Egyptian i certainly wouldn't recommend this to tourist's

I fell in love with this hostel - the building and the rooms are such old world glamour and we paid extra to get a room with a sea view which was definitely worth it as you can gaze out to the Mediterranean each evening and morning. It was right in the heart of Alexandria and you could walk everywhere easily. Staff friendly too. Really recommend if you want to experience the bygone era.

We arrived early in the morning so we just booked a room to have a 3 hours sleep before going to the airport. The stuff was nice to us and we could rest and that was actually our goal. We also had a coffee at the entrance, which is a very beatiful and relaxing place. The location is quite good.

Staff speaks little English, but they are friendly and helpful. Wifi in rooms away from the common area is almost non-existent, but you can always hang around in the common area for internet access (but the watchman does sleep on the couch at night starting 10pm-ish with lights out). People occasionally smoke in the common area

It's in the heart of the city, the value of price , stuff were kind

The mattress wasn't soft it was really hard to find comfort while sleeping, the closet was dusty.

Only a bottom sheet on the bed, no towel, mattress was substandard, bathrooms were down the hall, no wifi. The no wifi part and down the hallway bathrooms are noted on the website. No towels and only a bottom were surprises.

Spacious room, everything is clean, the two men at reception are friendly and helpful. There is no wi-fi in the house, just as a notice if you want to plan some things. A bit difficult to find if you arrive in the evening, by day it’s a lot easier as you see the name on the top.

This house is an experience, since you take the elevator you go back in time. The place is clean and very quiet, you are just in the center of Alejandría a walking distance from the historical places.
