misleading information they do not have their own restaurant or dining area. The tariff said breakfast included. But they buy from a restaurant near to the resort & the food was below average & no options. The egg curry was extremely spicy & the chana almost raw. The food was set up outside in the verandah just outside the room. While the view was splendid extremely hot humid and uncomfortable to enjoy the food or view. the staff set up everything and left. There was no service or asking if we want anything more of the food served on the table. We were 3 adults n they gave us one plate of egg curry with 2 eggs. Few appams, 1 small piece of puttu, 1 small portion undercooked chana curry, 4 slices of bread & 1 omelette. BOOK THIS PLACE ONLY FOR THE VIEW!!! EVERYTHING ELSE BELOW AVERAGE & coming from a person who’s travelled enough n more domestically & internationally. There’s no proper food facility & while staff tried to be helpful but not trained properly. NO STAR PROPERTY Lack of restaurant very inconvenient BREAKFAST INCLUDED tariff MISLEADING as no proper spread or options. Had to actually ask repeatedly to give me more than one option than the appam & egg curry. The staff told me we give only one dish. Overall rating hence disappointing

After two weeks travelling around Kerala we had a wonderful relaxing week at Cherai Lake Resort which is on the lakeside with beautiful views across the lake and the sea 50 metres away. There’s a lovely sandy beach minutes from the resort. The staff were very attentive and always available. Lovely breakfast was served on the veranda outside our room each morning. We had the room with the extra big bed which was very spacious and the room and en-suite was spotless. The whole resort was beautiful and so well maintained. We could use the pool at the villa as it was vacant while we were there. There are lots of restaurants within a short walking distance. The staff can also provide meals if you want to eat on the veranda. The staff are so kind and helpful and will also organise taxis etc for you. The taxi took about 40 minutes at night from Cochin airport so was an ideal place to relax at the end of our holiday.

Beautifully presented property in a great location overlooking the lake. Incredibly friendly staff who allowed us to use the Villa pool as it wasn’t booked. We also had free use of the bicycles. Breakfast was delicious. All in all, a wonderful way to unwind at the end of two weeks travelling in Kerela.

The turn off from the road was a little difficult to spot. Suite with private pool - the pool is private but not much privacy as it's open to the courtyard.

Very cooperative staff. Gave pool after the stay time as no guests were coming to pool villa.

Food options are less. Served ready made porotta, expected fresh ones
