The staff and facilities are great. Surrounding areas are very poor and uncomfortable to be outside of the property.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. However the room itself was not the best. There was no hot water for the shower. The beds only had sheets and no blankets. The neighborhood is rather rough, which is why I greatly appreciated how helpful the staff were. They helped us getting food and a ride to the airport.

The neighborhood was local and didn’t feel safe. Had it not been for our driver speaking with the manager for us we probably would not have stayed. The manager was very nice. This was a last minute booking due to our flight was cancelled and we just needed a pace close to the airport to stay for the night.

Great, I’d only stayed for the night, overall good

Excellent staff, very responsive to needs and great suggestions for area. Andreas took us to a local mall to get food for lunch/dinner! We felt like we were well cared for. While this is not a five star resort, we felt like we were treated like we were. The hotel is located within a local neighbourhood so not sure about safety outside the hotel in evenings, but the neighbourhood also seemed have a community spirit with friends setting up tables to play cards or dominos in the evening. The hotel has a terrace on the top floor with a conference room, pool table, game tables and an open air section that was a nice space to spend the afternoon or evening. The staff arranged transport to the airport in the morning and took care of our luggage as my husband has mobility issues. We would recommend a stay here, even longer term if you don’t require a beach and are on a limited budget and want to see Punta Cana. Access to the main road is close and easy. About 10 minutes to the airport.

Great place to stay on short notice

I recommend this hotel as a short stay or when must change flights. The location is good for the airport only. It is chep, clean enough with air conditioning and comfortable bed. The neighbourhood is not so wow . The staff is great and very helpful. They speak English and they can help you with everything you need, just ask. We love to chat with Mr. Andreas, a very nice man and was a great pleasure for us to meet him. The only bad thing was some dogs that barked during the night and some late people who slamed the doors.

Good stay worth it just be prepared

10 minute drive from the airport. Clean room with ceiling fan and air conditioned. Andres was accomodating and hospitable and even helped me order some food. El presidente beer is available for $200 Dominican ($4US). Even played some pool with the friendly locals. Highly recommend!

Great staff , well built small Hotel .Not a great area but felt very safe at the hotel . No dining nearby. but the staff got me some food so didnt starve . !

Perfect

Stay was just what we needed -- a economical option for a stay near the airport. Air conditioning worked, bed was fine, shower was a bit cold. For the price, this is a good hotel. One thing to note is that we were advised not to go out walking around the hotel at night to get food, so best to eat before or take an Uber to the mall nearby. We ordered Domino's delivery.

Staff were very supportive and friendly, and Andres speaks english very well.

No fridge in the Room

Perfect for travelers who came to experience the people and culture. My stay here was very pleasing; I felt safe. Andres and his staff were extremely friendly, polite and accommodating. There is a rooftop area where you can chill, drink, smoke, play dominoes and/or pool. I would definitely stay here again. Downside, there is a lot of ongoing construction by the Ministry of Tourism in the area and it is a little ways away from the Downtown and Tourist areas(10-20 minutes). Renting a car or having arranged transportation would prove more beneficial if staying here. Other than that, I had a great time and I would stay here again and recommend Apartahotel Dubai.

It’s a clean hotel motel. Nothing crazy to talk about. It’s in the middle of the lower income community. We just needed something closer to the airport and it worked!

Very nice reception by host. Easy to reach by car from airport. We liked the roof terrace. Safe parking. Excellent value for the price paid.
