the design of the house and its aesthetic feel

on a cold dreary day under winter conditions how can the bathroom/washbasin not even have hot water to allow us to use it .Whilst we appreciate alternative arrangements to another onsen facilities, that was also not functioning as expected. The heaters were paraffin fueled and we had to breathe in the toxic air throughout the time when the heater was on and even the heater had to be switch on regularly as it kind off switches off with a timer where we were not instructed on its use. Basic amenities MUST BE CHECK before arrival of guests to ensured its functionality!!!

Midori, the host, was exceptional. She was wonderful and made our stay perfect. The property is stunning and in a beautiful location.
