The place is great totally worth booking there ! Staff went out of there way to help you in anyway. Property is beautiful! They were always doing something from painting to cleaning just a great trip for our family thank you so much !

Stayed at Dreams Royal for 5 days and I truly enjoyed my stay! The best part about my stay was the staff. They were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and I loved that they kept the mini bar stocked daily with my favorite drinks.
The only pain points I had was the fact they did not have a restaurant that served Dominican food, the excursion workers on the beach are VERY persistent and the house keeping came at the most random times. One night I placed my DND sign on my door, I received knocks on the door and when I did not answer (I was in bed) the door opened. Thankfully I had the latch on.
Back to the beach workers lol They were all very nice and we did enjoy some excursions but trying to relax on the beach and catch a tan is extremely difficult 😩 I respect them for doing their job but sheesh lol not sure if the resort can control that or not but please be prepared.
All n all, I would recommend Dreams Royal and would even go back

The property is beautiful. The beach is well kept and clean however the workers that do the excursions consistently harass people staying at the resort. The food selection was great and has a variety of different restaurants to choose from. The pools were amazing and tremendous however, they could use a good cleaning as some parts you can see algae. Overall the stay was very relaxing, I just wish the beach was more secure.

We received poor service in several of the restaurants, the food was lacking in flavor and the property desperately needed updates. I would not recommend this resort.

Emanuel the butler was awesome. Kenya the restaurant manager was absolutely amazing and made all our requests a reality and juan, Nelson and margarita were superb at breakfast at Portofino restaurant. Really great resort with excellent staff!!!

Very lovely hotel and property and dining options but lack of English speaking led to difficulties with ordering drinks and food and any questions we had. Also staff seemed to expect tips for things and it was uncomfortable

My husband and I had a great time at Dreams Royal Beach. We enjoyed every minute of our trip from the staff to the food and the overall ambience. Dreams Royal treated us like family and we can’t wait to come back!

Dreams Royal beach was the best resort we have stayed in the Dominican Republic. The staff is what makes it amazing. We’ve stayed at many others and the staff doesn’t compare to dreams

Overall, for the price paid and competitive market, I wasn’t thrilled with Dreams. We stayed in a “preferred” room and it didn’t seem like we had any privilege or priority. The property is nice, the food was good but would’ve been nice to have Dominican food in DR. The housekeeping was mediocre at best and most days we didn’t even get our room cleaned. My son spilled juice on the comforter and when the room was cleaned the sheets and comforter weren’t even changed. The room temperature was as not cool enough despite adjusting the settings to the coolest temp. It’s very loud during all hours. The entertainment department could really use some help. By 10pm the place was dead unless you wanted to go to a disco club. They really could have karaoke or just music playing for ppl to dance, instead they have one nightly show of rock music or alike (which was great!) for 1-2 hours followed by nothing…we’re on vacation- we want more entertainment! The facilities are clean and the pools and beach are nice. Service was pretty good. The hands down best part was the butler specifically we had EMMANUEL and he actually made our vacation! He helped with reservations, special touches for a birthday, informed us of events, etc. He was top notch! Overall, expectations were not met.
