Spotlessly clean room with a rack for my suitcase and somewhere to put unused cushions so as to keep them off the floor. Not a lot of interaction with staff but what there was was pleasant and helpful. I guess my biggest concern was what would happen if the lift broke down as I certainly couldn’t have managed the stairs. No tea (or other hot drink) making facilities, but that’s not the end of the world.

Hotel De Champagne is right across the street from the train station. Couldn't be in a more convenient location.
We were welcomed and made to feel at home. The staff provided us with an extra pillow and were very helpful in responding to all of our requests during our 3 nights there. The Angers Castle and Cathedral, stores and restaurants are all close enough to walk to.

Great location by the (gare) train station... walk to the hotel and short walk to (centre ville)
City center... Enterprise car rental right next door ....Breakfast Buffett very good...only downside is hotel is across from bus depot.. can be noisy on weekends...rooms rather small... but clean...going to stay again on way back to Paris...

Arriving by train this hotel is over the other side of the wide avenue and close to the car hire office within the station concourse. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable with a generous and healthy breakfast. The staff were welcoming and helpful. A good stay.An easy walk to the castle with its magnificent tapestry.

The hotel locates just in front of the train station. Some bus stops are also very close. Although the close proximity to the station, surroundings were not noisy and I slept well. The hotel staffs were friendly and kind enough.
