The rooms look nothing like the pictures at all. Please do not book here!!! It was false advertisement all the way around. I'm thinking they photoshopped these pictures. No room has a view of the castle, the bed and couch was hard and also had stains on it. Don't waste your money!!!

Room was a cool idea, but poorly executed. Lots of mold in the shower/steam room and along the edges near it in the room. Check in was a hassle communicating with the front desk employees via whats app or text. Provided breakfast was store bought and coffee machine made. Not terrible, but not the best.

The only good thing about this property was the location. To begin with there is no proper “reception”. When we arrived at 8pm to check in, we were sent a message to go to a nearby restaurant to check in and when we did go to restaurant half the staff didn’t know what we were asking about and only one man knew what we meant by needing to check in but he was so busy doing his actual job which was to serve customers at the restaurant that we had to wait for him to get some free time. They took our breakfast order and confirmed timing etc but completely forgot to bring it to us in the morning and when we asked about it, they said someone had forgotten to write it down! Very very strange stay.

From the moment I arrived the staff (Roberto in particular) were very friendly and helpful. The room was really good -modern, spacious, very clean and tidy. Breakfast was served in my room - very good. An excellent stay all round and good location.

I think I spent two hours in there. Worth every penny to soak our feet after a lengthy Europe tour!

Nice having "sauna" in the room. King room is separated from Queen room by an internal door, so you can hear everything from the other room. Absolutely not pleasant... Huge lack of privacy and lack of sleep... Moreover the room stays too humid all night. The shower kept leaking all night. It was extremely inconvenient. Breakfast is poor. Not worth it at all. The bed is not firm, so it tends to swallow the body during the night which is very inconfortable. Pillow smells of sweat of other people. Also inconvenient...

Amazing hotel with even better staff. Breakfast every morning along with Netflix in the room, short walk to the port, restaurants, and major shopping areas. Modern room with excellent amenities. Would highly recommend.

My stay at Carten was great! It was a bit difficult to find because it's inside another building, but it was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's nicely located near multiple restaurants and not too far from the port.

Carten is walking distance to the marina, the castle and the main shopping district which made it a great place to stay for a quick stop in Naples. Francesca was very friendly and provided us with lots of local information and tips. The hotel is a little hard to find as the rooms are located within a complex of other housing and buisnesses. It’s located on the third floor but they do have an elevator if you have luggage. Overall very clean and spacious rooms, I would stay again if visiting Naples!

For example, we had a very early departure at 4am and a beautiful little breakfast had been organised despite this time. The rooms were an excellent size, with the bathroom being exceptional. No wonder they will soon be expanding. Would definitely stay here again. The only slight negative was the neighbourhood not being the nicest setting. Thank you again!

Great little gem in Naples! So close to good pizza shops and restaurants. It took a while to find the hotel, perhaps a larger sign would assist in future travellers finding the place. We were greeted by friendly staff and were extremely happy with the accommodation. Definitely a pleasant surprise and a good nights rest!

Wonderful large rooms with modern bathroom and sauna tub. This boutique hotel is within walking distance to ferry terminal. The attentive and lovely staff helped with everything we needed as well as prepared a great breakfast. Will stay here again next time we're in Naples.

From the outside this place doesn’t look like much as it’s in a big complex. Once you’re inside it’s a totally different story. The bathtub was huge never seen one that bug in Europe before. The bed was awesome and comfy they give you their Netflix login so you can watch on a big tv was very good. The doors all were very tough to unlock and lock we went through 3 sets of keys before we finally were given the right set good thing we checked or we would have been locked out all night and missed our tour. Would check your keys before you leave was a minor flaw. Everything else was amazing would stay again our room had a great castle view.

Exceptional! The apartment was beautiful. Comfortable mattress. Upscale decor. Fantastic view of the castle and ocean and an interesting view of a busy part of old town. As noisy as it should have been the sound proof window's provided peaceful quiet inside. Met 2 of the reception staff and they were both so very friendly and accommodating. Gave great tips on things to see, places to eat, and treats not to miss. Will definitely recommend this place to everyone we can and anyone visiting naples. Perfect location.
