It was one of the cheapest options & although the location was excellent, the pics looked A LOT better than reality. The room was clean, but old & the walls were paper thin. If you don’t want to spend an arm & a leg for a room & don’t plan to spend much time in it, then the hotel was acceptable.

Stayed here on a whim on a road trip. The Inn is by a busy street but you don't hear it when in the room. Room was a nice size but a bit more dated appliances. The concierge was there sometimes but not others, we had to wait to check in as we were ringing the bell and calling the number on file. They came around 10-15 mins later, which was okay! I assumed its run by a smaller family and not corporation so it ended up being ok :) It was close to Monterey Bay, all the tourist spots and the mall so overall great location!

We decided very last minute to spend the night in Monterey. The room was easy to book, parking included. Upon arrival the hotel is small but very cozy feeling. Check in was super easy and staff was nice. Room was clean and comfortable! I felt safe and we parked literally right outside. I would definitely recommend if you’re in the area and are just wanting to stay the night! Coffee shops and bakeries are everywhere! Went on a cute little 10 min walk in the morning to get coffee and breakfast!

Very clean and clean smelling. The beds were comfortable which is saying A LOT from me. I rarely can sleep comfortably in a hotel. The staff were extremely friendly. Very nice experience. I will definitely stay here again.

Stayed there some 20 years ago and again: they should do something about the door clearance. Unless, it is like sleeping in the street. Rest was fine. Esp. the lemon tree in the backyard and the location in walking distance to attractions.

Staff was very friendly. Overall the property does look a little outdated. There was a huge stain on our carpet and a few small hair in the bathroom.

The bathroom door needed repair (it was falling apart at the bottom). This created a negative impression of the room.
The windows were sealed and it was dark.
Previously we took a room on the second floor and were impressed by the cleanliness, pleasant smell and comfort. This time it was different.
