The bed was only 180, so a bit small for a tall guy like me.

Ideal stay location, didn't want to drive to City Centre. Bus stop very close and frequent buses, most convenient. Room and bath spotless and modern. Easy access to highway leading out of City. Good value.

The room was lovely in terms of decor, space and furniture. The ensuite bathroom has a nice big shower and a towel warmer that does actually keep warm the whole bathroom.

The headboard of the bed hid some dust, a few spiders (one of which was crawling on the bed, that's why my partner and I checked the back of it out afterwards...) and their pretty big webs. There was also a noticeable yellow stain on one of the pillowcases and one of the two cups in the room was stained too. Considering the super positive feedback that this place has, it was quite disappointing to face such a lack of attention to detail (namely cleaning, which is the bare minimum), especially for the night rate that we paid. Although the host lady apologised and offered to move us to a bigger family room, we preferred to stay in ours and have it deep cleaned since the same issues could have easily occurred with the other room as well. I think it would have been better and nicer to offer us something different, such as a free breakfast or a discount on it alongside deepcleaning, just saying. Also, it's well known that spiders are common in Scottish households, but still, that doesn't really change the game.

The couple who owed this were so lovely and accomodating, they went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We travelled with children and they made them and us feel so welcome. The room and whole place is very beautiful and exceptionally clean and we can't wait to stay here again.

Such a friendly welcome, nice bedroom and bathroom, ideal stay to discover the city

the experience was perfect! immaculate living space and great breakfast! the house is close to the airport for easy access/departure and equally easy access to downtown (take a bus for 1.8 pounds that is literally 20 meters from the front door and takes 20 minutes). if you have a car, there is great on site parking.
