Nice property, units are a little dated but comfortable and clean. Nice pool and minigolf

Lots to do here, grounds are well kept. Room was not ready on time, over an hour late. Staff could have been more helpful. Found bugs in the room and they wanted us to move out for a few hours and wouldn’t place us in another room until I argued about it, so not great customer service. Also was not concerned about room being ready late.

Room was a 2 bedroom suite with a nice common area. Trips goal was to hang out with the grandparents and get some bonding time. The suite we were in was a 2 bedroom with a kitchen and common area to hang out in and enjoy morning breakfasts in before visiting local parks of Busch Gardens and Water Country. Final day in the suite was a recovery day to just hang out and enjoy the pool.
Room was overall clean with some minor annoyances. Remote for the television (for kid down times) had some semi-functional buttons on it which was annoying. Coffee machine had a broken handle on the coffee grounds basket. Table had some minor sticky substance left over from a prior occupant. Easily cleaned up, but distressing to see. Island in the kitchen at the base showed signs of water damage either from an incident or cleaning of the tiles getting under it.
Overall it was a good experience. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would easily recommend staying at thi s location.

Our stay at club Wyndham Governor’s Green was a pleasant surprise! Our condo was spacious and clean, and provided everything we needed. The resort was lovely and quiet! The pool areas were equally beautiful and wonderfully refreshing after hot days in Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. Minigolf was an added bonus. To be noted, you can here a train go through the area periodically…but it didn’t disturb us. This resort was located close to Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, Water country USA and William and Mary. Many restaurants to choose from for dining. When we return to the area, we will stay here again!

Perfect, except..... When we arrived after an 11 hour drive, we were greeted by the front desk staff that said "you're staying 2 nights, right?" Nope! We had booked/prepaid for 6 nights. The hotel apparently was going to shift us to another property after 2 nights. This was unacceptable, and is against the Virginia consumer protection law. I asked for the manager, who said "call the reservation number, and they will tell you where you're going." Nope! I insisted that she call. Fortunately, after 15 minutes in her office, she returned and said we could stay for the 6 nights we had booked. I had never experienced anything like this before, and it would have been a huge logistical nightmare for our particular circumstances. It's a timeshare that they also bill as a hotel. There is a soft sell at check-in to get you to go to their timeshare presentation - nothing too aggressive. Other than that, the property was fine. Quiet and peaceful. Close to the Williamsburg activities. Pool was nice. It's just a bit dated.

Unfortunately, there are other negative reviews where people have had the same issue. Please stay away from this property at all costs. Everyone at the front desk will not help you as well.

Stay was pretty good. There was a leak coming from our room when we weren't there, but they fixed it quickly. The staff is friendly. My only criticism would be around staffing the pool area. A few nights there were kids running all over and kids throwing the footballs in the pool. Normally, nothing big, but they were throwing from one end of the pool to another. They hit multiple kids in the pool and didn't seem to care. I would consider having someone out there to monitor the behavior. Other than that, our stay went well.

Gorgeous property and spacious clean condos. My family definitely enjoyed the pools and mini golf. I enjoyed the gym and jet tub in my room. We will be making this our go-to resort when we travel to Williamsburg in the future!

The stay was perfect, except for when I check in lady name Allison preferred me and my husband and family to go do a presentation and then she lied to us and said that we didn’t have to do the whole presentation that we deserved to just go and pick up our gifts so we said get your gift and the gift of yours to keep so we went in and we told him we had to go because we had a birthday party that we had to attend to for our babies first birthday and everything is ruined because she lied to us. They told us we didn’t and we wouldn’t get off the gift so we didn’t stay 90 minutes which was ridiculous. We told him that he was not buying anything. My recommendation is just say no do not. Do they offer horrible experience they are all liars

I wasn’t a huge fan of the tub open to the master bath but not a huge deal. My kids took advantage of the main pool and indoor pool which they all loved. Probably the only thing I did not enjoy was the pressure at check in to sign up for their vacation club. I get that that’s their schtick but I do not like being pressured into things. Needless to say I tried to avoid the staff like the plague and didn’t take advantage of some of their activities (they had wine/hors d’oeuvres on our check in night). It was clean and a very nice stay otherwise
