It’s decent enough for the price. Like that they have a restaurant below. Was concerned with noise at hotel has a game room (not sure if this is a VLT bar or what) but no noise came of it.

Lost lots of points as we are only staying one night and didn’t have a good sleep at all. Was awoken late night with a loud bang followed by loud voices that did subside within 15 minutes. It tough booking places when you don’t know the area.

The location was terrible, not at all like the pictures. The room was so hot, couldn't sleep

tv wasn’t working the first night , they only fix it the second day . the heating was cranked up and the control wasn’t working .

Staff were nice

No heat in the room. We told them that and nothing was done. Froze all night.

I liked the location to our venue, bed was pretty comfy. Linens and room nice and neatly arranged and clean.

The Staff member that checked us in was rather rude to my spouse when he requested a later checkout for us after we had been in our room for a couple of hours. Not only was he rude about asking him to adjust our checkout time but he failed to enter or communicate this request to the morning staff. He also wasn't sucessful in doing a pre authorization of the booking or even communicating to us that it wasn't done. Luckily the morning staff let us know so we were able to ensure payment was processed. The room itself was neat and tidy with all your basic needs taken care of. The decor was rather dated and lacked that homey feel and stains in carpet of room 512 were pretty bad.

I like this hotel. The facilities are older than some other places, but the service shines through brightly, and everything is as clean, comfortable and convenient as I could ask. The wifi is good, the location is very acceptable unless you want to be right downtown--and it's perfect if you're grabbing the bus to Peace River. Lots of restaurants and stores within easy walking distance. But the real selling point at the Continental is the staff, certainly at the desk but especially at the on-site restaurant. Bluntly, I was floored by the restaurant service--I don't recall better, more attentive or more polite service anywhere since I used to sometimes frequent the Timber Club years/decades ago at the Hotel Vancouver. The Continental Inn & Suites’ Restaurant & Dining Room meets that bar, and it's a high one. In short, the homestyle food is very good--the service is truly first-rate, I'd eat there again just for that.
