No extraction on toilet

No food in whole resort
3.8
Nice location
Looking out at the back is not much of a view.
3.8
Comfortable room
No one was at check in desk, had to go to other location on resort to check in.
3.8
Perfect for hikers, skiers, comfortable, clean. Staff very nice, free parking.
No air conditioning, long way from Golden, no restaurants, small convenience store with not much for food.
3.8
Close to nature!
A little far from downtown
3.8
kitchen
spa dirty not usable and no view with the room 106b. Really unfortunate considering the high price I paid. I should ask for a refund .
3.8
wonderful views, even though they put us on the back side of the hotel, balcony was large enough for yoga!
Some of the signage was a bit unprofessional.
Fridge was very loud and could not be adjusted as the dial was broken. we just unplugged it for sleeping. lodge itself was a bit outdated, but a renovation would do wonders!
3.8
Great view of the mountains
All good

Ski to door
Awkward check in
No stairs to parkade

The cleanliness, and guest services was questionable. Many broken items in the room, dog hair and human hair was everywhere. It looked like the room was not cleaned throughly. The pots, pans, and spatulas had food stuck on it - like it was never washed.
Guest service was no help. My baby was sick so I called down to get an extra bedsheet, guest services said that they’d be about an hour and a half, but they never showed up. They don’t pick up the phone from the room, I’d have to call from my cellphone.
Quite disappointed when it could have gone totally different if they had paid a little attention to detail, and maybe have guest services in the actual building instead of only the main lodge.

Palliser lodge is a well maintained, modern lodge at the base of Kicking horse. Ski-in/ski-out with underground parking.
Staying at the base is a lot more convenient than driving up from Golden every day (which we did on a previous trip).
1 bed apartment was spacious, nicely decorated and well equipped. Would recommend if you are looking for an apartment at the base of Kicking Horse.
Minor detail but the front desk wasn't manned most of the time we stayed there. Not really necessary I guess and there were contact details for the staff at the Glacier Lodge who were very helpful when we needed them.

Location was amazing for ski-in ski-out
Not that clean, missing towels, bare walls….. could be SO much better with more attention to detail
3.8
Roomy, perfect location, well-equipped kitchen.
3.8
Great location. Warm and cosy room. Ski locker. Bathroom floor could have been cleaner. All Staff fantastic and very helpful. We would definitely stay again.
3.8
Locations was great. Hottub was nice
Not often front staff. No towels for hot tub. Not enough supplies in the room for more than a 2 day stay… even tho we booked for 4 days. Toilet seat was loose. Kitchen was under stocked for cooking
3.8
Spacious interior and more facilities in the room than expected for the price. Good slope side location.
Had to check in at the main lodge. Not a major issue, though would have been good to have that communicated to us prior to arrival.
3.8
The charming rooms, staff, cold/hot tubs.
Few good options for late night travelers but all things considered that's really minor.
3.8
Super nice view.
Partly my fault but it's pretty dead after 4-5pm, no restaurants, no bars. Gotta be ready to go to town for ammenities. But like i said it's not really the hotel fault.
3.8
The receptionist (and manager, I think) was unusually caring and kind.
everything was good

The staff were friendly when we checked in and out. Didn't see any staff other than those times. The location was nice for scenery but if I was to go back in time I would have stayed in Golden Town site.
The cost was very high compared to what we had or my expectations of what the room would be was higher than it should have been.
Dusty, mouse droppings in the kitchen, toilet bowels highly stained, blinds should be replaced or repaired so they work. Internet reminded me of the good old dial-up days.

I was offered a 110$ upgrade with balcony and mountain view, it was good weather and we were looking forward to enjoying this. But we didn't get the balcony and the staff were rude and accused us of lying when we complained. Appariently that's what you get for paying an extra $110 here. Be careful with this hotel

The Views were breath taking! My partner and I were celebrating our One Year Anniversary, And we couldn't of picked a better place to stay. The 2 bedroom suite with hot tub was extremely spacious and comfortable. We will definitely be back in the future.
Not much to critique to be honest!

Mountain location, scenery,
Limited staff, no daily room services. No where to eat on site. (Free or otherwise)
Porcelain cup (no paper ones) had lipstick on it.
Dirty patio table. Not dust, dirt. Had to clean to be able to use.
No air-conditioning, though none was promised.
Retaining wall view.
Had a Patio, not advertised balcony (bottom floor)
Asked for a higher floor and was told completely booked due to a couple of weddings. Yet limited underground parking was half full. Had room with retaining wall view. Saw few people around for a full house? NO, I got what I got because I booked though an online booking agent and properties like this one assign their less desirable rooms to budget payers.
I've experienced this with other bookings too. With other properties.
Attract you with budget price and give you budget experience.
r romero3 you lost nothing but property lost a customer.

The room set up and hot tub on the deck was perfect for a family with 2 smaller kids. View was pretty and someone had elf lights off the deck above us which made for a fun light show.
The gondola and bear experience was expensive, we didn't see the bear (no ones fault) then we went back down to take the gondola and it was closed (around 1pm), so $130 for nothing. For the price your paying per night there's no services. Beds in main room could be bigger
3.8
the room was clean, the view from our room was awesome! it's a quiet place to stay (at least in the summer), very nice restaurants down the mountain
when we came, the hotel and reception were empty, it took us another 20 mins to find another hotel where check-in happens (check-in for this hotel). It can be very frustrating when you're tired after a road trip or if you come closer to nighttime.
3.8
beautiful spot on the mountain
spa wasn’t working. we were not told this when booking. had to check in at a different hotel due to staff shortages. confusing process

Bed was great, as was the location
The heat was on in the room and it was 30+ outside... having the heat off and the fan on before we arrived would have helped us sleep better and all around manage the temperature control. Also, not being able to bring our incredibly expensive mountain bikes inside will prevent us from booking at this property again. We weren't riding on this occasion, but when we go to a mountain bike resort we expect to be able to store our bikes in the security of our room. We travel with drop sheets for dirt and socks for the handlebars to prevent marks on walls (which some properties provide upon arrival to ease the packing of their customers) so are always very careful to not damage anything. So, in the future, we won't be staying here unless there's a change to their bike policy.

It was a nice touch to have a toaster, etc in the room. After waiting over an hour after check in time for our room to be ready the girl at the front desk worked some magic and got us a different room, this one with a view. Funny though because when we asked earlier about getting the view we were told they didn't have the ability to switch rooms around.
We couldn't check in until over an hour after 5. You had to go to a different building to check in. Hot tub was out of order which we didn't find out about until we went to find it. Parking was congested due to construction. A table on the patio would have been a nice touch. There is no air conditioning in the room which is not advertised anywhere. In the summer heat we had to leave the patio door open (noisy from the guests coming and going) but at least there was a fan in the room. Luggage trolleys were not obvious. We found them eventually in the parking garage where you couldn't park due to construction. Overall a disappointing stay, we won't be back.
