The common areas are well maintained and clean. Bartenders were friendly and engaging. We asked for extra towels and they were delivered timely and by a friendly housekeeping staff member.
Little tricky finding the pool and weight room. I know it’s nit picky but it was annoying that the lightbulbs in the desk lamp were different types and gave off different light within the same fixture. We asked the front desk about Gluten Free options in the area and they gave us vegan/vegetarian options. Those are not the same thing. The electronic lock on the side door near our room only worked with the key card (not the e-key we had in the app)

The room smelled like mildew. The cost of the room was $200 a night and if you wanted breakfast you had to pay for it. The property was very nice but for the cost it would have could have been better. We had dinner at the restaurant. My husband had a steak and potato Soufflé no bread no salad nothing else and it was $54. What a ripoff.

The location
This was very disappointing.
When we got there they were laying out new asphalt so that the parking lot would look nicer. In our opinion the monye should have been spent inside instead. Old, worn down, dirty and full of stains - that was out room. The carpet had not been vacuumed and there was hairs and dental floss on the floor and no trash can or toilet paper. The beds were filled with long hairs and very very soft.
The wi-fi didn't work for hours at a time and the TV only had a few channels.
When I took a shower in the morning I noticed an old soap bar in the shower - from a former guest, that hadn't been removed.
If Hilton was smart they would sell this property - not Hilton-like at all

Price for room was ridiculous. If you're thirsty, you should probably avoid the bar. I had a double screwdriver and it cost me $20 plus tip. Nice place but your paying for the name. No better than most rooms I've stayed in for 1/2 the price.

absolutely nothing
cancelled our entire reservation had us waiting in the lobby at 2am with a 2 year old. We went through booking.com and they said it was confirmed and not cancelled. Hilton decided to cancel our reservation at 10:15PM while we were on a flight headed there. Then to get charged a premium price for the 8 hours we stayed. We checked out immediately that following morning due to the staff and how it was handled. Switched over to a Marriott and didn’t have one single issue. Checked out bank account later and we got double charged at Hilton to top off the whole experience. 10 out of 10 would not recommend.

Have not received my deposit back which was 150. We left oct 6 and it’s the 17th.
Air conditioning was not cold enough and didn’t get anyone to come clean while we were gone. I asked them to come get the trash we had and didn’t remember to leave us any trash bags.

I noticed on more than one occasion where room service was placed outside the guests room and sat there for more than 8 hours stinking up the hallway.
We stayed in room 330 and the exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work.

Microwave/Fridge in the room, large pool
Hot tub was EXTREMELY hot. We were sweating and dizzy after 5 minutes despite being fine in our previous hotels hot tub.
On site restaurant wasn’t staffed well, no one seated us the first day after waiting 10+ minutes and looking around. So we went elsewhere.
Some of the ice machines didn’t work, at least one per floor. We had to get ice on floor 2 (ground) every morning.
Being right next to a highway, a bit noisy.

The lobby was beautiful, parking waa convenient, multiple elevators were nice, staff were all friendly. The shower gel was nice and the pillows were comfortable. The granite surfaces in the rooms were a nice touch.
Cleanliness of the hotel from the elevators to the roomsI needed more attention. My room appeared not have been thoroughly vacuumed, the carpet was in need of shampooing, the sliding door to the balcony was unsecured, the bathroom floor was sticky when you walked on it, the shower had not been scrubbed cleaned - only shined, likewise with the toilet and sink. In this season of Covid-19 actual cleaning and disinfecting is important. I actually went to the store and purchased cleaning sponges and disinfectant and cleaning. My sponges were filthy after mopping the floor, wiping down the toilet, the sink and scrubbing the bathtub and shower tile. I also wiped down the countertop on all services and used a Clorox wipe to wipe down the ice buckets exterior, hand and outside and inside the lid. It was filled with fingerprints. Additionally, I requested a blanket and while they appeared cleaned, they were not neatly folded and looked worn, tattered and full of motes. Your housekeeping directors, managers and supervisor are in desperate need of more training to inspire better outcomes among the housekeepers. Your quality standard is too low for your pricing and to enjoy the Hilton label, and your quality control either needs to be enforced or revised to live up to the Hilton Doubletree label. ALL room surfaces need to disenfrcted and sanitized between guests. Teach your housekeepers how to do this and give them time yo do it check that yhey sre doing it. This experience was akin to a higher level Motel 6. Guests need to be comfortable and safe at $250+/night for this quality.
