I liked the layout, facilities and size of the rooms. I also liked the pool.

The machines couldn’t process my Visa card. I’d recommend adding alternative ways to pay. Hotel events could also liven things up.

The hotel was in a great location. For airport, Disney, Hollywood, Universal, and Venice Beach access, it was very convenient. The pool was small but amazing and heated for cool evenings. The breakfast was great, and the staff was super friendly. Joanna was especially helpful as were her other colleagues.

Although the staff did their best, this was the worst vacation stay I’ve ever had. Our first night in 534 was like sleeping in the middle of the 405 freeway. Once the kids woke up fully at 5:00, we went to switch rooms. The staff was accommodating and gave us a nice upgrade; however, after we fully moved our things and turned on the air conditioning, there was the smell like a dead mouse. We asked the staff to look into it but couldn’t use the AC for the other four nights due to the smell. We had two quiet nights in that room. Luckily the kids were exhausted on the two nights that our neighbors were extraordinarily loud, as it sounded like they were filming an adult movie for hours. On the first night, the staff said they would check out in the morning, but there was an encore performance the next night.

The hotel was modern and has all we needed to make us comfortable in the room.

Location was good, could walk to mall and breakfast places. Bed was comfortable. Lobby was impressive. Enjoyed the workout room.

The cleaning staff took the towels and forget to bring new ones as well as forgetting to replenish the coffee in the room. Breakfast was expensive (I'm used to complementary breakfast), so I went elsewhere. We had an errant charge on our bill for a meal which we had to resolve with the restaurant. The floor we were on had a distinct smell when we got off the elevator, and the low ceilings made it seem old.

When we were leaving a crazy guy started screaming profanities from the sidewalk and wouldn't leave .
