Quality of service was very poor. The messed up my booking and took me to 3 different rooms, and in the end still got it wrong. I was tiered, so didn’t want to argue. The taxi driver who picked us from airport was so rude, he called me at 7:30am pushing me to use his car for my travel.

We loved the garden, the swimming pool was big and clean. The area is quiet, out of the tourism madness.

The bed could do with a little more comfort

La Casa Resort was a peaceful oasis. Great breakfast, lovely room, beautiful garden and big swimming pool. It was also perfectly located for exploring the island and less than 10 minutes walk to the beach. I cannot recommend it enough!

very friendly staff. They let us check in early. we were 30mins late for breakfast and they made us eggs and toast. We were very impressed.

The pool

An absolutely awesome resort to stay in. Very calm and relaxing, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I found the resort to be clean, very professional and friendly staff. Breakfast was awesome, the lady serving breakfast was so professional and friendly. The receptionist was a super professional, helpful and professional. I already extended my stay for two additional nights. Didn't want to check out as I was in true love with the resort. Would definitely like to stay at La Casa again in future.!

Our first resort booked, very cute lots of greenery and plants even in the washroom. Harvesting nest for mosquitos and other bugs, not to mention the mesh above that mini garden was torn and not firmly fixated to the ceiling. We made sure to keep washroom door closed and lights turned off from attracting more bugs to come inside. Other than that the resort is a very tiny one with a simple cute layout, nothing complicated a small pool to enjoy and a nice eating lounge area by front desk to enjoy the simple yet delicious breakfast offered. The host and kitchen staff are very pleasant and sweet to accommodate any of your extra needs. Beach is a 10 minute walk down many close nearby restaurants catered for tourist.The room was basic, two large ones, with a mosquito net over each. Looks prettier in pictures. Overall for the rate it is what it's worth... was a great little start for our first two days there..

We loved our 5 night stay at La Casa. The staff were all welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was very peaceful, clean (housekeeping each day) and comfortable. We enjoyed our tasty breakfast each morning- eggs and pancakes cooked to order. From La Casa we were able to walk to different beach areas which were all clean (snorkelling was good). Plenty of restaurants nearby. We would love to return- 5 nights was just not long enough! Thank you La Casa

The perfect getaway to stay on Phu Quoc. The place is beautiful, jungle vibe, serene. Lucida, the manager, is an amazing host. She is the kindest and will help you out with everything you need. The closest beach has a serene vibe and amazing sunsets. And for coffee lovers there is a lovely coffee bar across the road with great cappuccino’s. For food try Eat Pray Love, with a very good vegetarian menu.

Great location, 3 min away from a lovely beach, clean swimming pool, amazing garden full of life, satisfying breakfast, clean rooms, good WiFi, helpful staff, motorbike rent on site, cozy coffee place just across the road, 3 -4 affordable restaurants just outside the resort, quite at night... Oh yes, competitive rates. Need I say more? 😉

Really nothing wrong about LaCasa!

Beautiful complex run by a very welcoming family. I really enjoyed my stay here as you will!

The staff were so friendly and willing to help /support you with whatever you need. The room was incredibly comfy (Mosquito net provided) and I loved the little patio outside my room. With only a 10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants /shops it was absolutely perfect for me!

The bungalow was really clean and comfy. The pool was great and the whole garden looked great. The breakfast was nice.

Nobody at the reception, or at the breakfast speaks english, but we managed it. If you want to see something from the island you definetly need a motorbike, or spend some more money into taxis.

- The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Mr Tien and Ms Lang were always happy to help with our requests. - The rooms were comfortable and spacious with nice sitting areas outside. When walking into the rooms, it is clear that these have been cleaned. Our rooms were tidied up on a daily basis. - The hotel was generally tidy with a nice swimming pool to relax next to. - The hotel is a short walk away from a beautiful beach or a short drive to some really nice restaurants by the beach. - Location is perfect for those who don't mind driving into the city or getting a taxi there with friends. If you are looking for a beautiful place to rest at, after exploring the island all day then this is definitely the place.

These are not dislikes but ways the hotel can improve. - Breakfast could be more diverse. Consider adding jams and butter as well as some more types of drinks. Regardless, we still enjoyed the breakfast every day we were there. - Water pressure can be weak at times, especially if showering late at night as water will have to be heated and therefore the pressure decreases. Showering in the mornings is an easy way for guests to avoid dealing with this. - The bar was not open during our stay. This did not affect us as a group as we were allowed to bring our own drinks into the hotel. However, it might benefit the hotel to open the bar as it will create a more vibrant atmosphere. The atmosphere during our stay was still great and we had a nice relaxing time even without the bar being open.

Breakfast was basic but fine

Only thing we didn’t like was the location. But we did love the little coffee shop over the road with such a lovely family running it. And the husband also drove us to the port when we left in his taxi.

We booked one bungalow for family nearly a month before. And when we arrived, they gave us a room which had really bad facilities in the hotel opposite la casa (named memory or mimosa something like that). And from the 2nd day they moved us back to la casa. The room was fine, looked at exactly photo, but the shower was weak and mostly no hot shower. And mosquitos are everywhere.

La Casa is a fantastic place to stay in an unspoilt part of the island. It's in the heart of Ong Lang Village so it's easy to get to restaurants and cafes but also only a 5 minute bike ride to the beach. The staff here are so lovely - always kind, helpful and they remember small details. Great value too. We will be back!
