Provides plenty of hangers to ease laundry. Also with plenty of utensils to ease sharing of food
The staircase a bit steep probably not convenient for travelers with senior. Maybe can highlight this point during booking

Close to train station.
Too noisy. Told owner they said they told upstairs but still very noisy. Everyday it was noisy from 10pm -1pm. 7am onwards.
Futons, pillow too thin. Got a rash from futon laundry.

Convenient and accessible to places we wanted to visit
Inconvenient to climb up n down to carry heavy bags.
No interior door light at the entrance, so difficult to see the combination of room door lock.

The position, and the confines..

The location was pretty far off from major attractions or spots in Tokyo except for the Skytree, but we really appreciated the neighbourhood for how quiet it was unlike the bustling city. The place was a 3 min walking dist to Oshiage Station and that made travelling to different parts of Tokyo relatively easy. The space provides futons but we had to prepare it ourselves, and while we had a hard time it was very comfortable and cosy. It had a washing machine which is always a plus for us.
I found it funny that the sink is way over in the other corner of the room when the toilet is on the opposite side of the apartment. I didn't use it because right below were electrical outlets but it provides a sort of vanity table to put my make-up and facial products.

Only six minutes from Skytree. Very cosy. Washing machine made life easier. Bathtub is superb, just like a private sento.
You will need to climb up a steep and narrow staircase before entering the flat, so take that in mind.
No beds, so if you have a bad knee, like I do, you might struggle getting up.

The property was located about 10min walk from Skytree/Oshiage station. The host was responsive and handled all the check-in process before we arrived. The instructions to enter were clear and we didn’t have issues with it. The room was clean and airy.
The futons were folded when we arrived and we had to make our futons. My friends were not familiar with the bedsheets and blanket.

far from all of the train stations, took a long time to walk to and from.
I wish the futons were made for us when we got there, like having the sheets put on, getting ready for bed was a hassle.

It's a lovely residential location, well connected without being too crowded.
The self check-in is easy and straightforward. Good instructions are provided.
The facilities are basic but they do what they say on the tin.
The futons are nice and supportive. I slept fine on the tatami.
It has a lovely bathroom. We very much enjoyed soaks in the tub after long days on the town.
A few nitpicks :
One tap (for hand and face washing and teeth brushing) was absolutely useless. There is an excellent bathroom but since it's a Japanese style shower and bath in one cabin (which I love) you can't really brush your teeth in there or quickly wash your hands. Kitchen tab works fine though.
A bit more cutlery would have been nice (bring your own chopsticks!).
The downstairs flat didn't have as much natural light as shown in the picture (which I'm guessing is the upstairs one)
We needed to give some of the cutlery a fresh wash before using.
One serious point:
The pillows are extremely thin and flimsy. We ended up going to Donki to buy replacements.

It’s a small apartment with a complete facilities. plus, the size of the “small” apartment is actually pretty big for two people. It’s very easy to access from Oshiage station and i just love the neighbourhood. the house is with tatami floor which is a bonus!
Nothing really but just that they do not provide you with iron clothes. Other than that, there’s nothing that i don’t like about this place

10 minutes walk to Tokyo Skytree (Oshiage Sta.). Great for 2, we had enough space, very clean, comfy futons. Quiet neighbourhood. I would reccomend it.

Location is fantastic as near 10 mins walk to Skytree n Solamachi. We also walked to other side Olinas mall which is 17 mins distance.
Futons are comfortable except pillows are too thin. Good to change to thicker ones :)
