The sun city resort is a great property with many pools, slides and facilities and right on the tram line and walkable to surfers! Beware however that the property being booked is a private sublet rental NOT the hotel themselves despite being on Expedia which means no housekeeping, reception support, different check in times etc. owner didn’t want to meet to give key as it was late (8pm) despite mentioning checkin was until 9. Owner makes you meet him outside in park and whisks you past reception which was a little suspect. Recommend if arriving late book direct (official reception is until 11pm) room offered was in okay condition but a little run down, dirty socks underbed, no milk in fridge, dust in places but an okay place to stay, again for same price suggest booking direct with hotel vs a sublet.

I don’t like this hotel because what ever show in photos online not exactly the same I book online but doesn’t tell me what level they give level 2 and plus I don’t see any beach in front my window all buildings was in front of me and very warm inside of room I came to enjoy holiday but not happy

Host May very obliging and efficient in communications with us. Unfortunately we were very near maintenance work being carried out which was disruptive for a whole day; safe in room not working. We did overall enjoy Mantra Sun City ! Thanks

Overall it was a great experience. From start to finish it was an easy process to check in and check out. The host was there to greet me in the lobby and was very welcoming. The room was very well kept and very well maintained. The location is perfect if you want to go for a walk down the beach. Tram station is juet outside the building. Only a few minutes drive to Pacific Fair. Overall it was a great experience from start to finish and i would happily stay here again.

We liked the resort facilities . Did not like the bed, it smelt of urine and did not like not being able to utilise the facilities after check out as the person managing the room wanted the key back at 10am

Excellent facilities pools, spas, tennis court. Practically walk out door to tram not far to beach. The owner very friendly and accessible.

The Hotel has a lovely sandstone entrance. Trams are very easy to access from the hotel (station is right out the side gate) The room is neat and tidy with a balcony. The shower and bed are very good. The only idea I had, which would make the room even better for me would be to have cold, filtered water in the room. Also the paintings in the corridor/ hallway of the hotel on the level the room is on are rather spooky. I would stay again without hesitation. Thank you.

this was an awesome destination, perfect for you and a partner or friend. gorgeous place, in the heart of surfers paradise also. definitely recommend!

Nice and clean to city

Awesome stay. Shower was amazing just a little shy of hot water for two Showers, but overall perfect. Tram Station just out the back of the apartment and just a few stops before surfers paradise around 5mins. Beach is a stones throw away also from apartment,. The amenities were lovely could easily spend the day chilling by the pool's etc..With the beautiful sun sets from our balcony, a perfect end to the day. Love to buy the place but we have a big family now. Definitely stay here again and again as some family & friends live this way. 10 out of 10.

I booked what Wotif picture showed, not the one which is now in the picture, the original picture had a big room with half sized kitchen, not a microwave in a cupboard, very ordinary, no kitchenette, no carpet, very very tiny Nice and clean and tidy just the smallest motel room I’ve ever stayed in We were able to check in early which was a bonus

May’s apartment is so clean and comfortable with a great shower. It’s handy to everything Gold Coast. Great stay.

I had a few issues with key not working and thought the photos were a little nicer than the actual room however location was good and they took care of issue promptly. I would stay there again
