It’s a family owned rustic hotel, very clean and cosy. The owners are very attentive. You could hear cow’s bells near buy, which I found very relaxing. Common bathrooms were very clean. The breakfast was wonderful

Wi-fi was great in the lobby, but was spotty in our room, but honestly I didn’t care. It was great to disconnect and enjoy the nature

Nice and quiet location to walk around on Rigi. You can wake up to cows Walking in front of your window. Easy to reach by train and the staff is very friendly.

It’s an absolutely charming mountain hotel - with excellent location and extremely friendly staff.

The hotel is not only located in the nature, but is itself very natural: eco-friendly, offers fair trade products in the restaurant. The owners are a great welcoming family. The house is old but very well maintained and atmospheric.

- Before arrival I received an e-mail to let me know that I ought to bring warm cloths (end of May) as snow & bad weather is in the forecast. - Warm welcome at arrival with explanation of hotel layout and rules about wearing hiking gear and places to store it to not spread the muck on the upper level floors. - Close proximity to the Railway station and Hiking possibilities for all fitness levels right from the door step. - Breakfast buffet, which is included in room rate, is plentiful and diverse (cereal, fresh natural yogurt, fresh fruits, cheese, bread, coffee, milk, tea, hot/cold chocolate, water, orange juice) - Reasonable pricing for food and drinks if you eat lunch and/or supper at the hotel - In your room you get a detailed sheet with explanations and hints about the quirks and perks of this hotel

Nothing to complain about :) For other travelers, you just need to be aware that you don't book a standard hotel
