Great communication with the host allowed for easy check in and out. The location is great, only a walk to downtown Helen, and still have immediate access to the river. The only issues we faced were the TV in the downstairs bedroom went out on us while we were there and a few nails on the porch are a little high that could prove to be something to watch for with barefoot little ones.

We very much enjoyed this lovely little cabin. Everything about it was perfect. It has the feel of a cabin in the woods with the river running behind in, but the walk-ability of in-town living. Check-in and out was easy, the owners very responsive and friendly, the accommodations were exactly what we needed. We will return!

We have stayed at this cabin 6 times over the years. It is as clean and new looking as it was the very first time.
The river being right there is so wonderful. The neighborhood is quiet but just a block and a half walk and you're in downtown Helen.
The house keeping is amazing and the owner is so very nice and always there if needed.
We will be back again for stay #7.

My sister and I booked this cabin for a quick getaway sister trip to Helen. Place was perfect! Walking distance to everything downtown, comfortable house. Very comfortable beds! I can see why others rent this house on a repeat basis. Highly recommend!

Cute little cabin tucked away for peace and quiet but close enough to walk everywhere in Helen. Perfect location for plenty of hiking. Cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved watching the river flow while sitting on our balcony.

The house was exactly as advertised. The woods like setting made you feel like you were out in the country when in fact, we were a very short walk to downtown Helen. We had a great time and plan to stay there again.

Great cabin on the River! Very clean, walking distance to about everywhere, downtown. Even though it is close to downtown, it is still very private and just far enough away from the hustle. We are already looking forward to another stay here!

The cabin was beautiful and its proximity to the water and town is perfect! Much time was spent on the deck and in the water just people watching! Most relaxing trip we've had in a long time. My only suggestion for the owner is to trim the bushes down to the river. They obscure the view. This is especially true in the summer months.

My husband and I booked this property to stay in while our kids were at the Winshape camp close by. It was perfect! almost every afternoon we would go down to the river in the backyard and sit and watch the tubers go by. We felt like we were in a very private area, yet walking distance to everything. The owners were very easy to communicate with and super nice. We look forward to staying there again next summer.

We enjoyed a wonderful trip to Helen, Georgia. While staying in our cabin with a view of the beautiful river we were only steps away from shopping, restaurants, tubing and fishing fun. Our only regret was we wish we could have stayed longer. We will visit again soon.

We so enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The location was perfect, just a short walk in to town. The cabin had everything you needed to cook or grill.
The back porch was so relaxing and had a treed view of river.

This was our first time to visit Helen and we wanted a cabin or house instead of a motel room. This cabin was perfect. It was very clean with comfortable seating area and comfortable beds. The porch overlooking the river was so inviting and relaxing. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the short walk to town to shop, eat, or buy food items at the local grocery store. We would highly recommend this cabin and hope to get back for another stay in the future! The owner was very responsive to all our questions.

Our Christmas stay was fantastic thanks to this wonderful waterfront home, tastefully decorated for the season. Our host was extraordinarily responsive during the extreme cold snap (single digits!) and did his utmost to keep the heating and pipes operational. The house is perfect for a large group and had everything we needed. The "elder accessible" nature of the home was a huge help for the grandparents. Very quiet area and horses across the street were lovely. Town is right around the corner, literally. Couldn't be better. Thanks for making our family gathering a success!

The cabin is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The walk to town was delightful and proved to be a great location. The Chattahoochee flowing just feet away was relaxing and an incredible plus. The stay was perfect, relaxing, and so enjoyable.

The cabin was one of the best we’ve stayed in. It was clean, perfect amenities, very nice atmosphere, beautiful grounds. We enjoyed it very much. I’m a pretty picky person when it comes to vacation rentals but I was completely happy with this cabin.
We only had a couple issues…. Loose towel racks that would fall easily and sink that didn’t drain well but these were minor

My husband, son and I have stayed in this cabin for three years in a row now. We love it. It is spotless and the owner is so easy to work with. It’s close enough to walk to downtown Helen but far enough away to feel secluded and private. Can’t say enough great things about this sweet cabin in the woods that my little family has grown to love over the years. Would look forward to our stay every year.
