the old mumasan who runs the place was very nice and had a cute smile. she spoke no English, but a guest helped out. if you are looking for an old style Japanese accommodation , with futons etc then this is the place to stay, not too far from Nrita airport

A little further from the airport than what I expecting, so carfare was expensive.

The Staff was very friendly and super helpful, even helped with transport back to the airport. Close to the airport and real japanese local feel to the hotel and area

if you are looking for a real Japanese spirit accomodation around Narita airport, Masugataya Ryokan is definitely what you are looking for ! The house is run by a local couple very helpful and kind, you'll find all what you need: family vibes, traditional atmosphere and warm hospitality. Easily reachable from Narita airport by shuttle bus which takes only 10 minutes to drive you over and get you off a few steps away from the door.

Amazing installations, Japanese style, close to airport, the couple who owns it are adorable, they even provide a ride to the airport, we even received a goodbye gift,,
