Great location with good views

A very nice apartment with everything you will need for your stay. Very quiet, nice pool and a 10 minute walk to the beech shops and restaurants .

Waited in a que of 200 plus for a taxi finally got to resort to be met by owner who was nice.apartment was also nice ,abit of a hike up some stepsbut great view once there.we had a lovelly 2 weeks and cant fault the apartment,woud stay again

Everything was great. My boyfriend and i could work with two laptops in separated rooms without problems. Must taste the Tapas down the street.

Great communication from Michela and a great location - the property is slightly tired but had everything I could need and definitely great value for money so all-in-all very pleased with my stay!

Great location near to the beech and the nightlife. Pool is nice size but could do with some sun loungers to lie on. The sea view from the balcony is lovely so nice to see that at breakfast every morning. Overall I would recommend staying in this apartment.

My husband and I stayed in this apartment over Christmas 2019. We had lovely weather and the sun shone on the balcony until around 3pm each day. Communication with the owner & manager in resort was excellent and any problems swiftly ironed out. The apartment had most things you required except there was very few plug sockets & none in the bedroom so we were unable to plug in mossie machines & consequently got bitten many times. Winter is not a time for mozzies but they follow me! I get bitten at home so its essential for me when I go away winter or summer to protect myself. A couple of fans would have been useful too as the sun shone into the apartment from early morning until mid-afternoon. The biggest problem for us (me actually) was all the steps up to the apartment. The apartment information says it is on the 1st floor – but, what it doesn't tell you is, that there are 28 steep steps up into the hillside to the 'level' where the entrance to the apartment is then another 16 steps up to the apartment. I have chronic arthritis in my knees and hips and found the steps quite difficult. I had to lean on the flower bed walls going up & down all the steps as there were no handrails making the journey doubly difficult. We have visited the Atalaya complex a few times and had 1st floor apartments but never to the part on the complex this apartment is situated. In retrospect I should have double checked how many steps with the owner but didn't but just want to make any other visitor aware of them especially if you have a mobility issue or small children - getting a pushchair up and down would be just as problematic. Luckily my husband was able to negotiate the steps with our cases albeit hard work - but had I been with another female friend we would have struggled big time. There was another exit on the ‘level’ along from the apartment but none of the keys we were given unlocked the gates. Having keys for these gates and negotiating the few steps to outside the complex would have been a God send. On the plus side the views from the apartment are spectacular and colourful and if steps weren't a problem for me I would definitely booth the apartment again.

Would highly recommend this apartment. Location excellent as is the quality of the apartment. All communication with Michela from start to finish was quick and efficient.

Just spent 10 days at the atalaya apartments great location 2 mins from main strip very clean English channels on tv washing machine iron hair dryer .Very quiet complex had a few small problems with balcony light not working and outside light not working contacted the owner michela who responded immediately and sorted it out the apartment is a top floor apartment with fabulous views of the beach all in all a great stay

This was our third time renting from Michela & honestly cannot fault a single thing. We stayed in apt 236 this time & from point of enquiry until leaving everything was 10/10. It really does feel like coming home each time. Jessica met us for check in & explained what to do with the keys on departure day. As always clean & nice quality bed linen, we always ask for extra pillows but thats a personal choice. There's not a fan in this apartment but we knew this in advance & arranged hire of 1. Pool is cleaned every morning except Sunday & complex is always clean/tidy. Apartment has an excellent location as bang in the middle between Matagorda & the harbour. There is a huge Spar next door & a lovely small Italian restaurant next door to that which does lovely takeaways. I honestly cant wait to return, the sooner the better. Again thank you Michela xx

My good lady and I have just enjoyed a nice quiet and relaxing weeks holiday in Michela's lovely apartment. I was a bit aprehensive about doing foreign bank transfers but got our bank in the Uk to set it up with the details Michela supplied and it all went through ok. Michela sent confirmation of receipt as soon as she received the transfer. On arrival in Lanzarote we called Jessica the housekeeper and she waiting for us on arrival at the apartment with the keys. Jessica showed us round and left us the keys which go back in the lock box at the apartment door when you depart. The apartment is typically Spanish and has everything you need for a nice quiet break away. Importantly it was very clean and fresh, and the towels were heavy & good quality compared to some we have had in the past. The seat cushions for the balcony were also appreciated. There is a drawer with spare bulbs , batteries etc which we didn’t need but good to know it was there. The free to use safe box and washing machine were also useful although we didn’t need the machine on our stay. The double bed ( two singles together with double protector and sheets and duvet was extremely comfortable compared to some of the beds in recent places we have stayed. At this time of year the sun was on the balcony from 7.30am till after 2pm, a great wee sun Trap! There is also tv and Wi-fi available , passwords etc are on back of the router. There is also a two ring hob and microwave which we never used during our stay. The only other thing I can think of that would have been useful would be an oven as we may have then stayed in with a pizza or two one night, but can’t think of anything else. The complex itself is very quiet but nicely maintained, you have a key for the front complex door as reception is unmanned. The pool man spent a fair bit of time each day cleaning etc, although we only sunbathed there in late afternoon. The pool is fenced off and you don’t have a key but just reach over the gates and turn the lock open from the inside ( I tried our keys first before I realised !) All in all we had a great week here and would definitely check availability with Michela 1st next time we intend to come to Lanzarote! Our thanks to Michela for a lovely week. Our favourite Spanish eatery , we like plain food, was El Bodegan de Luna just round the corner on the strip at bottom of the Cale Pedro Barba road, excellent Tapas and evening meals and very reasonable. Thanks again.

We were a retired couple visiting Puerto del Carmen for the first time. This lovely apartment made a good base to visit the area from. It came equipped with everything we needed, and there were even some books in the cupboard. The shop was only round the corner. The only negative was a lot of steps up to the property, as I have breathing difficulties, but everything else was lovely. We went in March and it was Carneval which was fun! Good communication with Michela and Ivan who looks after the property both very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

The apartment was really fantastic, it is well equipped and furnished to a high standard and it’s location close to the main strip was perfect. We had a lovely view of the sea from our balcony and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Puerto de Carmen.

We did not get off to the best of starts,we were given the wrong contact number. The property is a good size and has all that you require. Bedroom & storage space very good. Entrance dirty and smells of cats and first appearances not good. Inside was clean but it requires a more severe clean and the woodwork requires painting. Good size balcony and faces morning sun, in February sun disappears mid afternoon and temperature also drops. Balcony also smells of cats, cheap furniture not comfy. All appliances work ok,washing machine easy,toaster,kettle and hairdryer also good. TV very poor, 19" in this day and age???. no directions on how to find channels,cannot see picture during daytime and sound not clear. No real problem for us as we are not TV fanatics. WiFi very good signal, connection instructions were wrong so we used information from "router". Our friends were staying on the same complex and their property was far superior and also at the same price. We did enjoy our stay and we thank Michela for allowing us to use her appartment. Except for the screaming cats night and day. The apartment had a fabulous view which we loved. It had had advertised a DVD player and digital TV. unfortunately there was only a CD player and the only English channel was Sky News. We had chosen this apartment so that we could spend a couple of evenings chilling, watching TV as we were there for 10 days. Apart from this everything else was good. Information on the complex amenities would be beneficial e.g. how to dispose of rubbish.

Property was clean, tidy and well furnished. Excellent location, 5 mins walk to promenade.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday this weekend based in this lovely apartment. We were greeted by Ivan on our arrival which was a perfect start to a perfect stay. The apartment had every amenity required - and more. I forgot my hairdryer and lo and behold - there was one provided in the apartment. The free wi-fi and satellite TV channels were also appreciated. It is a 2 minute walk down into the Main Street which has a fantastic choice of bars and restaurants. There is also a Spar shop a mere minute’s walk away. For more shopping there is a shopping centre a 15 minute stroll away. The communications with the owner were excellent. As our flight was a bit later in the evening we requested a late check out which was granted without any issue. Everything was fantastic from beginning to end and I would have no hesitation in requesting to stay here again.

Perfect holiday apartment with everything that you need provided for you. Lovely view from the balcony - really enjoyed our stay. We locked our keys in the apartment and they were really helpful as well. Hope to visit again

nice and relaxing

We stayed in this apartment after reading the amazing reviews, and we were not disappointed located down a side street it is very quiet and has a friendly atmosphere, we found the pool is plenty big enough and we had no problem getting sunbeds.If you go down the street 2 mins walk you are right on the front with all the shops, restaurants and bars you could wish for and from there its about a 20 min walk to the lovely sandy beaches.We also found the communication between us and the owner michela was fantastic he guided us through everything from payment to transfers and always replied to any questions we had while we were there.I would highly recommend this appartment and we are looking to go back next year.

Spacious, well maintained apartment. Excellent view of the sea and the surrounding area. Lovely clean surroundings and pool. Five minute walk from the seafront and the shops, bars and restaurants. Local Spar just 2 minutes away. Excellent facilities in the apartment from free wifi, sun parasol, sunbed cushions to washing machine. Well stocked with pots, pans, crockery and utensils plus other appliances we weren't expecting. Excellent communication from the owner at every turn-couldn't fault anything and can't wait to go back :-).

Just arrived home from a wonderful holiday, having the pleasure of stopping in this adorable apartment. It is ideally located being just next door to a supermarket and 5 minutes away from the beach, bars and restaurants. The apartment has all you need from the main essentials for comfortable living, even down to cool bags and sunbed covers. The pool area was ideal and quiet. I would highly recommend this lovely little apartment.

I spent an excellent week at Michela's place. The flat is situated on the top floor of a complex with many holiday flats, mostly owned by foreigners. It is well kept with all facilities needed for a nice holiday. And it is quiet at night. Michela answered mails quickly and sent me proper receipts during payment, which is very good. I was also well received by the housekeeper Daniele, who was available on phone or mail if needed. I will be happy to come back.
