This is truly a unique hotel - a clear four star bordering on a 5. It’s unique design and use of space needs to be seen to be believed! The accommodation is immaculately presented with all modern amenities including a choice of lighting colours for the shower. Matera’s wonderful attractions in its ravines are only a short walk away and the breakfast arrangement at the nearby café is lovely … also has availability for private parking for additional €15 a 5 min walk away. The owner was very helpful with his detailed local knowledge of Matera and it’s surroundings and personally helped me change a flat tyre on the day of departure! Delightful, would definitely opt to say again next time in Matera…grazie di tutto!

Very clean and new. Everything worked perfectly. Tasteful interior. Nicest and most helpful host. I would recommend this place.

Genaro was a wonderful host, he even parked our car for us after a stressful first day driving in Italy. He was full of tips and information to help us make the most of our visit to this fascinating city, including maps and a booklet.

The host was kind and generous to share instant local tips of finding various kind of food, while many restaurants were full in this public holiday. Lovely interior design and “disco lights” above the shower.

Our room had a door which looked almost as same as the entrance, so some people attempted to open and knock it. Our room was on the ground floor and near a pub. There were some people lingered and spoke loud right outside our room.
