The resort was great, the staff was amazing. No fault of the resort but I wish I had more time to enjoy the activities available to the guest. I decided to extend my day an additional day and my contact was on point and quick to help me with my stay. I will stay there again!

The room was back in a dark corner and our neighbors were extremely loud. At 11pm I called to complain as we had to be up early. Security told them it was us who complained which made it worse with yelling at us and banging on our door throughout the night. Didn’t feel safe.
Amenities were not close to room and not worth it.

You get what you pay for, I guess, but I will never go back. What the listing doesn’t tell you is they will try to schedule you for a pitch. Maybe it was just our unit, but at any given moment, you could hear the family in the next unit that we shared the conjoined room door with, the cars parking and leaving, the cleaning service talking, the interstate traffic, garbage trucks, random guests walking by, you name it. Not enough parking so we always felt rushed to get back to get a parking spot near our building. Too far away to walk to any of the amenities but couldn’t take the car because we wouldn’t get a spot even close to it building. Maybe this would be worth it if it was on a beach, but it was not worth it.

I will not book another stay with Vrbo. I am suppose to get reimbutsed from work but VRBO and property manager both refuse to give me an invoice of my payement I made. I called them about 5 times. Spent countless hours on the phone with both and still refuse to isssue an invoice l like any other normal business. Now my work can't reimburse me for this business trip stay. This is the last time I stay in vrbo property!! In addition, the people in the suite above me were having a party it took 3 phone calls and 3 hrs (finally at until 2 am they stopped) for the front desk to send security and tell them to stop. Not worth the money or stay!!!! Aweful experience !!

The property is everything you could ask for with amenities, activities and definitely kid friendly. The unit was spotless and had everything you could want to cook and comfort level was amazing.
Dealing with check in at the resort was a total hassle but I had Jake our property manager's phone number and when we experienced trouble I called him and within 15 minutes he had contacted the main desk and the problem was solved. Thank you, Jake!
Another issue was parking. Unfortunately there are more units than parking spots and if you come in later in the evening you will not find a spot. During the day, coming and going is not an issue. Our work around at night was Uber! Worked perfectly and allowed us to not have to drive and deal with traffic and secured our parking spot at night. Rates were reasonable and had great drivers each time.
Even with these two semi negative comments nothing took away from the incredible unit and the fact that we would definitely return!!

Very large space! Photos are stock photos however we were pleased with the accomodations. Outdated furnishings but overall great quality and comfy bed. Close to lots of dining and shopping.

Lovely spacious apartment with large bedroom, bath, living room, dining area and kitchen. Nice resort facilities include pools, tennis/pickleball courts, mini golf and bowling. All seems well-maintained. The water park was closed for maintenance during our stay.
Our only criticism is that the kitchen had the bare minimum of supplies: no cooking knives, measuring spoons, serving dishes, salt or pepper. Only four sets of dining utensils. It would be nice to have a bit more to support cooking in.

The Villa was absolutely beautiful and so were the views. The whole resort was everything you would want at a resort. The spa was amazing who doesn’t love a good massage right. The restaurants to the market place and a really nice size arcade. Can’t say enough. Everything was absolutely perfect. We will definitely be back. Thanks for everything, Sharyn

Great place but no shuttles to the parks
The resort was very nice, the room was nice, however super disappointed to find out there were no shuttles to the parks as stated in the description. We did not get a rental because of this and it made it difficult to get around.

They had to come back three times with a different part to fix the Jacuzzi while I had to wait and lose a half a day of vacation

Relaxing and roomy place to stay.
Overall it was a nice place to stay. It wasn't in the middle of the hustle and bustle of of the city. The property offered everything anyone would need. There was security monitoring incoming vehicles and driving through the property regularly (not that it seemed needed). The room was spacious and had everything, including an amazing view and spacious screened patio. Hardly heard anyone in the surrounding rooms. Easy access to the freeway and surrounding activities and theme parks.
Our cons:
Check in was so busy and extremely loud. It's like everyone showed up at the same time. It is a large resort, with only one check in area. We were also disappointed that the lazy river and waterslide area is only free for owners, everyone else had to pay the entry fee.

This place had it all, and even though we didn’t get to enjoy all the amenities, we were very comfortable in a room. The location was great! We would definitely stay here again!!!

Fantastic stay
We came for an event at the Orange County Convention center and loved how easy the commute was. There is so much to do on this property and I also enjoyed the fact that the management team gave as an option on which floor we wanted our room on. We will definitely be back

Great home away from home in Orlando
I was a little nervous about renting this place because it is in West Gate which is a timeshare. However, I only had one person call before hand to ask if I was interested, told him No and then was not bothered again. When we checked in we asked for a room in building 60 because our friends are owners of timeshare there and that's where they were staying. The room was PERFECT! Clean, spacious, full kitchen, spa bathroom and HUGE jazuzzi jet tub for TWO! The view of the lake was outstanding. In the hustle and bustle of Orlando, this was a serene getaway. Also, very pet friendly with a nice walking trail and plenty of grass. I highly recommend staying here!

Over crowded
This resort is over crowded. There were long lines to check in. The room was located far away from any of the pools. The guests next door were up late playing music and talking loud. The room its self is nice, but I will not be booking a vacation at Westgate Lakes Resort ever again.

Convenient and comfortable
After a rocky check in process when my name was listed incorrectly on the reservation the remainder of the stay was very comfortable. Nice size 1 bedroom unit. The layout of the bathroom was rather odd for getting multiple people ready at the same time. Unfortunately paper thin walls led to hearing neighbors above, next door, and in the hallway regularly as well as some very loud guests on their patio one night. But not the fault of the property owner. The king bed was comfortable and it was great to have dishes and a washer and dryer. We had an event at the Convention Center and it was pretty close and went to SeaWorld one day which was very close. A number of restaurants nearby as well. For the price we'd stay again.
