As soon as we walked into the building with our room, the overwhelming scent of body odor hit us. Then as we got off the elevator on the 5th floor, the only thing you could smell was marijuana. At first we thought it might just be someone passing by, but the smell was still there hours later. The toilet seat had what I can only assume was pubic hair on the seat, and the dishes in the room were barely clean. What was suppose to feel like a nice resort felt more like a motel 6. We decided to check out the same night and explained to the lady at the front desk what the issues were, to which she brushed it off without a care making it seem like it is common for people to have complaints on this level. I would not now or ever recommend staying at this “resort” especially with how much it cost per night.

Check in was long but it was a veteran's weekend. Rooms need to be upgrade but it was clean. Arcade, restaurant, store, bowling and mini golf was a plus.

A great value-oriented option to stay need the convention hotels in the area. Staff was friendly and the property was very well kept. Id definitely choose them again.

Westgate Resort is absolutely amazing, attractive, relaxing, fun, with the most helpful and friendly staff that goes above and beyond for a Wonderful experience 2nd time there and planning more.

The bed was very comfortable but the room itself was very dated and run down. Light switches were filthy (see picture), screen on the balcony was dry rotted. It was hard to sleep with the pool lights shining in through the Venetian blinds and kids screaming around the pool until late at night. The Drafts sports bar was great!

I had stayed here before a couple of years ago and loved it, but did not have a good experience this time around.The bathtub was dirty and there was hair all over the place. It did not appear rugs had been vacuumed either. The staff mainly in waterpark area by the pools were very rude to guests.

I had problems with guests in the rooms beside me partying and being loud after 11pm. I did not like how the resort went cash free.

I love the westgate

You dont need to leave they have everything. Restaurants grocery store. Lots of fun thinks to do

second time being here and will go back!

Me and my friends stayed her for 4 days and we loved it..staff are friendly and the amenities around here is nice. Our favourite is the little island that you can sit and watch the nice view. I highly recommended this place, i will come back here for sure..

The room had a missing jet in the tub. The mirrored trim on the one wall side of the tub was damaged. There was some smootz of some kind on the balcony screen. The sliding glass door for the balcony wasn't sound proof so you heard most of the commotion outside and the track was warped/deformed so it was difficult to open and close. They have zero shuttles to the parks. You can't eat at their cafeteria unless you go on their time share tour/presentation. (Not even for a price.) I'm guessing if you don't buy in you can't eat there after that either, even if you complete the tour. They will give you a $75 coupon for doing the tour to use at one of their onsite facilities, almost nothing is free there. (I didn't do the tour.) The shower drain cover was not secure at all and when I moved it aside there was black scum of some kind underneath. The shower door had rust on the bottom corners inside. There was no ice machine. You had to buy ice from thier market if you didn't want to travel for it. Half the music tracks in the common areas were too melancholy/depressing to me. I spent about a day and a half arguing with them at the beginning of my vacation until they finally gave me my resort fee back. Needless to say I won't be staying there in the future. I have pictures of pretty much everything in the room.

I wish more of the pool bars were open and I wish parking was easier.
