Vous pourriez y flâner de longues heures et y vivre à la Niçoise.
Son emplacement est central et unique, tout en étant à deux minutes à pied du bord de mer de la célèbre Promenade des Anglais et des plus belles plages privées et publiques de Nice.
L’arrêt du tramway se trouve à quelques minutes de l'appartement et offre un accès facile aux autres parties de la ville.

Situé en plein coeur du Vieux Nice, notre apartement est situé dans le quartier le plus authentique et le plus dynamique de la ville, tout en étant à 2 mn à pied de la célèbre Promenade des Anglais et des plages.
Entièrement rénové et avec des équipements haut de gamme, cet appartement spacieux de 3 chambres, 2 salles de bains et une toilette indépendante, est entièrement air-conditionné et est idéal pour une famille ou un petit groupe d'amis.
Bien que l’entrée de l’immeuble soit face à l’emblématique Palais de la Préfecture de la ville de Nice, nos chambres donnent sur la rue de l’Abbaye et de la rue St Vincent. loin du brouhaha des bars et des restaurants et nous avons la très rare chance de pouvoir offrir à nos vacanciers des nuits de sommeil paisible.
Nous avons décoré l'appartement avec une attention très particulière aux détails: parquet, lustres et miroirs et nous avons choisi les équipements avec la plus grande attention. Nos matelas et linge de maison sont de qualité hôtellerie, la cuisine est italienne et tous ses équipements De Dietrich et Bosch.

La grande pièce à vivre est large et spacieuse, avec une très belle hauteur sous plafond et des hautes fenêtres afin de vous offrir d’agréables moments de détente.
Chaque meuble a été méticuleusement choisi et notre cuisine neuve, très haut de gamme, entièrement équipée avec un grand plan de travail est une véritable invitation à cuisiner.

CUISINE
Le beau parquet se détache sur l'élégante cuisine blanche. Tout plan ouvert, il a un espace de comptoir et beaucoup de rangement pratique. L'îlot de cuisine attaché se double d'un bar à manger immaculé, avec six tabourets de bar.
La cuisine comprend un grand réfrigérateur et congélateur américain, quatre plaques de cuisson à gaz, un four, un four micro-ondes et un lave-vaisselle.
Les installations comprennent un lave-linge et un sèche-linge séparé. Ceux-ci peuvent être trouvés commodément nichés dans la buanderie séparée, avec un lavabo.
CHAMBRES ET SALLES DE BAIN
Les trois chambres disposent de l’air-conditionne qui est réglable indépendamment dans chaque pièce, d’un très beau parquet "chevrons", de hauts plafonds et de grandes fenêtres à double vitrage. Des tons relaxants sont présents dans chaque chambre et de somptueux matelas et draps de qualité hôtelière sont la touche finale pour rendre votre séjour aussi confortable que possible.
La chambre 1 est équipée d'un lit King size (180x200cm), la chambre 2 d’un lit Queens size (160x200cm) et la 3eme chambres à coucher a deux lits jumeaux (90x200cm) qui peuvent être réunis pour former un vrai lit King size. Cette flexibilité nous permet d'accueillir confortablement des familles ou groupes d’amis.
Deux salles de bains et une toilette indépendante: les deux salles de bain sont équipées de douches et une d’entre elle dispose d’une baignoire également.
Un starter pack de savon, gel douche, shampoing et crème pour le corps organique est préparé pour chaque invité.
Buanderie indépendante: un lave-linge, un sèche-linge.

Very well situated apartment in the heart of Vieux Nice. We arrived early, but the host was able to accommodate us. When we arrived, the internet wasn’t working but they immediately got a wireless hotspot in place, which worked perfectly for the length of our stay. The appliances all worked well, and the space was sufficient for all of us to be comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring Vieux Nice - mere steps from daily markets and a very wide range of restaurants. It’s also a very short, pleasant walk from the Promenade des Anglais. We recommend it and would stay here again.

We stayed for 3 weeks in October 2023 and cannot recommend the apartment highly enough. It was extremely well appointed with plenty of kichen utensils/crockery, great towels, comfortable beds and great bed linen. The air conditioning was fantastic as was the ability to open windows on cooler days. The added benefit of a seperate washer and dryer for clothes was amazing.
For us one of the outstanding features was the perfect location - close to the beach, near the fresh food market, surrounded by amazing shops and restaurants and with easy access to the tram and train which made it a great base for exploring areas out of Nice.

Overall very good, the host was very good at communicating. The checkin process was a little bumpy due to us having many large bags and a rental car and driving down into Old Nice is very challenging. After a few days though, we were masters. The flat is nice with a large, updated kitchen and three nice bedrooms, and nice updated baths. It was so close to the very best places and the beach. The only negative is that there are loud partiers every night on the street below, and they often don't stop til morning. This is not the host's fault, just be aware. Overall a very nice place to stay.

The apartment is wonderful. Very well stocked and clean. We ordered (for an extra cost) food for when we arrived. It was great because we didn't have to hit a grocery store for much at all. There were fresh flowers and the washer and dryer AND Air Conditioning were key!! The kitchen could NOT have been equipped better. French Press and cappuccino maker!
Overall we felt completely comfortable and at home. The deep master bath tub was so relaxing. The location also couldn't be better, close to public transportation and 5 min walk to the beach.
The only few critiques I'll give is that I didn't feel like anyone was immediately available if something happened. It took a full day for a response from the company when I messaged. There are a couple of spots that look like black mold in the showers and ceilings. There are some floor boards coming up in the middle of the main traffic area that every person in our family stubbed their toes on. That needs to be repaired. The tv/internet is agonizingly slow. I know we are not there to watch the tv, but at the end of a busy the day it's great to sit back and relax to a fun show or movie. And finally, the complementary uber ride never happened. When we clicked the link for the ride, there was no driver available. They happily rebooked a ride back to the airport and hence, same thing. No show driver, we ended up booking our own rides both ways.

This is our 2nd stay at this property. Whilst we did have a few issues on check-in they were quickly attended to. The apartment is gorgeous and the location is perfect. As it is in the heart of the old town there is quite a bit of noise but that is to be expected. The apartment is surrounded by shops and restaurants - everything is at your doorstep.

This property was very conveniently located right in the heart of Old Town. The owners/managers provided everything one might need on a trip away from home. The comfortable beds and dreamy decor were the cherry on top at the end of every day.

Perfect Location, Lovely Apartment
This apartment is located in the heart of old town "vielle ville." The apartment is as depicted. The "hostess" was very prompt and responsive. We loved our stay and would definitely reserve this apartment again (and would recommend to friends).
Pros: Just outside the door is a wine shop, rotisserie with delicious prepared foods, cute shops, and cafes; around the corner is a fantastic cheese shop, shop making fresh pasta and sauces, coffee shop (Hobo), and great restaurants, bakery, daily market.
Comfortable beds.
Air condition works well (a note for Americans who like their AC super cold--in Europe it is not likely that you will get AC that cold, so manage expectations). We were completely comfortable with a top sheet and light blanket at night. The AC in the living area was fine as well.
Water pressure is good. We also used water from the sink to fill our water bottles and it was good.
Washer and dryer are separate, which is nice. Large drying rack and great iron/ironing board included.
Beach towels are provided (I think we had 6 or 7).
Very large apartment!
Cons: elevator at level 1, so you must take stairs up one flight, then you can take the elevator up one more flight to the apartment which is on level 2 (the ground floor in Europe is known as 0). This was not an issue for us as the stairs were not steep, but for those with mobility issues, it could be.
Mildew/mold grows very fast in the bathroom shower floor (only the shower floor though). Upon our arrival, the floor of the shower had a lot of mold. I cleaned it, but it was growing back at the end of our one-week stay. I mentioned this to the host and they were responsive about the situation.
The water heater shuts off automatically at the main breaker. Guests need to monitor the breaker to make sure the heater hasn't flipped "off." The breaker panel is in the hallway, so it is easy to check on. This was a minor quirk. Any European apartment in an older part of town is likely to have some quirk, so this isn't a major issue. I just want to mention it, so guests are fully aware.
The dryer is ventless so it takes a while to dry laundry (sometimes several cycles for towels). Leave extra time if doing laundry.
You can hear street noise if people are rowdy in a couple of the bedrooms. Staying in old town, this is unavoidable. Just be aware (the queen bedroom was super quiet).
Once again, I would happily stay here again. The apartment is perfectly located.

This apartment was lovely and the location was amazing! We could walk to do many restaurants, shops, the opera, the tram, and the beach. We lived our stay and hope to return soon. The apartment was comfortable, beautiful, and the beds were comfortable also. We highly recommend the vrbo.

Beautiful property in a great location. Loved having the kitchen, washer/dryer and bathtub. Great showers with unbelievable water pressure and plenty of hot water. Just beware the area is loud at night so make sure you have ear plugs.

Fantastic stay and experience
This property was very clean, spacious and well maintained, perfect for my family of 4. The beds were very comfortable with decent size bathrooms. All expected utilities were included and in great condition. Old town Nice is a beautiful place and the property location is perfect in my opinion. My family and I were there on new years and it can get a little noisy at night but it was expected in such a popular area. I would highly recommend. Thanks!

That property was perfect for our family during the holidays. Perfect number of beds big family and kitchen so we could cook. Location was very noisy but was in a very accessible part of town.

Comfort and convience
We really loved our stay here. Very comfortable beds and bedding. Nice kitchen (we ate most dinners in). The location is great with easy access to the market, restaurants, public transit. Only one downside, the nighttime activity is very noisy. We solved by closing our windows and turning on the room and fan.

Nice – CRISTAL Apartment Review
Our stay in Nice was magical, but staying at Cristal made our stay even more magical. This was our 2nd year staying at Cristal and it was as beautiful as ever. We felt like we were staying at a 5-star hotel. There was so much attention to detail. The apartment was in a perfect location. It was close to the everything – the produce market, the sea and lots of shops and restaurants. Everyone we talked to before and during our stay were so helpful. Even when it rained, it was so nice to know that we could come “home” to the comfort of our apartment. Our one regret was that we didn't meet Myrna.

French chic.
Property was beyond amazing! Beautifully decorated and equipped with all you could need. Check in was amazingly easy from being picked up at the airport to being greeted by the assistant and led to the apartment. Pictures do not do it justice. Perfectly located in old Nice for restaurants and shopping and close to the beach. Owners have so much taste for decor. And to top it off they even arranged transportation to the airport. Would give this apartment ten stars if I could. Want to come back for a longer stay. Well done!!!

Beautiful!
This is a beautiful property. We stayed in three cities in Europe during our vacation, and this property, hands down, was the most comfortable one we stayed at. Comfortable beds, impeccably clean, plush linens, you name it, this place had it. We had a group of six, and there was plenty of room. It is in a great location, right in the heart of Nice's Old Town, but somehow remains quiet despite the hubbub on the streets below. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property, and highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay in Nice.

Home Away From Home!
What a lovely property. The location is perfect for a leisurely stay in Vieux Nice or for day trips along the Cote d'Azur.
Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by a delightful, gentlemen representing the property. He spent a great deal of time with my husband and myself thoroughly explaining the property and the local area.
The apartment is very spacious with sky high ceilings and every imaginable convenience for a week long stay. It is beautifully appointed
with many lovely touches such a fresh flowers, countless candles and home fragrances throughout.
The kitchen is well equipped with every imaginable appliance and a plethora of glass and tableware. There is room for six at the dining table with three additional bar stools. The American size refrigerator along with dishwasher and microwave made the kitchen complete.
The living room has comfortable seating for 5 with an entertainment system.
The bathrooms are large with modern showers and the bathtub in the master was a welcoming treat after a long day. The beds were extremely comfortable and cloud-like... not to mention the luxury bed linens!
Did I forget to mention the very convenient Bosh washer AND dryer?!
Also, a very important feature for me was the air conditioning unit(s) throughout the apartment. Each room was able to adjust to just the right temperature.
The apartment is conveniently located steps away from the
Cours Saleya, grocery store and many local eateries.
A walk to the Port of Nice was easy and stopping by Le Rocher for lunch or dinner is a must!
The trolly is an easy five minute walk with the train station only 4 stops away leading to amazing adventures!
Our stay at Cristal was the icing on the cake of our 2 week stay in France! Merci beaucoup! We look forward to our return.

Wonderful Apartment,absolutely amazing location!!
Just completed our stay at Cristal and it was really a wonderful experience! We had our son and daughter-in-law, my 84 year old mother, my husband and myself.
First, the check in process was so informative. Bogdan was very helpful in explaining the history as well as suggestions on things to do. The apartment was clean, well appointed, had a washer AND dryer which is rare in Europe. 3 bedrooms with luxury linens was such a welcome surprise!
The location was absolutely perfect! One block from Cours Saleya, and at every turn, fabulous restaurants with one of the best wine shops just half a block away.
The noise was the only caution. Because it is in such a great entertainment area, the noise level was fairly loud until the wee hours but a set of ear plugs helped tremendously. I would consider this apartment again regardless of that one issue because there were a lot of positive that out weighed that tiny issue.

Beautifully presented apartment, in a perfect location.
Straight out of the door into the winding streets of the old town. Bars, restaurants, cafes and shopping all within touching distance. The daily market just around the corner and the Promenade d'Anglais and the beach just 5 minutes walk away.
Buses and trams less than 10 minutes walk away.
All that said, you may never wish to leave this well-presented apartment with enough space to sprawl and relax.
Everything in it is of the highest quality; the bed linens and thick white towels are beautiful (it's a girl thing...); the beautiful decor too.
We were three women getting together for a catch-up; but I can equally see me using this apartment for my husband and I. There is definitely enough space for a family.
One of our party had a bit of trouble with the stairs and it should be noted that although there is a lift, it doesn't start until the first floor, which is 3-(very small) flights of stairs away. It was all still doable though.
As a fussy traveller (typically a 4 / 5 star hotel is my preference) I'll definitely return to this apartment; please don't hesitate yourself.

The Cristal apartment is a perfect home away from which to enjoy all Nice has to offer! The apartment is very well appointed and has everything you could possibly need to make you feel at home. It’s located just steps away from the amazing Saleya market and close to many great shops and restaurants, as well.

Beautiful apartment in old town
We stayed for five days/six nights in Cristal- three adults and two kids under 3. The apartment is gorgeous and spacious, located on a lovely street. Easy walking distance to the promenade for taking in those stunning ocean views.
Here are some our favorite things about the apartment:
-Spacious!
-Memory foam beds and pillows (except in the twin bed room - so if you prefer softer pillows there are four of them in there)
-the linens and towels that were provided were lovely
-Kitchen - beautiful!
-Plenty of seating
-Open floor plan
-Netflix
-Plenty of heating/cooling units
-very attentive property manager (we had a leak on a faucet that was fixed within a few hours from when we notified property manager and was fixed without any inconvenience to us)
Some points to consider:
-this is old town... old building... so noise from the street should be expected! Bring your earplugs or sound machines if you are light sleepers (surprisingly no sound carry between apartments or between floors of the apartments, which was nice)
-attached bath in the master suite (it is beautiful!) does not have toilet - but there are two toilets in the apartment.
-with three adults taking showers in the morning and often washing dishes in the morning we did run out of hot water on occasion.
-there is some waste odor from the lower level in the apartment building that comes in through the hall bath (unsure if this was just a ‘time of year’ thing or if the odor persists year round).
- there are some soft spots on the floors to be careful on (one spot is just below a step down from the hall and is difficult to avoid).
We truly enjoyed our stay in Nice and would recommend staying in Cristal.

Highlight of our trip to France, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Our stay at Cristal was absolutely superb. We stayed in off peak season but the apartment was a lovely warm haven to come home to after every day spent out adventuring. The apartment had been decorated for Christmas with beautiful splashes of red and silver, poinsettias on the table and it felt lovely and festive.
We stayed with our family of 4, including 2 teenage boys. It was a perfect set up, with my 17 year old staying in the bedroom in a different "wing". It was lovely and private for him to have his own space. The master bedroom was luxurious. The bed was AMAZING. My husband and I both have bad backs but our backs felt fantastic after a week at Cristal. (Then we came home to our $4000 Tempur mattress and back pain again). Management, please let me know what brand this bed was, it was awesome. The ensuite bathroom was spacious with a large shower and tub.
Kitchen facilities were excellent and the large fridge has perfect of space for what we needed. Couch was not that comfy but I quickly claimed the armchair so it was all good. Being able to wash clothes was a bonus.
To address a couple of points that were brought up in other guest reviews... yes, it was noisy but this apartment is right in the heart of Nice old town. You step out of the building door and you are right in the shopping precinct with markets, shops, trams, banks, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, everything you need close by. I would rate the location 5/5 and would not stay anywhere else in Nice... so I don't mind a 10 minute yahooing after closing time at the nearby bars. The bed is so comfy you will drift back to sleep in no time. Secondly, it looks like we were the next guests who stayed after the gentleman was unfortunately burgled. Diana's husband met us at check in and was extremely thorough, showing us very clearly how to engage the front door lock correctly. It was very strong and very secure and we took great care in locking it as shown and had no problems. Diana's husband also went through the public transport system with us, which was very helpful.
After 5 days exploring the local area we were still uncovering little shopping alleyways and sections we had not found previously. Our favourite things in the local area were the antiques market at Cours Saleya (I think this was a Monday), other days there is fruit & veg, flower market and artworks, the Apollo fountain (which we fondly nicknamed "Apollo's Butt") and Place Massena. Thank you for a perfect stay.

Great! Comfy, Well Appointed, & Good Location
We highly recommend this apartment in the heart of Nice. Well situated for walking and exploring the city. It is spacious, comfortable beds and soft linens. It was everything we hoped and were promised it would be. They Sunlight folks were helpful and friendly, too. Highly recommend!

Stunning Apartment in a superb location!
Our stay at Cristal could not have been better! Everything was absolutely perfect and the apartment was pristine. The Sunlight Properties agents were attentive and were on hand to help us with anything we needed, from restaurant bookings to taxi transfers. It was so nice to not have to think about anything over the holidays. 🙂
The location was amazing - right in the centre of everything with amazing restaurants on the doorstep. The Bistrot d’Antoine was our personal favourite. Book early!
We didn’t find the apartment noisy at all, compared to other places we have stayed in Nice. All the bedrooms were very comfortable with high quality linen. A treat, really.
We felt comfortable from start to finish, like if we were staying at a 5 stars hotel and had a wonderful time enjoying the festive season in the sunny South.
We highly recommend Cristal and the Sunlight Properties team and are so happy to have found them. We come to Nice several times a year, and this has been the best rental yet. We’ll be back!

Robbed and Stolen and Loud
The apartment is in a loud building very near 4 or 5 busy bars that let out in the wee hours, with patrons screaming, singing, and waking you up (do you want to sing Bohemian Rhapsody with the late night revelers at 2am?). Ear plugs may help, but were not offered at the apartment. And, as a side note, we were promised the building was not loud, and frankly not believed when told it was.
The apartment is nice and comfortable- but oddly set up with the fridge placed on the other side of the cooking peninsula, and an odd toilet/bathroom scheme. The washer and dryer are new and nice. The place is clean and welcoming. A lovely apartment.
But, we were robbed. Away for the day, and when we came back late on a Saturday, OUCH. Everything we left in the apartment was gone thru- every zipper, every pocket- cash stolen, nice headphones stolen. The management company was obsessed with how the door was locked by us when we left for the day- and the implication early was that it had to be our fault. Really. You can only lock the door when you leave. Poorly done.
It ends up that the place as robbed from below the door- pried up, very pro, very complete.
The management company represent the owners, not the renters. Know that. We were offered some ear plugs for the noise, and a bottle of wine if we decided to stay there again. Keep them. We won't stay there again.
Anyway, there it is. An unpleasant experience, made worse by owner and management only concerned with themselves. I'm disappointed. But welcome to the world.

If I could I would give Cristal 10 stars!
Our stay in Nice (in October/November) was wonderful, but staying at Cristal made our stay really magical. Cristal was even more beautiful than we hoped it to be. We felt like we were staying at a 5-star hotel. There was so much attention to detail - so many nice amenities. The apartment was in a perfect location. It was close to the everything – the produce market, the sea and lots of shops and restaurants. Everyone we talked to before and during our stay were so helpful. Even when it rained, it was so nice to know that we could come “home” to the comfort of our apartment.
We are looking forward to coming back next year.
