Trésor caché de la côte ouest à seulement 1 heure d’Auckland, Nouvelle-Zélande. Venez découvrir Port Waikato et relaxez-vous au son des vagues qui se brisent et des couchers de soleil spectaculaires. Ce confortable bach est un refuge idéal pour les couples ou les familles et les animaux domestiques. Entièrement clôturé avec une grande pelouse pour une partie de cricket! Coffre-fort pour les enfants et les animaux domestiques (il n'est pas nécessaire de laisser votre bien aimé amis à quatre pattes derrière). 4 chambres dans la maison principale et une sortie séparée (5 couchages) avec son propre DVD est idéal pour les enfants / adolescents! ou xtras - nous avons même un lit pour votre chien. Nous avons récemment ajouté un compteur de 9 x 5! La pergola à l'avant offre un très grand espace de vie extérieur étendu et une table de 3. 25 m, idéale pour les grandes réunions de famille divertissantes et en plein air. Nous sommes à cinq minutes à pied de la plage et des plats à emporter / café. Plage idyllique de sable noir, promenades au bord de la rivière et dans les dunes de sable (meilleure aire de jeux pour enfants ou chiens). Endroit idéal pour la pêche, la pêche au pas blanc, le surf et une plage surveillée pour la baignade - ou venez simplement vous détendre! ou laissez la magnifique côte ouest éliminer les toiles d'araignées ou le stress. Cuisine entièrement équipée avec four en acier inoxydable de 90 cm et cuisinière à gaz / réfrigérateur à double porte tout neuf. Bois pour les séjours d'hiver nous fournissons le bois! - Offrez-vous une promenade sauvage sur la côte ouest et laissez le vent balayer votre stress ... de la magie pure!

We used the bach for a last weekend together before our son left on his OE. We made great family memories in this excellent bach. You couldn't ask more from the house or the host. Thanks again for having us.

Everything you may need in a holiday home. The kitchen and appliances were great. We found it difficult to decide where to cook, using the massive gas hob or outside using the bbq. Loved the fire place and the outside porch.

We had a great time despite the flooding, and storms and then being told that we are unable to leave the area due to slips, road closures - we had no choice, but to stay put! We were so thankful that we were staying at this accommodation as it was fully equipped with what we needed. We had to cope with power cuts/no wifi connections but we managed and in the end, enjoyed the home, the surroundings and especially Sunset Beach walk - on a perfect sunny weekend, this would be a venue I would suggest to go too. Thank you Sue for your accommodation, it was great.

It was an absolute joy staying here for 3 days, had all the creature comforts of home as well as being a stone throw away from Sunset beach 🏖 thanks once again for the awesome experience, definitely recommend this property to anyone, and will be looking to stay again on our next family venture.

It was a quirky place and we liked that. Neighbours a bit noisy on the Saturday unfortunately. Probably felt a bit overpriced for the quality but spacious for sure.

Wonderful property.
It was still very cold so most nights we had a fire.
Sue gave us unlimited access to firewood and it was lovely and cosy.
Room enough for us and our 4 grandchildren to stay.

Great house for a Group
This house is really well set up for a group. A real bonus was being able to bring my sisters dog! Especially loved the huge outdoor table. We had great weather so it was used for every meal. Plenty of towels and fresh flowers were nice touches.

It's a great bach; the capacity is huge and the rooms each have a nice idiosyncrasy. The outside dining area and new BBQ lead to a fantastic dining experience. The kitchen is also really good; frankly when you visit a bach you seldom find enough tools, but here the cutlery, crockery and utensils are in legion! The beach is a short walk away, although with kids and boogie boards we drove. It was idyllic. Mustn't be boring; the weekend was essentially flawless. Must end with many exclamation mar

Great weekend away
Thanks a lot for letting us use your bach Sue. We loved the bach, the sleepout, and the great outdoor seating area and the garden. We really enjoyed our weekend away, we went for lots of walks on the beach and the children, grandparents and dogs all loved it! A great get-away!

WINTER GETAWAY
absolutely loved the property and the location. Every day we would do at least 2 beach/dune walks and got blown and rained on and exhilarated. Absolute heaven for us and our dogs. Big point of difference that dogs are welcomed. We will be telling all our friends. Sue was amazing. Thank you

A week in Port Waikato
We had a wonderful time here in Port Waikato with our family and grandkids. The house was perfect for a large group. Every day was an adventure: the mesmerizing rollers at Sunset Beach, wandering the dunes, collecting shells (and pumice). A gorgeous place. I highly recommend this VRBO.

Beautiful bach with huge sleepout which also serves as a TV room for the kids.
Huge covered deck so we could hang out and dine in all weathers.
The owner a very nice lady who is easy to deal with and very helpful.

well equipped home, house is deceiving, larger when you go inside. large table under pergola is wonderful for barbecues, sitting out at night, very magical. Beds are comfortable, rooms are private, Home was a delight. Thank you, we look forward to returning in the future.

Port Waikato Retreat
Very clean and relaxing property. Plenty of room for a large or extended family. Made very welcome by fresh flowers in almost every room. We had a lovely time and especially enjoyed long walks with the dog along the dunes. Yummy friendly cafe just up the road by the beach.

Great retreat
Nice easy break from Auckland. Well appointed bach with everything we needed, in a great location. We appreciated the thought that has gone into making this a comfortable and attractive stay. Our teen boys loved the sleep out! If you visit, be sure to spend some time at Sylvia's cafe, and we really enjoyed a trip to Nikau caves.

Cute little house, beautifully decorated, good size fridge and oven, great outdoor table! The dunes and the beach are stunning, friendly community and awesome little cafe (Sylvia's)! We will be back!

We loved Port Waikato and this bach was great for our little group and pups! The place is fully equipped and the outdoor area and big table is great! Unfortunately a new fence is in the middle of completion so was not fully fenced but is temporary and will look great when completed. Also the neighbours are full time residents so guests need to be considerate of loud noise/parties. Sunset Beach and the cafe is a short stroll and we'd love to come back and stay here again.
