Room was dirty.
Shower was particularly dirty with mould.
Limited staff availability.
No breakfast offered or made available.

The bed base was not up to standard, we had to put a pillow underneath the mattress before we went to sleep. (Room 9) Noisy water system- could hear everyone having a shower and heating system. Photos do not do the rooms any justice

Cheap it was, comfy bed, but a restless sleep. . Basic but clean. Buckie not a place I'd visit again, not much to do or see. But used the place to look around the nearby towns.
Noisy plumbing throughout night.

Location was good .
There was no breakfast or meals of any sort as when I arrived there was a sign up saying kitchen was closed and after speaking to locals I was informed the hotel was being used for homeless people who were waiting on suitable housing . The photos of the hotel were very misleading as they showed a lot of pictures of food which used to be served but I can assure you there was no food of any kind while I was there.

property was fine but fare
the room was cold and there was no hot water at the sink as for tea and coffee in the room if I knew would have bring my own cup because there was only one paper cup to drink so just had one cup of coffee

Not a lot, location only good point.
Very poor nights sleep, terrible mattress, people’s TVs on all night, strange people wandering the corridors! Workers leaving early in the morning knocking people to get up, very noisy. no one in the reception to complain in the morning. Just a strange place, not for the faint hearted!

It was dry
Rooms were extremely cold, our workers had to sleep with two duvets on and they were still cold.
Could not get many channels on tv in rooms, only BBC, no ITV so had to use tv in communal area.
Showers took at least 10 minutes to warm up - one day 25 minutes.
Whole place needs renovating.

location was good for Bucky. staff that I saw were friendly, particularly the Irish lady
on arrival the hotel was in darkness, I’d phoned earlier to say I’d be checking in 9:30pm. I had to phone so someone could let me in. once in to find everything closed, no bar and lights off. I got into room to find it had no heating on and was freezing. I did turn heating on so eventually warmed up. in the morning it was off again.

Liked that it was central town accommodation. Very close to shops, public transport, and social life activities. Nearby keep fit premises across the street. For one. Nearby eating premises were just about 5 minutes away. There was also an onsite cafe bistro available which was nice. A great atsmophere was present in there. Loved my overall stay at The Old Coach House.
There was not anything I could say that I did not like about my stay at The Old Coach House. It was an enjoyable stay. All round.

Liked the name. That was what drew me to initially look it up. Had no idea where it was situated in the town. But had a vague memory of seeing it somewhere central a while ago. Found it to my liking after a stay there from before. Everything was pleasing to my stay. No complaints.
No grievances. I needed a place to stay. And just are lucky that there are places out there for us. When needed.

That it was central. It was affordable.I liked that it was en-suite. Staff were lovely. Helped with luggage. Evening meals available. There was a Bistro at the premises.
The portion amounts of food was overwhelming. Too much.

noisy pipes when flushing toilet!

This was a basic hotel, which we stayed in when walking the Moray Coastal Path. There isn't a huge selection of accommodation in Buckie, but this is fine if you're working here, or walking or cycling in the area. Good selection of fast food restaurants in the area - we had a great Indian meal.
Rooms pretty spartan and very basic facilities.

Buckie is a lovely little village in Scotland and we had a great time here. Our room was very clean, we would for sure stay here again.

Well positioned and low cost
Unfortunately the bathroom floor was carpeted and it was soaking wet and had a bad odour. Otherwise it was basic but you got what you paid for.

Staff were lovely and professional.
Property is very dated. Bed was very uncomfortable. No hot food available. Wi-Fi signal was poor.

Convenient to the town and shoping facilities
The welcome from the staff member, who stated breakfast was provided

location
Broken toilet seat, tiny room, staff wanted credit card details including CVC number!? Couldn't fill kettle as sink was too small.
0.5
The area.
Cooked breakfast was advertised but not available. A continental breakfast was available but very poor and over priced. The owner tried to get us to leave early so that he could let the room to someone else. one day my room was not made up. it was also very noisy at night with doors being slammed throughout. The floors squeezed and the plumbing made a lot of noise. This is the worst place I have ever stayed in.
