This property was an excellent fit for two parents and adult aged son. Nina met us at check-in and gave us the quick tour. She was always available but never obtrusive. The unit was impeccably clean! We found it extremely charming and comfortable. When traveling with adult children hotel rooms just aren't comfortable for long stays. This fills the bill! The Star grocery store is only a few blocks up 6th Street. The walk was shorter than it looked on Google maps. Yes there are some city noises from the streets. If you are a suburb dweller like us you forget what city life is like. Haha. The area is extremely safe, Cambridge PD HQ is close by. Uber pick-up was never more than 5-6 minutes. Nina provides all kinds of toiletries, plenty of towels and linens, and some kitchen necessities like paper towels, cooking oils, etc. Recommend you check in, take stock, make your list and walk to the Star! Oh yes there is a liquor store in same center. That's about it. We had beautiful weather and can't wait to visit again.

We enjoyed the living room, kitchen and the yard. Yards are rare in CAmbridge. Nice and clean and well furnished. As older folks we struggled with the beds. We are used to firm foam and found one beds felt saggy. If we were younger we probably would t be bothered by it.

We’re two professors who’ve had good experiences with VRBO for many years. This 6-week stay was the unfortunate exception. The apartment is adequate for a short stay, not for a longer one if you need a place to work. The dining room too cramped for two to work at the table, the wifi and TV reception both unreliable, the beds very soft. The owner was difficult. She complained when we arrived without reading her emailed “rules” in advance, some of which were surprises that we had not agreed to when we rented. She complained when the gate blew open. She complained when we moved the chairs. She claimed that our bicycles were damaging her porch. She complained when we walked through the yard, though she had promised us the use of it. She then demanded a written waiver promising not to sue her if we tripped on the uneven brick walkway; when we gave her that she still tried to block us from walking through. She complained when we complained about things that were not working. Finally she urged us to leave, promising to refund the rent for the unused time. When we did decide to leave early and rented another place for the last week, she retracted her offer, alleging that since one of us had had and recovered from Covid 2 weeks before our new departure, the apartment was now unsafe for the maid and for future guests to enter. Most trying.

Nina’s apartment was perfect for our family’s vacation to Boston. The Cambridge neighborhood is quiet but also convenient to everything that we wanted to do. Nina was the perfect host and we would definitely stay here again.

Very well maintained and appointed property. Luxurious bed and bath linens, well stocked basic kitchen ingredients, easy parking, good neighborhood for walking to restaurants and getting in and out of the city. We felt welcome and enjoyed our time!

This is our third time staying here and it was every bit as perfect as the previous two visits. The location is ideal and the unit is extremely clean and comfortable. Nina is fantastic. She thinks of everything and if you need anything at all, she is extremely easy to get in touch with. This property continues to be our home away from home when we are in the Boston area.

This perfectly appointed unit is the ultimate spot to stay in in East Cambridge. Access to so many wonderful things nearby via foot or car, including top restaurants. And, the space is just beautiful with tons of attention to detail- the perfect mix of comfort and beauty. Thank you to Nina for clear and quick communication and lovely hospitality. This was our second stay at this property and it won't be our last. Everything about the location, the property, the owner, has been perfect. Nina is fantastic in all respects. This is becoming our home away from home when in the Boston area. The house is beautiful inside and spotless. The location could not be more convenient for both visiting Cambridge and Boston and new this time was the bike rental kiosk right across the street from the house which we made use of several times. The Boston Science Museum is a short walk away as are great restaurants and other attractions. We would not want to stay anywhere!

The beds and apartment generally were very comfortable, clean and high quality. We had one extremely wet and windy day. We knew Nina would have thought to provide umbrellas as she appears to have anticipated most of any guest's needs but in fact we spent a comfortable day "at home". Red line T, which takes just a few stops to reach the city centre, is quick and was around a 15 minute walk away through a safe neighbourhood. There were lots of eating places (and an extensive liquor store) nearby. Nina provided a lot of written information and recommendations. She's intelligent, thoughtful and arty and the apartment shows that.

The home was as pictured. Clean, beautifully decorated and exactly what we needed. Nina was a great host!

We spent four nights in this E Cambridge apartment after being greeted warmly by Nina (owner) on the first afternoon. We were impressed by how clean and well-stocked the unit was. It is quite spacious, with the two bedrooms being at opposite ends. Star Market (grocery store) is a few minutes walk away, as is a range of restaurants. Lechmere T (green line) is about a 10min walk, while Kendall T (red line) is about 15mins away. This makes it easy to get to various parts of the city by public transit. The neighborhood itself feels residential and is quiet, especially at night. For those with kids, there is a playground in the schoolyard across the street and some excellent climbing equipment in a park just a few mins up the street, near Star. We would definitely recommend this unit to others. Nina was quick to reply to queries prior to our arrival and was very easy to deal with. All in all, it was a great home base for our stay.

This property is perfect and has everything you need to make you feel at home. The furnishings are exquisite, the beds comfortable, the kitchen totally outfitted for those who wish to cook. It is located in East Cambridge and is great for walking to excellent restaurants, coffee, and to Harvard Square if you want more exercise. The owner, Nina, has gone to great lengths to ensure her property has everything you need as well as provides guidance to activities in Boston and Cambridge. Spent a happy week at this Cambridge apartment. Location is in a leafy residential areas very convenient- short walks - to Lechmere and Kendall Square, and various business nearby, including a great coffee shop. Home was even nicer than pictures. Owner did a great check in and was available as needed during stay. Street parking was fine except for street cleaning night, we were appropriately warned. Highly recommend!

Very well maintained, good location

This is a beautiful and comfortable 2-bedroom apartment conveniently located within walking distance of 2 subway lines as well as cafes and restaurants. Nina is a wonderful hostess, quick to respond to questions and sincerely wanting her guests to have an enjoyable visit. Highly recommend this apartment.

My wife and I traveled with my parents to Cambridge for a family wedding. I chose this place as it was close to the couple being married, and it only had a few steps up to the door - a must for my elderly parents. Nina completely outdid herself. Not only is the apartment well-appointed and comfortable, she has added some nice touches such as books and music. Seeing as we had some down time, being able to sit, read, and relax was welcome. The beds are fine, the kitchen has everything one could want, and the bathroom more than functional. When we discovered there wasn't enough space to plug in both end-table lamps and our CPAPs, Nina came back with a power strip to fix that situation. It may not sound like a big thing, but it is a sample of her commitment to what she does. We had a total of 13 other people in town; staying at four other places combined. We were the envy of all with our choice. And all thanks to Nina!

We have stayed at perhaps 15 VRBO's around the world and this ranks near the top. Very clean, well located and easy to deal with the owner. The house feels like someones home, with nice artwork and everything you would need. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

This is a wonderful choice in Cambridge: it’s beautifully decorated, thoughtfully equipped, comfortable, quiet, and central. The owner, Nina, is very responsive and flexible. We loved having a washer and dryer in the kitchen. Very highly recommended.
