This was the best stay we have had in South Padre and will not only recommend but will definitely book here again. It was just a short visit for my husband and I without kids so definitely more than enough room for comfort. The additional bedroom was untouched but having an additional bathroom was perfect. Plenty of kitchen space and a full fridge were great amenities as was the washer/dryer! It was walking distance to everything we wanted and the beach access was not far at all. Definitely a great place to stay.

Overall, we enjoyed the location and found the space to be nice. However, there were bugs in the kitchen and restrooms that cast a dark cloud over our stay. There were also some basic repairs that should have been taken care of including missing drain plugs and loose screws holding the handle plate for the tub.

This was a nice top floor unit. We were able to make dinner and breakfast each day. The two bathrooms and the washer and dryer was nice to have. The second bedroom does not have blinds, so the sun was bright in the room each morning. We had an issue with bugs in the kitchen, but someone was sent out within hours to spray. Although the pool is very small, it was nice to have when the kids wanted a break from the beach.

When we first got to the condo, we were really surprised with how cute it was But after a few hours, things started to go downhill.
That evening, when I was cleaning up after dinner, I saw several roaches on the countertops and on the floor. I thought maybe it was a one time thing so we killed them and went to bed. One of the girls woke up to get some water at night and they were all over the kitchen. I texted for someone to come remedy this situation and a guy came pretty quickly. He sprayed for the roaches and also fixed a fan in one of the bedrooms that was broken.
They were good for about 24 hours but the next night they were out again. I texted the same number and they said they would Let the correct people know but we never heard back from them. Also that same night the AC got up to 80° and I texted several times and they told me they were waiting on a response from management. They never got back to us and we had to sleep in that 80°
I would’ve recommended this place, but it all went downhill very fast and even though the first time we had a problem, they were quick to respond after that we just seem to get the runaround.
Make sure you read the description and if somebody says they believe it because it was true in this case.

You can't sit on the couch because it is so broken down. You have to leave the unit if you use the dryer because it is so loud. The handle fell off of the oven. The stains on the carpets were gross and the last straw were the cockroaches. It was truely horrible.

We loved this place a lot! My 8 yr old daughter would like for me to add that there are no more bunk beds in the second room, which she was looking forward to, but still loved the two full beds in the room she stayed in. It was perfect for her overall and the decor was still to her liking. Lol. This place had everything we needed for our family. The view was beautiful and when we walked to the beach for the beautiful sunrises we always could see our balcony which made it an even more special spot. We absolutely love visiting the island and definitely will rent this place again!! We were also able to check in early and check out early during the time we stayed in late September which worked out perfect for us. Thank you to the host for allowing us to create some wonderful memories at your beach home!!

It was a very nice stay!!! My family will definitely stay at this location again. Had a nice little peakaboo view of the water. We also could see the fireworks from the balcony. It was quiet and the pool was always nice and clean. It was a a very short little walk to the beach. They did have beach items to use. Included in that was an umbrella. That was a nice find. The stay was really almost perfect. There were just a few cons... We couldn't adjust the thermostat so the temperature was a little warmer than I liked, but not a deal breaker. The back door did not close unless it was locked, so we rigged it to hold shut with a towel while outside. Also, I wish they had left additional paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags. A family of 4 needs at least 2 tp rolls per bathroom, 3 trash bags for the kitchen and 2 paper towels for a weeks stay. The front door handle was loose and super rusted. But there was a double lock so we felt safe. Again none of the above would be a deal breaker. We loved it!

The master bedroom shower had hair on the shower walls as wells as the shower drain. The sink also had hair in it. The couch in the living room had a lot if old stains as well. These things made me question how much cleaning was actually done in between guests. This could be greatly improved in my opinion.

Almost perfect
The listing details for the property were spot on and the location and distance to the beach was fantastic. The only issues we had were:
1) water was shut down for 5 hours due to construction issue. Not the property fault but still a bit of a hassle
2) the kitchen was beautiful but there needs to be a step stool provided for short visitors. Anyone under 5’3 will have a hard time reaching some of the cabinet contents.
3) the lockbox was corroded so opening it was a bit cumbersome, and were unable to relook the keys back in it at the end of the stay. Notified vacasa who also seemed confused as to what to do
4) the listing and confirmation did not expressly state that there was assigned parking per condo. We arrived at night and the parking spots are not distinctly marked. The next morning a long term resident advised us that we need to move or risk being towed.
Other then those issues, it was a great stay. Laundry in condo was great and helpful when drying swimsuits and towels. Pool was also a great addition to help during peak beach hours to avoid the crowds but still get sun.

First trip to Texas.
We enjoyed our first stay in Texas. The house is comfortable and well equipped. The bed is comfortable and liked having a TV in the bedroom. We made several meals there and enjoyed coffee on the deck while watching the waves come in from the gulf. The pool/chairs is great for relaxing, reading or taking a nap. The area is quiet and we felt safe staying there. Really appreciated the off street parking for the units. This area has easy access to the beach and walking distance to some restaurants and shops. We used the bike path along the main street and didn’t have any trouble with drivers being impatient with us. We visited the Farmers Market while there. We would recommend this house as a vacation spot.

Super clean property
The check in was a little confusing since the instructions say there's an electronic entry keypad, but there isn't. Would suggest clarifying that with property management. When I tried to call, they were not answering. Eventually we figured out the code for a manual lock box.
Once inside, the condo is perfect. Super clean, plenty of pillows and towels. I appreciate the individual pot scrubbers and dish soap and bath soap and shampoo - very hotel like for being sanitary. Plenty of kitchen utensils and pots and dishes to use if needed. Wish there was some coffee or a Keurig on the property, but no big deal.
Would definitely stay here again.

I communicated already about the awful smell from the kitchen sink, as well as the broken dishwasher. Had I been communicated with about the broken dishwasher before our visit, I probably would have bought paper plates and disposable flatware, as well as planned less meals in the condo. It was frustrating to need to hand wash dishes on my vacation.Additionally the WiFi was a mess- it was down more than 3/4 of our time there, which was a big deal because I’m in online classes that required WiFi for my coursework. The biggest problem ended up being an insect problem. My wife woke up after the first nights sleep with bites all over her arms and neck, which turned red and inflamed and had open sores on the tops. It required a teledoc call and prescription antibiotics to resolve. We never saw the insect, but they’re suspected spider bites. The second night we added clean sheets to the bed from the linen closet, and removed pillows from the bed. There were still many mosquitos in the condo, despite our diligence in quickly closing the doors as we entered/exited, and not opening the Windows. The decor was nice and the location is awesome, but there were just too many problems.

We love the property location. It’s an easy walk to the beach. Kids took advantage of the pool. We didn’t watch TV so can’t comment on that amenity. WiFi instructions were lacking but we figured it out. We have one very major complaint. The dishwasher in this unit does not work properly. The entire unit is loose and when you open the door the entire dishwasher falls forward. We washed same dishes twice and they were still soiled when cycle was over. Having a dishwasher was important for this family of 6. The machine needs to be replaced. Just a note...I was surprised to see carpet in the bedrooms. It was noticeably soiled and old. I’d rather have tile.

Great location on the island. Overall unit was clean and provided a great experience. The dishwasher was not in working order, wifi was not available and the bunk beds need to be fixed due to safety concerns.
