Perfect location to enjoy Oktoberfest in Helen. About a 10 minute drive. Great size house. Bathroom on each floor. Drive way is a little steep but definitely doable. Our son came up in his Honda civic with no problem. Nice big fire pit outside. Real fireplace inside was great! Host communication was awesome! Enjoyed entire stay.

Place was beautiful and had all the amenities you need. Very clean and the owner was a great host with great communication. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone that wants to stay near Helen Ga.

Friends and I had a wonderful weekend here and it accomadated us perfectly being 4 couples. The downstairs was great for entertaining with rhe pool table. The back porch with the hot tub couldnt be better. While the guys hung out us girls relaxed in the hot tub. The check in process was wonderful and the property/home was immaculate! It wasnt too far to downtown Helen. About a 15 - 20 minute drive but it wasnt bad at all. It is definitely on my saved list for future visits!

Beautiful cabin in the woods. Feels very isolated but only a short drive to Helen. Excellent communication with Don the host. He's quick to help solve any problems. We love the area and the cabin and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

We had a great stay at this cabin and I would stay here again. It was very spacious both inside and on the deck. Lots of room to spread out. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and well stocked. The laundry room has good quality machines. We enjoyed using the pool table and hot tub. The two king beds and the full-size loft bed were very comfortable. The upstairs queen bed was pretty creaky but I'm not sure if that was a problem with the frame or the mattress set. (We let the owner know to check it out.) Our only disappointment was that one remodeling project wasn't quite finished by the time we checked in: the ceiling in the walkout basement level hadn't yet been installed over the king bedroom, bathroom and half of the game room so you looked up into the ventilation shafts and plumbing pipes. I gave the house 4 stars because of that but once that project is finished it will look great. The cabin was in a great location for us. It was easy to get to Helen, Unicoi State Park and all the beautiful waterfalls in that area and it was also easy to get to Lake Burton, Lake Rabun, Seed Lake and Tallulah Gorge in the other direction. Lots of nice wineries close by too. The house was a lovely place to relax and the end of the day.

Great property, and Don is an excellent host. Very responsive, and the wine/charcuterie board was a nice touch. One thing to note, the hill to the cabin is very steep. If you have a low car, be careful!

What a great trip. The property was exactly as described in the listing. We stayed for 5 nights and had an absolute blast. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is there and the hosts are very very prompt in addressing any questions or needs you have A+ overall

My husband and I booked a trip last minute, with same day check-in. Property manager responded promptly allowing us to check-in same day, in the evening. Cabin well stocked with essentials and games. Sole issue was the hot water... unfortunately, it did not last long enough to fill up the big bathtub in one go. Otherwise, very lovely home!

This cabin is absolutely gorgeous. The accommodations and size of the cabin far exceeded our expectations. This is a great cabin for adult couples because of the King beds x2 and queen bed x1 + several other cozy sleeping options (a full bed and a day bed in the loft- not pictured and a pull out sleeper sofa in the basement). The firepit, pool table, hot tub, and 2 huge back decks kept us entertained. Thanks Don!!!

This property had everything we needed for a relaxing girls trip to the north Georgia mountains.

Our family of four really enjoyed our stay. The only downside is that we wished we could have stayed longer! The property is beautiful and very well maintained and has every amenity you could possibly need. We will definitely return!

This cabin has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable get away with friends or family! Multiple decks, nice grill, hot tub, fire pit, pool table and ample indoor space- and dogs allowed. Don is incredibly responsive as well. Would definitely stay here again.

We used the fire pit, we used the fireplace. We visited Helen and we went to a vineyard. All in all, it was a wonderful experience.

Although we missed the changing of the leaves, we loved the location and seclusion of the cabin. Kitchen was well equipped for our family meals. Many memories were made here! Definitely want to return!

The cabin was great and secluded with everything we needed to have a nice stay. The property manager was always available if we needed anything. The area was quiet and just a short drive to Helen and Anna Ruby Falls.

Loved the place. ! The cabin was so relaxing and the accommodations were spot on. Everything you need and then some. Myself and my family enjoyed it so much. Close to town and state parks, yet up in the mountain perfect get away! Would highly recommend it.

It was an absolute treat staying in this cabin! Incredibly well laid out with super comfortable furniture. It was super clean in an easy to access location that was perfectly located close to loads of stuff to do!!

We stayed 3 nights in this cabin for Octoberfest. The cabin is nestled in the woods and it’s spacious and very well kept. We arrived to find a yummy cheese and cracker platter with a bottle of wine in the refrigerator from the owner, which was such a nice touch. We had to contact the owner during our stay regarding a low propane tank for the grill and he responded very quickly and took care of it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stayed and highly recommend this cabin!

A brother and two sisters along with their spouses rented this cabin for a week get together. The cabin was perfect, three bedrooms and three baths. Kitchen was well stocked with anything you need. Plus a nice surprise from the host, a meat and cheese tray and a bottle of red win. Perfect for the ballgames on arrival. Would recommend this cabin and the location is great!

Would rent Again

I rented this cabin planning to have my wedding there. However, after driving there to check out the property I found it wasn’t enough parking space nor was it flat land to for setting up for guest seating. I found another location for the wedding in the area. The cabin was great for the honeymoon. It was clean with full amenities. The host was able to meet all my needs. We are thinking we will return on our anniversary each year it’s available.

This spacious cabin is located about 5 miles from downtown Helen. There are plenty of hiking trails close by. The cabin has plenty of room for 3 couples or a family vacation. Communication with owner was great. Would highly recommend.

the description of the cabin was spot on. very clean, well organized, plenty of room excellent location. the road leading up to the cabin was well maintained and isn't necessary to have 4 wheel drive. the parking area is huge. lots of room. our favorite parts of the cabin were the pool table/rec. area and the middle deck where the grill, hot tub and large outdoor dining table was. we ate a lot of meals at that table and played daily pool games . don our host was great too. any questions we had were answered promptly. when we arrived, there was a bottle of wine and a tray of cheeses/crackers, salami and pepperoni. what a nice surprise. to sum things up, everything was EXCELLENT

The property is just as wonderful as you can imagine! Everything was immaculate!! The owners do everything right starts with some local wine and a cheese tray !! Then never look back it’s a special place ! Go have fun all day if you want want with all that’s to do within 25 minutes or less or just hang out and enjoy the wilderness!! I recommend this cabin for anyone!
