Nous sommes situés dans le centre historique de Newport, à quelques pas du centre-ville, à deux minutes à pied de l'historique Broadway (où les habitants traînent), du port de Newport (prenez une excursion en voilier ou en bateau à moteur), des restaurants (y compris le White Horse Tavern, l'une des plus anciennes tavernes en activité aux États-Unis) ainsi que des chariots pour les hôtels particuliers, le Tennis Hall of Fame, les festivals de folk et de jazz.

Loved the decor and enjoyed parking the car and walking everywhere. Very thoughtful amenities. Ate at the the Hungry Monkey every morning.
Also the bed was comfortable, a plus.

My wife and I are on a quest to have a date in all 50 states while one of us is 50. We were excited to mark our halfway point in Newport and bed down at The Seaside Retreat. We love Newport's charm, hospitality, and vibe. Our accommodations grew our love for all things Newport! Nestled along the narrow one-way streets that crisscross the city, it was ideally located only a short walk from dining, shopping, and the energy of the waterfront. The intimate space was beautifully maintained and immaculately decorated. The communication prior to and during our was pleasant, friendly, and prompt. It is an excellent place to spend a few nights in a fantastic city.

This was a cute little quaint place just enough for 2 people. The hosts were wonderful and the room was very clean and had everything we needed. Just a short walk to Thames St, the water and all the great restaurants, bars and shops. Would definitely recommend it!

I stayed here during the Newport Folk Festival and overall found it to be clean, and comfortable with easy access to the water taxi to Fort Adams and restaurants and the Jane Pickens Theater. The hosts were really kind and helped me get my large suitcase up the very steep steps to the suite. There isn’t a kitchen but there is a fridge for basics, like breakfast items and snacks. The bed is comfortable, though I didn’t spend much time sleeping as it turns out with after show’s running late.
Cons: very steep flight of stairs to the second floor. Might be challenging to someone with mobility issues. Also, it’s unfortunately rather noisy. The walls are thin. The people in the suite next door were very early risers…sometimes at 5:00 a.m. They also had a young child and running feet (normal for a child that age) on hardwood floors meant when he or she was up, there was no getting back to sleep. Also, a/c seemed marginal. It was a small window unit, which cooled the bedroom well, but not the bathroom or sitting area.

Very clean and pretty VRBO - off street parking was a great find in Newport. The check in process was easy and we received great info from the owners prior to check in regarding restaurants. Once we parked our car, we were able to walk anywhere we wanted to go. We highly recommend this property.

Location was great for getting on the free shuttle, shopping and wharf . Apartment was clean with many amenities for beach . Would stay again when in the area.

We really enjoyed staying at Seaside Retreat. It was an easy walk to Thames St and all the best bars, shops and restaurants but far enough away that it was also super quiet and relaxing. The property is small but very clean and decorated well. Would definitely stay here again.

We were in Newport for a wedding. We stayed at Callender house four nights. It’s a very convenient location and having a parking space is a huge perk in Newport. It’s a charming space that has everything you need for a short stay such as ours. It’s nicely decorated and was clean and well equipped and maintained. Would highly recommend!

Amazing hosts who provided such a comfy stay. My husband and I were just married and they just made it so special by giving us a homemade breakfast the next morning and a sweet wedding gift. Super nice super clean such a great stay!

We were attending a wedding and rehearsal dinner in Newport. This was the perfect place to stay. A 20 minute walk into “downtown”, and a lovely, quiet neighborhood. The bed was extremely comfortable, we loved the sitting area. I would stay here again, and hope I get the opportunity. The hosts were responsive to our questions and very helpful.

We loved our stay at this property! The entrance was lovely (soft music, nice lighting) and our room was great. It was beautifully decorated and you can tell they take pride in their home. They provided lots of extra touches to make it comfortable for their guests (my favorite being a makeup mirror). We even met one of the owners and had a pleasant conversation with him. It was centrally located and convenient and quick to get placesI We would highly recommend staying here and would do it again!

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights and we will absolutely be back. Our room was so clean, well decorated and the perfect size for just the 2 of us. The bathroom was super clean, the bed was massive and very comfortable, and the window AC came in handy because the weather was just starting to warm up.
The owners were lovely, too. The location was great- right by some restaurants and about a 15 min walk into downtown. I highly recommend!

My friend and I were in town to run the Newport Marathon and stayed in two rooms so we could have our own space, stay focused and woosah before the big event. My mom and sister had stayed here before and highly recommended it and I can see why. This is truly the place to be! Everything is high class. I stayed in the Seaside room which offers a little more space, like a little seaside apartment and my friend stayed in the Captains room which she described as a hideaway bungalow. Each have their own private bathrooms. We both could not have been happier with our spaces! Every detail was thought about to make us most comfortable. After our race, the host even wrote a little note of congratulations to be seen upon our entry and it was the cherry on top for our race experience. This house is beautiful, the rooms are so inviting and comfortable and the entire experience was A+ in every single way!!! Thank you to our amazing hosts for a glorious stay.
