Best place ever!!! Beautiful place the owner was so helpful !! It is a fully stocked house with top notch amenities. Beautiful porch for rehearsal dinner for 40 guests…we loved the fire pizza oven!!! The place is even better than the pictures! We did run short on water at times… but we had a lot of people showering for wedding and we were doing a lot of dishes… but overall. BEST PLACE EVER!

This property fit our group of 12 men very, very well. Spacious enough to give everyone some privacy, but also with common areas that were nice gathering-places for the entire group. The home was clean and well cared for, and the owner was responsive to inquiries. If we are in the area again in the future, we WILL stay here again

The Alpenhof was a fantastic lodge for our large family. It was very clean and comfortable and central to a lot of activities. We LOVED the covered patio with fireplace especially since it rained one night. The upper area was also handicapped accessible which was very helpful. The rooms and bathrooms have all been renovated and are even nicer than the photos online. The owner was quick with responses and very helpful. We definitely hope to return!

Overall this was a great location with lots of large tables, and places to hang out. Was surprised that we were not told the water was not potable until a few days before check in. Basic cleaning supplies, such as garbage bags and paper towels, were not provided. Requested the stove be cleaned but there was nothing provided to clean with.

Our group of golfers have stayed in many places over the years and this is the first time they suggested we re-rent a place. Suspect once we get plan together for next year you may be hearing from us.

This place is legendary! The owner has done such a great job in this recently renovated house and. There are so many things available in the house that make a huge difference like the full dance floor, plenty of seating, and the serving equipment for large food trays. This place rocks!

We had a large group of 24 guys stay here for our annual golf outing. This place was perfect. The large outdoor area was awesome to socialize and have fires. There was plenty of parking to accommodate all of the out of towners traveling in from multiple states. It was only 3 miles from the golf course. Mr. Hof was very responsive and accommodating for our group. Would 100% stay here again.

Perfect in every way

We had a fantastic stay at the Alpenhof Lodge! This property gave us the ability to house a large church group of adults and teenagers while still feeling comfortable. The kitchen was excellent and provided us a big open space to cook meals while still providing a large space to accommodate seating for dining. The property also provides a fantastic view of the Seven Springs Ski Resort. We will definitely be back and our only regret was that we did not have time to try out the pizza oven at the outdoor lounge space. Thank you Mr. Hof for accommodating us and making sure our stay was significant.

We had a great time once again on our annual Springs weekend! Due to high winds, the power was out all weekend but Mr Hof was there to give us water and extra fire wood. We still managed to make pizza in the outside pizza oven. We will definitely be back. Great house, lots of space

Plenty of beds/bedrooms. Lots of room for fun and games. Nice pool table. Big kitchen with great gas stove.

We had 16 family members ages 13 to 71. Tons of space. Everyone said the beds and pillows were comfortable!!! Property management was super responsive whenever we needed anything before and during!!! We have a chef in the family who loved the kitchen setup! The fireplace was awesome. We had a photographer and had great fun with he different levels inside and the amazing outdoor space where we had multiple fires going on to help stay warm! All in all a great place!!! Thanks Mr Hoff and Robin!!!

This process was incredibly easy from start to finish. We rented this exquisite property for my husband’s 40th and invited many family members and friends. Everyone commented on how beautiful the property was and what an incredible time they had. Will definitely book again.

A very nice lodge, well maintained, spacious, and equipped for families and groups. Bedrooms probably best for no more than ten adults unless you don’t mind sleeping in bunk beds. A+ rating.

This was exactly as advertised and checked all of our boxes. The outdoor entertaining area was even better than expected.

Our family had a great time. The house was very accommodating for all ages and include handicap access.

We had very large (40+ people) family reunions for four days each, three years apart. We returned to Alpenhof the second time because we were so happy the first time, and were equally satisfied again. This clean, inviting property accommodates a lot of people, has a large, well-equipped kitchen, a large gathering space upstairs, a fabulous roofed porch with both fireplace and fire pit, and ample parking. There is one en suite bathroom in one upstairs room. The other bathrooms are shared, but easily accessible, roomy, and clean. Because we were there in the summer, we made full use of the porch for meals, group times, children's activities, and relaxing, while also having the indoor rec room for games and puzzles. The separate bar space provided additional refrigeration and food storage, and counter-top surfaces. Our group was bigger than Alpenhof could accommodate, but we easily found additional accommodations nearby. Alpenhof made a great gathering place with plenty of parking. The downsides were a lack of places for kids to run around and play. (The large porch area went a long way towards helping with this.) Also, the driveway is a steep and very rough descent off the highway, and the highway is narrow, so not great for walking. We enjoyed the easy access to nearby state parks, the 911 Memorial, and other attractions. The host was gracious and responsive. We might move on to explore other parts of the country, but if we returned to the same area in the future, we would make sure to book Alpenhof!

Overall a good experience for the visit.

We had a wonderful time renting with Mr. Hof! The lodge was exactly as described and our large group made use of all the different hangout areas. We also greatly appreciated having a bar area to keep the drinks from overcrowding the kitchen. We made use of Mr. Hof’s firewood contact and got a full weekend’s worth of wood delivered right to the house. It was a bit pricy but so worth it to not have to leave the rental to fetch more wood.

I rented the Alpenhof lod g e for my sons bachelor party. 18 guys, very comfortable, unique setting. Conversations already started to have a get together next year. Owners were very responsive to questions. Love the lodge ***** 5-star

This was our second time staying at Alpenhof with a group of friends and it was once again a fantastic weekend! Our friends who hadn’t been there before were blown away by the property. The highlight of the weekend was relaxing outside around the fire pit. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Amazing property. Great for large groups. The house was clean and fully equipped. We were very impressed and hope that we can return annually for our retreat. Even in the rain, there is great coverage outdoors to meet and still enjoy time outside. The host was very responsive.

The kitchen was not as clean as I would expect stove, sink, etc, however everything else was perfectly clean. There was a very strong sewage smell outside on the back side of the house but didn't effect us using the pizza oven. All in all we had a great stay

This house exceeded all of my groups expectations. The main room was massive, the kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms were clean, I can not say enough good things about this place. Only bummer was no hot tub, but it was barely missed. The beautiful outside patio was also the spot of my proposal!

Overall it was perfect for our family reunion of 48, with 25 of us staying on property. The outdoor space was perfect, and the pizza oven a huge hit after it was mastered. Cleanliness was adequate, all amenities were in order, parking was plentiful and supplies were good. Contacting the host was easy and he resolved all questions and issues. The primary issue was a total loss of water, with 2 ladies in the shower and several who went to a local campground to shower for a memorial event we had planned for the day. Had we known ahead of time, we would of gladly conserved our usage, but there was no notification or post of a low water supply during our stay/time of year. The host did deliver spring water about 4 hours later, but we used bottled water for cooking and the water was discolored due to the cistern being stirred up. Yes, we would rent this place again as the space is ideal. I'd suggest some more documentation to assist guests.

Had a nice office retreat here. Great facilities for cooking and staying. Loved the huge covered outdoor space, kept us dry even in the rain. Only downside was we couldn't figure out how to get the disco ball working!!!
