The room was beautiful and an ideal one for couples. The property is perfectly located and provides amazing view of the city. The staff is young and eager to help.
The mattress in the room was terrible and needs to be replaced immediately. We were unable to sleep all night and ultimately decided to check out early from the place.

GREAT location!!!!! Right in the middle of the fort and a wonderful historic place. Roof top terrasse is nice, food ok (sometimes a bit waiting). Friendly staff always helpful.
The superior rooms are really not cheap but ok ok it‘s really historic and nice. I had room 112 —> the shower / toilet next door makes sone noise… well you can‘t help it as it is a historic building.

Wir hatten sehr schönes Zimmer im Turm. Es war geschmackvoll und komfortabel eingerichtet. Schön groß und hell. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Das Terassenrestaurant verteilt auf verschiedenen Ebenen war hübsch eingerichtet und gute und freundliche Bedienung. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen.
Da es ein Hostel mit Zimmer ist, waren da einige junge Leute da, die nachts um 1 Uhr noch laut waren.

Hotel was good with a good view of the city from fort
Staff were not helpful. We requested for help to get the luggage to hotel as we were only 2 girls and autos were not allowed inside the fort due to new year activities. The hotel staff were not at all helpful but after requesting multiple times they eventually got the luggage to hotel. Since the room was in 2nd floor and steps were too steep we requested hotel staff for help with luggage but again they were not at all helpful. After multiple requests they helped in getting the luggage to room. They didn’t even provide water bottles and we had to pay for water bottles despite booking a deluxe luxury room!

Amazing property and the owner has maintained it wonderfully! The staff was VERY friendly, we sat and talked about Jaisalmer a lot. 10/10 recommend for sure. I’m gonna visit again

During our stay, we faced a bit of water shortage which was promptly resolved by the ground staff.

It is inside the fort area and so it’s a very congested area. Most of the monuments and areas of sightseeing are very near and can be covered by walk.
The room is too congested and the jet spray at the washroom is not in working condition.

Only the location of the property was good
The staff who attended us was least bothered about the things we asked. The washroom was very shabby and stinky. There was no cleanliness in the property. 75% of the property was under construction and hence all the stuffs were laying outside in the pathway.

I booked the deluxe king room and it was exceptional for me. love the room, the bed and linens. stayed in Jan 2023 so no ac was used. Love the desert safari activity we joined. it was well planned and alot of fun. the staff in both hostel and desert safari was amazingly helpful and genuinely friendly.
do note that cars or autos cannot drive to the doorstep as Zostel jaisalmer is located inside the fort. we packed light and don’t have huge luggage so it’s all good to walk a little. it’s 15-30mins from train station to hostel and contacts of the auto Zostel shared is very reliable with reasonable prices.
hot water is only available until 10.30pm. we couldn’t shower after that.
another thing is, they don’t limit guests talking til late night at the patio or terrace just outside. it’s abit disturbing

The clean and esthetic ambience, the courteous and helpful behaviour of the staff and owners , the location is a very prime area inside the fort.Theyvguide whenever required. Delicious food. They organize lots of activities so please call and find out.Will recommend people travelling solo /with friends/couple .I will be visiting soon again.
