The lodge was fantastic for our group. We’ve been having our outing of 20 or so family members of all ages for a number of years. The last several have been in the Seven Springs area. We highly recommend the spot. Russ, the owner, was very responsive and accommodating.

This was a great place to stay. Plenty for everyone to do. Need to update the amenities online.

Everyone enjoyed themselves. Some of the twin beds were uncomfortable.

Russell and Wendy made the decision easy. We booked this a year ago. Our whole family (22 of us)were able to stay in one location for a family wedding 10 minutes down the road. There was so much room we were very comfortable. Russell was very responsive to any issues we had. We would stay there again for sure!

This property is perfect for our family reunion. The little ones were entertained in the game rooms with all the books, toys, and space to lay out their own amusements. Working in the large, well equipped kitchen was a pleasure. The great room and the porch provided wonderful spots to gather together. This is our third reunion at Legends. Everyone looks forward to returning because it fits us so well.

Nice 9 bedroom house with large yard and very nice covered porch which was great since it rained off and on during our stay. Kids enjoyed the game room. Host was responsive to our requests.

Family tradition. We have been going to the Woodlands Lodge for years. It is a great place with great accommodations. Russel is very responsive and takes care of any needs quickly. The hot tub was not there when we stayed but that wasn't a major issue for us,

Russell is an outstanding host, and we have come back to this home for 2 years in a row for our family gathering. We number 23 people, and everybody was comfortably accommodated. We spent a huge amount of time on the front porch, while children played games and ran around in the yard. This was a great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this unique large house. Plenty of beds for everyone in our group and a scenic location close to 7 springs. Lots of games and entertainment to keep everyone busy. We were surprised there is no lock on the house doors but the owner insured us there is quality surveillance. This sat fine with most of the group but some folks were worried about belongings when we left the house unattended and just sleep better with locked doors.We would recommend staying at this location and Russell was a nice, friendly, accommodating host.

This home was prepared for our big family! Walk in ready with many bedrooms, large kitchen and dining areas for a big family. Our grandchildren were so happy with the playroom stocked with great toys and ready just for them. Outdoor fun was amazing with yard games, many comfortable seating areas for adults and an adult hot tub to wind down in after the children went to bed! Highly recommend!! Will definitely try and rebook if we come back to this area.

The house has large gathering spaces so that you can all dine together and sit on the porch together. We enjoyed sitting on the large porch in the evenings taking in the beautiful yard and some wildlife passing through. I think this home would be beautiful in every season

Clean home, awesome spaces for kids to play both outside and in! Host was able to get us a baby gait for the steps as I forgot to bring one which was awesome! Recommended stay for family’s with kids and elderly as their is a ramp to get in and bedroom on first floor! Porch had plenty of seating! Only request would be guest laundry as when traveling with kids the ability to do laundry is nice but I think I read somewhere they are already planning this! Also they had corn hole, horse shoes and ladder ball so we didn’t have to bring that either! Great stay!

Our group has rented this property for the last 14 years for an annual get together. It is a very comfortable property for us in a great location. The owner is super easy to work with. Looking forward to next year already!

I brought a group to stay for a birthday weekend. Russ made himself available but gave us a lot of space. I like that his rules are very clear and not much of a hassle. The space is truly lovely, and the pictures don’t do it justice. The power in the area went out one evening due to extreme weather, and Russ gave us a bunch of lanterns to get us through the night. The space didn’t become uncomfortable even without power. I would stay again without hesitation.

This is the fourth or fifth time we've rented this property. We are six families with 8 kids between us. however, since our kids are all away at college or working we decided to continue the tradition without the kids. Totally different vibe but we had a great time. Although we didn't need 9 bedrooms we like the house so much we decided book it again. The house is warm, cozy, and well equipped. And a nice surprise to us, since it was St Patricks Day weekend, the house was totally decked out with Irish decorations. Thanks so much to owners Russ and Wendy for making our parents get away a memorable one.

Great for a crowd and close to Seven Springs. Host was responsive to requests and communication. We had a lot of fun. Property doesn’t allow kids in the hot tub and monitors outside activity with property cameras which was fine, just wasn’t aware before booking.

This is a beautiful property that is well managed and cared for. Our group has been staying here annually for the past 10 years or so. Upgrades were made since our last visit (new appliances, new furniture, additional beds, new hot tub). We have already booked our stay for 2024. Owner is amenable to suggestions for improvements and is easy to reach with questions or concerns. 5-Stars!

We had a wonderful time! The house had ample room for our party of 22, which included 10 children! We were fortunate to have a chef in our family who prepared all our meals and the kitchen had everything he needed!

This is our 4th or 5th time at this property - and clearly, we love it! The property is beautiful, with a huge kitchen and eating area. We go with friends and love to spread out - as we read, play games (they have a GAME ROOM!), etc. The rooms are comfortable and the areas to spead out before/after skiing are super comfy!

We had a great weekend until we left and I was fraudulently charged a damage fee. I rented the house for my family, for an annual ski weekend. The owner check my mom into the house instead of me (the renter) and somethings were apparently told to her about the house that were not listed in the rules or in any previous communication. She says they were never mentioned and we will never know it’s just he said she said. I was there on time but he seemed to be in a hurry to head out of town for the weekend and checked her in instead. After the weekend I received a texts says everything looked good except someone poured bubble bath into his hot tub. This NEVER happened. The owner sent me a picture of a hot tub with foam in it 2 hours after I left. We have had a hot tub for 20 years and have had this happen to our own hot tub. It is general hot tub maintenance. You can Google what caused a foamy hot tub and get 5 explanations including ph being off, chlorine levels being off, low water and using the jets creating air bubbles, not using a defoamer in your hot tub and detergent or soap left in bathing suits when washing. Nothing is intentional just normally hot tub Maintance and usage. The owner states there is a camera that watches the hot tub. If this is in face true he has proof that no one poured anything into the hot tub. He charged my card even after I gave multiple explanations to help him understand how a hot tub works. These are grown adults and it is common sense no one would do this to someone else’s property. It is a shame that he is using his hot tub to make money from guests. The rest of the house was very nice, but other rules and regulations did come out after we stayed that were never originally stated. If you stay in this home there are many great aspects of it but be careful with the hot tub and the charges you may encounter even though there is a camera to prove no one did this!

This house was perfect for our NYE weekend stay! We had several families with children stay, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The house's location was easy to find, and the host was exceptional when answering questions. The place was very clean and had an old charm to it. The kid's enjoyed the bunk beds and playroom, and the adults loved the hot tub and wood fireplace. There were plenty of towels, kitchen utensils, cooking supplies, and solid wifi. We were also minutes from Hidden Valley and Seven Springs. Will definitely be back!

A group of 20 women, eager for a post holiday getaway from our families. The house set up was great with respect to bedrooms, kitchen, dining. We did not use the lower level much but see how it would be great if you had kids who wanted to separate from the adults. Looking forward to another trip next year

Our extended family of 19 gathered for Christmas. We ranged in age from 12-mid-70s. This house was perfect for our needs. It was delightfully decorated. There are ample bedrooms and bathrooms. The owner was very responsive and accommodating as our stay occurred during the bomb cyclone storm. The kitchen is very well laid out. The beverage bar allows people to mingle without being in the way of any cooking. And the chair and sofa in the kitchen sitting area allowed people to gather without crowding. The kitchen is the heart of a house and this one worked very well for us. We used the fireplace every evening. It was a great lodge for an extended family gathering. We recommend!

This was a central location for all of us coming from different locations. Having so many bedrooms with private baths was a plus. Grandkids loved the bunk room Since we were celebrating Christmas together we. Enjoyed all the holiday decorations and Christmas trees. We would love to come again in a different season and enjoy the outside fire pit, the front porch and back deck!

We stayed here with five families, kids ranging from 6-13. Lodge was plenty big enough to meet our needs. Kind host who cares about his property.

Russ was a wonderful host and enjoyed the conversations with him. We were all excited though to play some foosball but unfortunately somebody had broken at the table during a prior stay

We had another amazing time staying here! Couldn’t ask for a better place. Ross is the perfect host. Can’t wait to go back for our 3rd trip with our friends!

Once again this year we enjoyed the hospitality of Russ at this beautiful home. The home is always well stocked! The hot tub was a real hit! So many things to do nearby and on property as well. The wrap around front porch is awesome!!! We are always very comfortable and come back year after year! Thank you again, Russ, for a great stay! Marybeth D

Our wedding party stayed here for the weekend. We had our rehearsal dinner here and Russell was extremely helpful with anything we needed. This property was exactly what we needed for our large group.

Beautiful, well-stocked, large and accommodating. We had a wonderful time. The property was all we hoped it would be.
