Listing shows house but for Americans this is a duplex and we expected a whole house. Everything was very clean with exception of few cob webs in windows which wasn’t a big deal to us. The heaters in each room worked but was definitely a learning curve lol. Beds were horribly hard, linens were very nice and comfy. The best thing about this place was the location. It was very close to the center of town and Ross Castle which if you are a runner or hiker is awesome. We had an issue with the hot water but was fixed the next day no worries. Overall it was a nice stay in a clean and safe neighborhood

We were within a 10 minute walk to our two bus tours (Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula). Also, just across the street was the location for the Celtic Steps musical performance- Excellent!
Lastly, the Ross Castle is a 20 minute walk as well. 👍

Had a wonderful time staying here. The location was central to most things we did. The house was clean and comfortable. Overall, nice experience.

We enjoyed staying at this unit in Killarney. It was a great location - close to Ross Castle and the National Park and not too far of a walk into town. Beds were very comfortable and unit was very clean. Never expected temperatures in the 80’s so it was nice that each bedroom had a fan that could be used. Would definitely stay here again if we visited Killarney again.

This vacation rental is perfect! Comfortable beds, everything you need for a stay in Killarney with easy walking to both downtown and the national park. We loved the golf course near by - so pretty and unique with a racetrack through it.
Would definitely book it again!

Everything was great. The bottle of wine to celebrate my wife’s 70th birthday was a lovely, unexpected added touch. It’s just a little too far for us to walk into town for the pubs. But the taxi service was dependable and reasonable. Very close to the beautiful Natl park

After visiting Dublin and Belfast, it was appreciated how much space we had with this property for a family of four. Everything was clean and the communication was good. This is a great location to see the Killarney National Park.

This home was perfect for our large family, 4 adult children (upstairs) and parents (downstairs). Very clean, comfy bedding and great windows allow the fresh air. We didn't spend too much time in the home other than to sleep. Killarney town is a brisk 20 minute walk away and if you're there for the races, it's right across the tracks. Roomy kitchen, dining and living rooms and large back yard. Thank you, it was lovely.

Beautiful place to stay, the place was clean, spacious for me and my family with three bedrooms. Location could not be better, you are walking distance to the town center, Ross Castle and Killarney State Park. We rented bikes nearby and biked all around this incredibly beautiful area. We would definitely stay again.

Well managed and very responsive when we couldn’t figure out to get hot water.

Fabulous property. Just far enough off the beaten path, but close enough to still walk!
Great stay! Exactly as shown in pics. Easy walk to Ross castle, town and the Inec! Easy communication with the Kings! Will stay again next year!!

Perfect place for us!
The place was the best location - perfect for us. Walk to town was easy, cutting through Killarney house and coming out to our street. We were in and out of Killarney house many times.
Beds were comfortable - place was clean - kitchen was easy to move around and table right there. I must say I didn't cook many meals so not sure about that. We all had a great time. Thanks. Betsy Bracken

Four of us stayed for eight nights. It was a perfect place to tour the many sights of SW Ireland. We arrived to a beautiful home, a bottle of wine, a loaf of bread, a jar of Raspberry Jam and fresh fruit. Our hosts were GREAT! Thanks a Million for taking Excellent Care of us!!!! The Lampert Family

We absolutely loved our stay at this home. We walked into Killarney for dinner and also to visit Ross Castle. Centrally located in what was our favorite part of our vacation holidays. Owners are very kind and attentive with any questions that we had. I highly reccomend. We can't thank our hosts enough for a lovely stay.

Irish comfort convenient to everything!
There were two couples (4 people) during our stay and we had a wonderful time. The owner is so helpful and the location is perfect for all attractions in County Kerry. We even took a day trip to Dublin by train. The home epitomizes Irish comfort with an ideal location. We would highly recommend this property and especially the wonderful owners. Our visit was in May 2018. 🍀

Perfect location
Six of us (three couples who have known each other for a long time) spent three nights here. It was great. The house is very well kept and the owners are very responsive if you have any questions during your stay. It was nice to find a loaf of brown bread on the kitchen table when we arrived and, lo and behold, there were some unopened items in the fridge which came in handy as well (including a couple cans of ale). The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and the neighbors we met were very nice. The house is a reasonable walk into the center of Killarney (we always drove in because we only had three days) - Killarney is a great town. We used the house as a jumping off point for sightseeing - mostly the Ring of Kerry. Wish we had time to do Dingle as well - supposed to be great. You won't be disappointed by the house - we certainly weren't.

Great Location! Very accessible and quiet.
The food and drink at the house on our arrival were most welcome!
Overall, none of the four of us felt that the house should be described as "stunning" or an executive home. A number of items needed repair, such as the towel bar in the downstairs bathroom (and the sink unclogged) and the glass shelf in the upstairs bathroom as well as the gasket for the shower door. The sink in the bedroom did not work. We could not get the heater in the hall working, but the others pumped out heat that was much appreciated. We continued to have trouble getting hot water in the evenings. Hooks for wet outdoor clothing (perhaps over the heater in the hall) would have been a big help.
Instructions for use of the hob would have been most helpful for North Americans, as well as some starters for the turf fire (although it was lovely to have the turf there waiting for us). The kitchen was well stocked, bright and airy. The dining area was great.
The photos of bedrooms on the site are very misleading in that two of the photos are of the same (downstairs) room with different bedding and furniture. It implies that there are two rooms with large beds and that is not the case. Nonetheless the beds were comfortable.
The house was clean and tidy and it was great to have a home base for five days while visiting the Killarney area. There is so much to see and marvel at. Driving the Gap of Dunloe is not for the faint of heart!!
We would rate the house no higher than 3.5.

Lovely house, ideal location.
We enjoyed four nights in Killarney with four adults. The house is very well-equipped, very clean, and centrally located in Killarney. We were there in part for the Killarney races and the location couldn't have been more convenient. The walk into town was easy, well lit, and helpful after a nice meal or a few pints. Updated instructions for the excellent washer dryer and dishwasher would be helpful for visitors from North America

Wonderful home in Kilarney
The home is extremely comfortable and well kept. The home has all of the necessities that we could have asked for including a great washer / dryer and dishwasher. The beds are really comfortable to sleep in. The shower is also really good in both bathrooms. It's close to town a 5-10 minute walk and also really close to Kilarney National Park & Ross Castle. We enjoyed every minute of our 14 day stay. We loved Ireland and will miss it dearly!

Best home we've ever rented
My family of five was traveled to Ireland from the states for the first time and we were looking for a home away from home. We found it! This home was so comfortable and the set up couldn't have been better. The kids had their bedrooms and bathroom upstairs, they could sleep late and not be bothered by us waking early and vice versa. The separate living room (that no one had to sleep in because of the more than adequate bedroom accommodations) was perfect for them staying up late or me rising early. It was just a very comfortable home. As soon as we walked in my teens ran through the place saying this was their favorite place. As for the owners I cannot say enough there either. They were so accommodating answering my questions before we came and helping me out of a bind while we were there. I had forgotten to print my boarding passes (required for non EU members) and had asked if there was a library or someplace I could go to do it. They said send them the PDF and they would take care of it. The next day we enjoyed the Ring of Kerry and when we returned home our boarding passes were there. One last mention, thank you for the room darkening shades. It stays light very late in the summer and the bedroom was solidly dark with those pulled. I greatly appreciated that when we went on to our next stop and didn't have any there.
We will definitely stay here again. I've already recommended it to friends.

Perfect stay in Killarney
My family of 5 from the States stayed at this home from June 12th to the 15th, and were quite pleased with both the amenities and the location. Virtually everything we needed was available and in good working order (kitchen appliances, W/D, etc.), and the home was in an extremely good location (short walk into town or to Ross Castle). The house has a nice deck which extends out the back of the home into a beautiful back yard. We would highly recommend this home to anyone thinking about staying in Killarney.

Comfortable and welcoming
We didn't have a car on a recent stay in Ireland so chose Killarney as a base for day trips. This house worked well for our group since it is close to the pick-up site for day trips, downtown Killarney, and Ross Castle. From our first inquiry about the availability of the house throughout our stay, everyone was very helpful and quickly responded to email questions. They also provided info about tours that other guests had enjoyed. We took advantage of the hop on/off shuttle for a day in Killarney National Park. Other tours for us included Ring of Kerry and Gap of Dunloe with O'Connor Tours, and Cliffs of Moher/Burrens with Walk With Me. I highly recommend this house as well as those tours.

Convenient and Hospitable
Stayed here for a week with a friend and her son. The three beds and two bath were perfect. The manager was friendly and hospitable. It's a 10-15 minute walk to town - just a good stretch of the legs. Killarney is delightful, and the surrounding attractions (Ross Castle, also within walking distance, Muckross House, Killarney National Park, etc.) are wonderful. We used this as a base for several day trips (Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula, Blarney Castle and Kinsale, Waterford) and found it perfect. I'd highly recommend this - and don't miss eating at Cronin's Restaurant in Killarney.
