It was so beautiful and relaxing! The house had everything we needed. The only down fall was there was only one bathroom.

This is our 3rd visit, every time we stay here, it just feels so right. I love everything about this property. It is a true gem.

Stunningly beautiful, peaceful, and serene. Frequent daily visits from a total of 11 deer (3 bucks, several doe, and babies! One day while lounging in thr pool several deer came within a stones throw of me and stayed for several munutes! Heard 2 owls every evening and saw one several times flying low along the property! Absolutely PERFECT! Home has an open floorplan that gives plenty of room for everyone. Windows throughout the home allow all of nature in from every viewpoint. The home is very welcoming and provides for every need, want, and desire! Beautifully appointed and bedrooms are extremely comfortable and relaxing! Fully stocked kitchen, wonderful pool, outdoor shower, and large firepits add so much to the overall ambiance of the property. Check in was a breeze and no issues whatsoever during our stay! Hosts are thoughtful, attentive, and genuine! Thanks so much for offering such a wonderful retreat and memories we will cherish always!

This property was so beautiful. The house was so comfortable and decorated like "Joanna Gaines" style vibe!. The beds were all king size and we slept like a baby. There is so many sitting areas and tables inside and out. The pool was clean and so much fun. Wish I could just stay and retire here. We will definitely come back again. We also seen so many deers in the yard daily. It was an awesome weekend getaway.

A great way to relax and feel like you are miles from the city. The pool was a wonderful way to beat the heat. If you don’t want to travel far but want to get away, this is you place.

Amazing property! The pictures do not do this place justice! The pool was fantastic- clean, great temperature, and just enough shallow area for our little ones to enjoy! The house? Wow! It is spread out and comes with anything you could want, including all the pots and pans you'd need to feed an army! The living room is all windows and provides great views of nature. Our kids loved the toys that were provided and the extra space to spread out and play. We cant wait to get back for a longer stay!

Visited family over a long weekend and this place was great for hosting our time together. The pool was just what we needed and the house has great space inside. Very relaxing and the wildlife was nice to watch. We had a great time!

Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect for our extended family! Smores around the large firepit, hand warming around the gas firepit on the back deck. Watching the owls, rabbits, and deer throughout the day! The deer sitings were pleasantly frequent throughout each day. Home was cozy and warm. Experienced heavy rain over 1 night which allowed us to watch the sky dance from the comfort of the wrap around windows in the living room! My grandson and even my son had a blast on the trampoline! My grandson also loved hanging the hammock outside each day. He loved laying back in it and many times we had to coax him back inside at the end of the day! Kitchen has everything you could need and beds are super comfy! If your looking for a home that offers everything you could need and a beautiful property close to nature, book this home! This is our second stay here, first time was 2016. It’s a magical experience. The second time seems more magical than the first because we already know we had a good time the first time. And having pictures of our kids 6 years ago & today. This place is amazing, the pool is pretty big & in the sun (stayed at a rental where the pool is always shaded due to the trees, not the same at all). The rental is on a massive property allowing for nice walks. This place has an outdoor shower which added to the experience. Showering with the sounds of birds and nature all around us. There are many different seating areas, a place where we can have a bonfire, a fish pond, nicely decorated, indoors & outdoors. You can even see the stars on a clear night. Definitely did not disappoint, this place is amazing & the owners are lucky to own such a beautiful place, The only downfall is that there is only one bathroom that is shared by our whole family.

This house, property and hosts were incredible. You feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere in your own little world. The house was clean and had everything you could ever need for a stay. The outdoors were amazing with huge trees, a great pool, and multiple places to relax. If you’re looking for a place to get away from it all and relax with family and friends, this is it!

Man did we enjoyed our stay! Plan on booking again when in the area. The house was beautiful in and out. Clean, spacious and full of entertainment. We have a no electronics rule while on vacation and our family was able to disconnect and enjoy the amenities. The pool was clean, with many floats available. The grounds were well kept. Loved using the trampoline, playhouse, the many seating areas, the swing and hammock, and the grassy areas; also the fish pond was nice to look at. The kitchen was well equipped, had everything we needed! And finally the welcome treats left on the counter were a family favorite. Thank you! We will be back

Adored this cottage! Communication with the property owner was fantastic. We had everything we needed for a fantastic family Memorial Day weekend. Just outside the city but felt completely off the grid. Exactly what we wanted. It was perfect.

Part of the reason we booked this place was to enjoy the spa/hot tub that is specifically mentioned in the listing description, as well as shown in photos. It wasn't until we arrived and contacted the owner to ask how to work the hot tub, that we were told it doesn't work and never has. That was very disappointing, and feels pretty dishonest to advertise a "spa" in your listing when it doesn't even work. Otherwise, the house was good overall and we enjoyed our stay. The outdoor areas in particular are lovely, and the kitchen is large and great for cooking for a crowd. It had almost every dish/appliance we needed. The beds, bathroom, and towels all seemed clean. One smaller issue is that the cleaners have definitely been neglecting things like dusting and mopping, as there were noticeable cobwebs swinging from the ceiling, dust build-up in crevices/doors, and our white socks immediately looked very dirty from the unwashed floors. Overall the house seemed clean except for these issues.

The wife and i wanted a private getaway. This place delivered that pretty well. Was not as private as we wanted, house next door is close and the yard is fairly open. The house was fully stocked with anything you would need. The house was extremely clean and orderly. The fire pit area was awesome and we enjoyed it nightly. The one knock i would give is that the pool deck area needs a good pressure wash.

My family and I had to pack up fast and evacuate for hurricane Ida and arriving to this home was the breath of fresh air we needed. Although we were watching the news and worried for our house back in New Orleans, we had much needed distractions from the deer and beautiful scenery. The home is even more beautiful in person and has a “homey” feeling. We will hopefully be coming back for a real vacation next time. Thank you Annegret and Tiffany!

We stayed one week for a baseball tournamnet. The house is lovely. I enjoyed morning coffee looking at the wildlife (deer, armadillo, owls and an armadillo). the pool is refreshing and clean -we enjoyed it every day. There are lots of sitting areas to hang out outside. We never used the fire pit but next time we will to cook s'mores. The hosts are very nice and responsive if you need anything.

Enjoyed the quiet place and for sure the pool. Great place to stay with family or friends. We highly recommend it.

Very clean, lovely property!

Me and my grandchildren had a wonderful time they loved the pool it was a relaxing atmosphere.

Everything was clean and smelled wonderful!! The light switches are quirky but no big deal. Our family had a wonderful time! I honestly can’t say enough! We read the other reviews, so we were prepared for a lot. The pool isn’t heated but it was perfect for us. The hot tub doesn’t work but our kids loved the little pool. The steps going into the house are a bit taller then regular steps and there isn’t a handrail, so some us were a bit slow getting in. Overall, we want to stay again and hope it’s soon!!!

We had an amazing time at rhe Cottage with our 19month old twin boys, 7 year old daughter, and Au Pair. The property was well maintained, clean, and just what we needed. The owners were very responsive and helpful through the booking and throughout our stay. We will have this on our lists of places to stay again!

The viewing rooms were spectacular. So many nice outdoor areas and the tall trees really keep things nicely shaded and cool. Nicely stocked. The pool was nice and clean.

What a wonderful property!! We stayed here in the middle of a travel trailer trip and what a great place to unwind!! The host provided space to park or 30’ trailer which made this stay so much more comfortable! The property was super clean and comfortable, pool was fantastic for our 7 year old. The location was quite and private. I also want to say what a pleasure the host is, very helpful and responsive - we truly felt at home here!!!! We are planning to make another trip to this property and can’t wait!

We loved our stay, there are some super cute and very friendly dogs on the property that caught us by surprise, and the hot tub was out of order, but it was absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed our stay very much.

No issues from booking to checking out.

This home is lovely and perfect- the other home on the property is really close so don’t be surprised by that!
