Profitez de vacances classiques au Kiwi dans notre maison du lac des années 1950.
Salon, salle à manger et espaces extérieurs ensoleillés pour 1 à 2 familles ou un groupe d'amis. 4 chambres et 2 salles de bains, il est confortable pour 8 personnes.
Cet endroit magique vous rappellera comment étaient les vacances au Kiwi. Détendez-vous à la maison, dirigez-vous vers la plage pour une baignade sûre, propre et tranquille, ou suivez le sentier de la plage pour pêcher dans le monde entier sur le fleuve Waitahanui. Le coucher de soleil sur le lac est à ne pas manquer! Nous avons même coupé du bois de chauffage si vous voulez passer une agréable soirée d'hiver au coin du feu.

Great location, short stroll to the lake. Well supplied with both heaters and a fire to warm the chilly nights. Good configuration for groups and all amenities that you would need for a break away. Good fenced backyard for little ones and plenty of parking

Property owner was super easy to deal with and really appreciated that they left some firewood so we could have a fire as the weather wasn't the best.

We loved our stay. Very comfortable accommodation and great location just a few minutes walk to the lake. Awesome to be able to bring our golden retriever on holiday with us as well. Would definitely book again.

Stayed over the holiday period as we had other family also in Taupo. Nice Bach and we were very happy to be able to take our dog. Walk ways for walking and running we’re a bonus with a fresh swim after.

Overall we loved the stay! A bit out of town which actually worked in our favour as we had awesome cycle rides, and dog loved the run! Stay there again!!

Awesome little place just out of town
We loved our stay, we were very warm and comfortable, everything we needed was there, nice secure back yard for children and our small dog, definitely would come back.

Another great stay!
Our family and small dog enjoyed another lovely, short but sweet stay to vist family in Taupo. The fire was super cozy and with heaters in all the bedrooms it made for a lovely mid winter break. We'll be back!

Good times
I’m not going to lie, I was a little surprised at the no frills aspect of this place. Don’t get me wrong, not snobby but I definitely think a wide lends was used when the photos were done.
Lovely pics and a huge bonus that dogs were allowed and confined safely out in back yard. But it was quite run down - beds not good, not comfy. Furniture in Bedrooms is falling apart condition. Ensuite and bathrooms are so run down and a disappointment as they were as clean as they could be, just old and well used.
The fire however was amazing - and we did have a good time regardless of the bedrooms not being as warm and comfortable. Bbq had to be cleaned prior to use - and only had enough in gas bottle for the short steak bbq that night, which was ok for us as only wanted one nights use of it. I’m sure that could of been fixed with a call to the owner but the fact we had to clean bbq for use is not what I would of thought expected.
Good communication from owners prior and on departure.
Overall, a good stay but definitely some Reno’s would make this place a stand out.

Good kiwi bach with basics of what we needed. You can’t miss the traffic noise but it’s so close to the lake that was the best bonus.

Enjoyable stay
Excellent value for money, looked just like the photos. Clean and tidy with all amenities. We had a small dog and loved the very dog proof fence. Easy access to the lake was a bonus. Lots of space for the family to spread out. Only one concern was the out door furniture a little worse for wear. Pam

All you need in a bach
The bach was well equipped with everything you would need for your break. The BBQ are was nice, we had a couple of nights sitting around the fire. Less than a minutes stroll down to the lake for a swim was great for the kids and adults alike.
The motorway is loud - but this is stated in the description.

A good 'old school' type bach with all the requirements, amenities, plus...
The bach is tired and needs some updating and maintenance. It wasn't as clean as it could be and needs a super spruce up in cleanliness throughout. The provided basic linen, ie.covered duvets and pillows need a serious wash, dry clean, as do the cushions in the living area. The main bathroom toilet smelt of stale urine. We suggest that an automatic dishwasher be installed in the kitchen. The outside garden, grounds need serious pruning, weeding, etc. The main gate does not swing and was hard work having to lift and open.Our communication with the owner and his lovely Dad was excellent and extremely helpful at all times; thank you so much. Overall a good place to stay for a holiday break.

Wonderful holiday!
We loved our stay - simple kiwi bach literally a stones throw from the lake front! House was a great setup for our family with 2 teens and our dog. Great to have a BBQ for cooking during the summer months with back garden fully fenced with a good space for our dog. We will be back!
