Importante: guardaram nossas malas grandes quando fomos a Galápagos. Sempre ajudaram com um café mais cedo quando necessário. Funcionários solícitos. Café da manhã bom. Por 17 dólares é possível fazer late checkout até às 16h30, se houver disponibilidade.
É um hotel simples, sem requinte. Mas o custo benefício é excelente.

It is more of a hotel than a hostel. The rooms including the bed and the shower are very nice. The breakfast is good. The staff was extraordinarily friendly, especially Fernando who made a breakfast early in the morning before we had to leave for our flight possible.
The neighborhood is very lively and, therefore, comparatively safe. On the downside, it is quite loud at night. There is usually music and some barking dogs .

Friendliness of personnel and cleanliness
The place advertises with nice pictures of the terrace. This was the main reason for booking this place over others. However, this was undergoing maintenance and could not be used. We had to discover ourselves and the personnel didn’t seem to care much.

Very helpful and friendly staff-accommodating of our late arrival. Excellent breakfasts. Made our first day in Ecuador very easy before leaving for Galapagos. Walkable to artisan market, parks and museums. Arranged taxi to/from airport. Great value and service.
Hard climbing stairs but that has more to do with the altitude of Quito. No elevator.

The hostal is more than a hostal. The staffs are very helpful providing useful opinions for securing your safety. The room is very comfy and clean.

The receptionist was very helpful. They kept one of our bags for almost 20 days for free. Amazing experience. Thank you again.

The staff was very friendly, the breakfast good, the wifi very good. The location is on walk distance to the Foch Plaza where a lot of action is. The beds good, hot shower. So what else do you want.

The staff were extremely nice and helpful -- both during my stay and in arranging airport transport. The room was not huge, but comfortable and very clean. The breakfast at Terra was exceptional: several hot and cold options, fresh juice, and espresso drinks.
I never love it when I am making an effort to speak Spanish and staff respond in English. (My Spanish is not perfect, but is definitely functional in such contexts.) This happened a few times during my stay and always with the same female staff person. The other staff were very accommodating.

Private atmosphere with a clean and cozy room. The public terrace is as well very welcoming. Although it's located in the middle of downtown, it was very quite. We like the atmosphere and the bars and pubs are just 5 minutes by foot. Our receptionist speaks English and was very friendly. They even prepared breakfast at 05:30 am. Thanks. We will book another two days after our return from Galapagos Island.
