Nous vivons à moins de 5 minutes à pied de tout ce dont nous avons besoin ou voulons. Ce quartier a de belles maisons multifamiliales, beaucoup de nouvelles, mais surtout les originaux de 1910 à 1920, sur une rue assez bordée d'arbres. Les gens sont sympathiques et se promener est une activité courante. Le mélange de résidents est jeune et vieux, propriétaires et locataires, et l'ambiance est décidément heureuse d'être ici et au milieu du calme, il semble que les choses se passent.
Si vous aimez le flamenco, le café Kino sur Cambie est à 7 pâtés de maisons où c'est plusieurs soirs par semaine. Yek-O-Yek on Main est une excellente charcuterie du Moyen-Orient. Le meilleur café est le 49e parallèle sur Main ou directement sur Columbia jusqu'au 19e au Mighty Oak. Petits déjeuners incroyables au Slickety Jim's sur Main et 18e.

La Canada Line de l'aéroport au centre-ville (The Broadway Station) est à 6 pâtés de maisons. Chaque équipement nécessaire est de 3 à 5 pâtés de maisons faciles à pied. La ligne de bus de transit est / ouest (Broadway) est à 4 jarrets au sud. Les lignes de bus de transport en commun nord / sud sont à 3 pâtés de maisons à la fois sur Cambie (dans le centre-ville) et Main (vers China Town et Gas Town). Les voies cyclables sont tous les 4 pâtés de maisons dans toutes les directions et ont des fonctions d'apaisement de la circulation et sont largement utilisées. Mark was a very good host! Checking was a breeze. The house is in great condition.
-Pros: clean home, incredible location close to the Main Street, great privacy, updated bathrooms, beautiful front hard, fantastic neighborhood with loads of trees, and very spacious rooms. Mark id also very courteous, responsive and professional. This house has been meticulously cared for!
-Areas of improvements: they could provide basic necessities such as some milk, sugar, salt, pepper, paper towel as the kitchen was literally empty. Also note that the house was kept very warm -we would have appreciated if the cooler was consistently working. Portable Fans were provided for rooms. The big room king mattress was very uncomfortable (spring mattress) and I ended up sleeping on the first bedroom on which the mattress was good.
I recommend staying at this place and will surely return!

The apartment was in a wonderful location with easy access to downtown Vancouver. The apartment was clean and well equipped and we loved sharing a sundowner on the porch after a day of sightseeing or planning what we were going to do the next day. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay at this lovely property overlooking the Salish Sea. Tanya and Terry are marvelous hosts. The communication was great and they were there to greet us when we arrived. They also provided a lovely food tray consisting of fresh bread, butter, jam, granola, fresh eggs, chocolate bar, snack items, chips, coffee and tea. Very nice!
The property is spacious with a lovely view of the waterway between Vancouver Island and Washington state. It was comfortable to sit outside and look at the ocean while enjoying wine and gin and tonics watching the afternoon sunset.
I would highly recommend this property and hope to return the next time I come to Vancouver Island.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this apartment. The location is beautiful and easy to walk out from. The apartment had everything the two of us needed for 5 days and Mark the owner was very friendly, helpful and responsive.
We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We loved the house and the neighbourhood. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen had all of the amenities we needed. We would of liked to spend more time on the lovely front porch but it was a little chilly outside. Within walking distance to many coffee shops, restaurants and the train. A great place for a family or friends.

Everything about this VRBO is as described, though the porch is definitely bigger and nicer than the photos (it was our favorite spot for relaxing).
We really enjoyed the location since we could walk to parks, breweries, grocery store, coffee shops, live music and dancing, etc. There was a place to park our car, though we explored the area mostly on foot.

Wow. What a beautiful property. As advertised. It was very clean, quiet, spacious, had all of the amenities we needed and a large kitchen to prepare food. Lots of space for a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children) and having 2 separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 showers was very convenient. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. As for the location, we preferred that it wasn't downtown but not too far either. Only a 10 minute walk to a Skytrain station, and we enjoyed exploring a different neighbourhood of Vancouver (Main St, Cambie St) with great local stores, boutiques, coffee shops like 49th Parallel (donuts!) and restaurants nearby. There is a reserved car parking spot at the back of the property which was nice. Although we didn't use it much, there is a beautiful covered outdoor veranda with a table and chairs. Mark greeted us upon arrival and was very helpful with suggestions and ideas of things to do. A definite repeat if we come back to Vancouver! Thank you for having us!

We LOVED our brief stay here. It’s located on a beautiful quiet street located a few blocks away from 2 main corridors with shops & restaurants. The front porch is to die for. The kitchen is amazing. The rooms are spacious, beds comfy and 2 full bathrooms a bonus! Note: the second bedroom does not have an en-suite and requires navigation of 3 steps to get to a bathroom, motion sensing lights are in place to make this easily accomplished in the middle of the night!
The host was a great source of information and very responsive. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful time in this house. The area was so nice as well as the owners, very helpful and communicativ.We felt like in a village, quite area and the best thing was, we could walk to downtown (15-20 minutes).
Rooms were big, modern and very clean. Kitchen well equipped. We would stay here again.

We had the best time in Mark and Jo's house in Mt. Pleasant! It was a gorgeous neighborhood with lots of walk to and explore. Near metro stop and many coffee shops and restaurants in walking distance. The house was immaculate and our boys loved the room with the windows looking out to the beautiful tree lined street. My husband and I loved the porch. Mark was super helpful through out the stay with suggestions and recommendations when we had questions. Plus so hospitable. For a family, this was a terrific place for us and our favorite accommodations in BC!

My wife, toddler and I had a wonderful stay at Mark and Joanne's wonderful suite in Mount Pleasant. Located very centrally, the home is within walking distance of many great shops and restaurants in the area. Check-in was seamless and friendly with the assistance of property manager Dee, and communication leading up to our visit was very clear and helpful. The suite is spacious, well-appointed and clean. And has a lovely front porch perfect for an al fresco dinner. Thank you for having us!

The neighborhood is spectacular - close to everything with many cafes and restaurants within walking distance. We went to a lovely nearby coffee shop everyday of our stay. The house is very cute and clean. It is a renovated old pre-war home and thus we could hear the people upstairs watching tv and walking but it didn’t really bothered us. Thanks for having us!

The house was so comfortable to stay in. We loved the tree lined streets in the neighborhood and there were so many people out and about walking their dogs....it made it feel more like home.

Our family of four (kids 13 and 14) absolutely loved staying at Mark and Jo’s place. The communication throughout the 6+ months prior to our arrival was always super prompt, informative and friendly. Mark met us upon arrival to show us around and their place has everything you could possibly need. It is exactly as per the photos (if anything, even better). The neighbourhood is beautiful, quiet and safe but also a very close walk to lots of restaurants, shops, grocery store, and the train station. Buses were easily accessible and we walked to and from downtown several times. Mark and Jo were super helpful with recommendations and answering our questions (even about who and how much to tip 😂)
The beds were super comfy, the home warm and dry. Kitchen was full stocked with everything you may need, laundry was great (loved the felt dryer balls!) and even had a great coffee maker with all supplies!
We visited 31 Dec to 4 Jan and never heard another neighbour and had the bonus of snow, festive lights and even did the Polar Bear Dip on NY day!
Don’t think twice - book this awesome Airbnb! We certainly hope to again!

What a perfect location for a stay in Vancouver - easy access to cafe's, supermarket and transport. e.g. Easy walk to Olympic Village where you can grab a ferry. Comfortable beds and everything we needed. Mark met us on arrival and was very welcoming and offered fantastic advice for our stay in Vancouver.

This accommodation was top quality and the hosts were so kind and responsive to any questions. We were welcomed upon arrival, and the apartment was perfect for us for biking and walking. Great biking lanes nearby, and we loved the whole experience. We highly recommend this location and apartment.

There’s not much we can add to the many accolades that have already been said about the joys of dealing with mark and jo and the absolute pleasure of staying at their well designed, comfortable and well situated house. Still, a few things to highlight. When mark told us to let them know if we needed anything, it was a genuine offer. Within minutes of asking whether he might have a steamer basket, he brought one over. When we asked if he knew anything about how much time we should allow to catch the ferry to Bowen island, he said he would check with his friend who was taking the same trip the day we asked. When we asked him his thoughts on some hiking areas we were considering, he not only weighed in but gave us more suggestions.
As someone already mentioned, the house truly is on the prettiest street in the neighborhood. The bathtub was divine and the water pressure in the shower was powerful enough to get through my thick head of hair. And for those of us allergy sufferers, the ubiquitous boxes of Kleenex were especially appreciated. Finally, it was refreshing that mark did not present us with a list of things we needed to do before leaving. That seems to be a rarity for vacation rentals these days and added to the already immense satisfaction of staying here.
We would have stayed again on our return trip to Vancouver, but the house was booked, as usual! It’s no surprise why mark and Jo’s place is in such high demand.
This delightful couple could write the book on hospitality.

2 young senior couples stayed 2 nights at Mark & Jo's place. It worked out perfectly for us - 2 bdrms, 2 bathrms, all on one floor, once up initial steps to rental which were no problem. The location is residential and on a beautiful street. Walked 3 blocks to Main St where there were MANY dining options. The unit was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable, safe stay. Response to any questions we had was excellent, informative, and quick. And meeting Dee, their on-site property mgr, in the owners' absence, was truly a highlight! She was so helpful & friendly. Thank you. We would absolutely rent this VRBO again.

This may be on one of the most beautiful tree lined streets in Vancouver! While there was a bit of confusion first trying to get the code for entry into the unit, the property owner Mark showed up and couldn’t have been nicer. He gave us a great orientation to the house and neighborhood. W”He also gave us some helpful suggestions as to where to dine. House was very comfortable. We stayed during a heat wave and while there was only one air conditioning unit, with the provided fans the place cooled down nicely. Great front porch too! Loved our stay here and would definitely come back if in town.

Charming neighborhood house
What a charming house built in 1911 on a tree lined street with similar houses. Our unit was recently totally redone inside but retaining the old world charm outside. The owner meet us and walked us through the nuances of the property. This was a nice personal touch! The house is on a quiet street. Parking for our car in the alley behind. The furniture is on the minimal side but adequate. The first night we walked to a nearby Thai restaurant and enjoy the beauty of the house and neighborhood. We ate our meal on the huge covered front porch in front. The house is within walking distance of many nearby shops and eating places plus not far from downtown. The property is well maintained and would definitely stay here again!
