I loved the experience I had at Annodas, the house was very clean, quiet and the WiFi speed was amazing. I travelled for work and the environment was very conducive for concentration and productivity. What amazed me was how clean the house was and the fact that it was closer to town. I would definitely recommend a friend or a family member

Salon ist wunderbar eingerichtet und bequem. Schöne Moskito-sichere Terrasse. Zimmer im Hauptgebäude super und bequem. Das Frühstück war völlig in Ordnung. Lage ist recht zentral, nahe Seeufer.
Meist nur Kleinigkeiten. Unterkunft ist schwer zu finden (s. Foto der Ansicht von der Straße)! Selbst wenn man davor seht: kein Schild. Wie so oft in Kenya, werden kleine Schäden einfach nicht repariert. Hier war es ein lockerer Wasserhahn im Bad. Auf dem Frühstückstisch stand ein fast leeres Marmelade-glas. Ersatz wurde sofort besorgt, man musste aber selber schauen, wie man sich durch die diversen Schutzschichten durcharbeitet. Zusätzlicher Toast: kein Problem, man musste ihn aber selbst aus der Küche holen, weil das Mädchen es wohl vergessen hatte. Zimmer im Nebengebäude sehr spartanisch, Licht im Bad defekt.

Great location. Close to Victoria Lake and touristic places and restaurants. Hidden and private place. Very nice and clear house. Staff are working hard to make it clean. We felt at home. Very sweet owner. It was good to be with her family and know her. Such a blessing! Warm, secure and quiet place. Possibility to eat there for the dinners and suppers. Delicious food served. We highly recommend this place.
Staff forgot to put toilet papers and soap.
Breakfast: Having fried eggs almost every morning. We would appreciate more variability.
Sometimes the TV was too loud and the baby was screaming in the early morning.
A mini fridge available in the room would have been appreciated to feel more comfortable to take our drinks instead of sharing a mini fridge in common.
2 set of key will be appreciated instead of only one for a couple.
A small discount would have been appreciated for the lunch meals not taken and lack of toilet paper and soap.

Everything! The place is clean, super comfortable and spacious designed. Lilian and Molly are Wonderfull hosts and always open to help with anything. Breakfast was great and plenty and the wifi and Netflix worked perfectly. Location-wise its a very safe and quiet area, yet maximum 5 minutes drive from any interesting place in Kisumu. Literally nothing we would change!

The room was nice, but you really feel like you are walking through someones livingroom to get there. Everything ruined at the end when they tried to scam us on money.
The owner tried to scam us and get money for a broken handle that we had nothing to do. Threatened to press charges. Crazy lying scammer.

Beautiful house, easy to find neighborhood location, simply but comfortably furnished (though see comments about the third and fourth bedrooms), well stocked. I would definitely stay again if I didn't need the third or fourth bedroom, or if I was staying with children.
Bookings showed four bedrooms. The third bedroom was to be with bunkbeds, though they used air mattresses. Despite their nice presentation, I expected more than an air mattress in a house at this price and of this quality. The fourth bedroom was to be with a double bed. Rather, the room was the enclosed back porch with a futon and only a futon. The first two rooms were excellent, but the third and fourth rooms were not what was shown on the site. Spoiled the stay for one of three visitors.

A great home in a quiet neighborhood. Clean and modern throughout. Comfortable rooms and great beds and hot showers. They even prepared the most delicious meals (seriously delicious) for the team. We had use of the central living space and the veranda as well. The family was also here with us but were not at all intrusive, very kind. Absolutely do it again!
Perhaps have trusted contacts for tuktuks or pikipikis, though this was not a hardship.
