Our vacation wasn’t long enough. We truly enjoy staying here. This house is perfect for my family of 5 and my two doodles. It’s got everything you need. I love the layout and open concept. If I’d add anything to this perfect get away, is a TV in the master bedroom. Other than that, this place is PERFECT!

We really loved this house for our long weekend in SPI. We were 6 adults and the open floor plan made for a very comfortable stay. The kitchen is well stocked. Bathrooms are nice. There’s a decent sized fenced yard. The patio area is not fancy, but it’s functional. Two outside showers came in very handy. The walk to the beach is about 2 blocks, so not bad. All-in-all, we really enjoyed our time.

This house was a great place to stay! The location is great with so many options for beaches right by you and a resteraunt right across the street! Outside area was great to hang out in and inside was super cozy. Check in process was super easy as well with just a door code!

We LOVED it! So spacious and clean the outside was amazing we absolutely recommend!!! We didn’t get to go to the beach much so we had a lot of hangout time at this rental and it was worth it!

The Esperanza house was a terrific getaway home. The location was perfect, very clean and spacious and everything worked. We simply loved the enclosed backyard for our fur babies. We did have an issue with the back fence, but it was resolved that same day. Response time was quick. We all simply loved our stay and look forward to staying in the future. Thanks again!

The Esperanza Escape is a charming property that goes exactly with the South Padre Island (SPI) atmosphere. The house is built on stilts as many SPI homes are due to the hurricane risk. This creates some undulating flooring (as noted in other reviews), which I thought was pretty fun. The house was well equipped and clean, and served our needs and then some. I would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at this house many many times over the years. Always enjoy it. House needs alot of work, seems to be skiding into disrepair. Sad, because it's such a Great place and we live it. We stayed there fir a week in Oct. "Insta Hot" water heating system was not working. We just stayed again last week for a long weekend and it's still not working properly. You have hot water just long enough to get soaped up and then straight cold!!! It seems to then come and go, so you spend your entire shower getting scalded or frozen out!!! Arrived to the house and dishwasher was open and on, closed the door to the dishwasher and water began poiring out of the left side all over the kitchen floor. House has settled so much the deadbolts in the bedrooms that access the backyard deck to not work. You are left with just the doorknob lock as security for the outer bedroom doors. House needs some TLC!!!!

My family and I spent a week here over Thanksgiving. The house was plenty of room for us all and the fenced off yard was perfect for our dog who also loved the front porch which has a roll gate. He spent so much time out there just laying and watching the people and cars go by. The house was well equipped for 5 guests, and the kitchen was easy to manuveuver and cook in. Super easy walk to the beach I recommend the Butterfly Garden beach access, but Poinsettia has lovely vegetation around the board walk so we alternates. Wanna Wannas beach bar was a easy beach walk from the house. It's right in walking distance to multiple restaurants and an ice cream place. Personally my favorite thing about the place was the original art. I spent a lot of time in the mornings sipping coffee and looking at the paintings. We would definitely stay here again.

We have been renting this house for years. We love it!!! Our stay this time was I guess unfortunate. Upon arrival the dishwasher was fully loaded with dirty dishes that looked like had been there at least a week. The "insta hot" system that controls the hot water is not working properly, you have to continuously be reseting it just to take a shower. Young lady from Rent on Padre did arrange a plumber to come out but it was one of those 4 hour window things. With our plans and fushing on the water we could never get them out. Again, we love this property and the folks @ Rent on Padre are the Best. Just seems like there has been no investment in the property that is in desperate need of some work.

This was a wonderful property, clean, modern and cozy! We had a great time walking to the beach every day, coming home for lunch and a nap and then going back to the beach. We played games in the living room, enjoyed evenings on the balcony. And there was even a place for our sweet dog!
The kitchen was the perfect size for us all to make a nice dinner. And a fun restaurant just right across the street. We watched fireworks from our balcony. And had all the conveniences of a grocery store, dollar general and gift / souvenirs shopping within walking distance. Can’t wait to come back!

The location was great. It's within walking distance to the beach which was a plus. The check-in process was a breeze. There were a couple issues that I wanted to point out. The kitchen sink is not fully functional. The master restroom hardly flushed. The dryer did not dry your clothes and the lint contraption was broken so items like socks and underwear would fall in there. The house seemed like it was bulging up in the dining/living room which was weird to me.

Super roomy indoors and out, and it had everything that we needed to be able to cook, grill, play games, entertain ourselves when resting from the beach activities. Outdoor shower a plus. Picnic tables below the house and a nice outdoor deck from two of the bedrooms. Never felt crowded even with ten people in the house. Highly recommend this place and hope to be back soon.

This place was perfect for our big family, there was plenty of room for us all. The lights in the dining area did not always work for us but wasnt a big deal since there was plenty of lighting in the kitchen and living area. My family already said they want to book here again for our annual South Padre trip next year.

Decent place. Booked for the open living concept and to spend Thanksgiving with family at the beach. Kitchen was poorly stocked with old pots/pans, dirty silverware, not enough trash bags and common necessities. Washer/dryer did not work. House flooring was badly warped and house shook when you walked. I wouldn’t stay here again, unfortunately.

It was only my wife and me, and our two toy poodles, so we only used the master bedroom and bath. The hot water did take some time to come out the faucets, and the living room floor does have a crown in it, but neither of these things would keep us from staying at this property again. The yard was in great shape. There are hooks in the carport/covered patio for two hammocks and it was very comfortable underneath, even on a hot day. The beach is an easy 5 minute walk. Eateries and shopping across the street. Has an outdoor shower. Property management was courteous and easy to conduct business.

Beach house had plenty of space and room to sleep our group of 10 with multiple options for sleeping. Loved the patio space underneath with hammock and shower as well as the large deck on top. It was only a short walk to the beach, the place was in the middle of the island short drive anywhere. Really nice to have a w/d in the home, the large island for eating/cooking and large showers.
