The house was immaculate and the property was stunning. Thank you to Lauren for making the whole process smooth and stress free. Everyone, ranging from age 85 to 15 had a great time and did not want to leave. We will definitely be back!

What a wonderful week! The house is just beautiful and extremely comfortable, the walk through the woods to the water is magical, and the pond is just perfect for swimming and kayaking. Lauren was incredibly welcoming and helpful. We highly recommend this incredible property.

Clearwater Cabin was the perfect place for some quality down time to gather with our adult children & grandson. During our stay, we only went as far as the center of Livingston Manor to explore the shops. Our time together was spent primarily on the water, first early morning with coffee listening for birds while using our Merlin app to identify any new calls were not familiar with. On 2 occasions we were treated with Eagle sightings over the water!! We thoroughly enjoyed spending the day paddle boarding & kayaking and found it very easy to immediately relax.

We had a truly special Memorial Day weekend at the "Dreamy Cabin." We are a family group of grandparents, our children, and grandchildren (6-10). The house itself was perfect for us. The kids took over the bunkbed room and the downstairs playroom (well equipped!) became their "Kids Hideout!" Plenty of room for all 10 of us! The house itself is beautiful with super comfy beds and a kitchen with everything you could possibly need for cooking. We had all our meals at the house as we enjoy summer barbecues and cooking.. however there are several restaurants in town. As great as the house is, we weren't prepared for the beauty of the property... a short walk down a path through the woods you come to the lake which couldn't have been more perfect for us (especially the children, who spent hours each day boating, swimming, catching little critters, etc. etc.) Many boats, paddleboards, tubes, etc. are provided and all the equipment you could need is conveniently stored in the gazebo. What makes the lake special is it's sandy bottom and the fact that it is shallow enough for at least 50 feet that even young children can safely swim and play in it. Comfortable chairs are spread out in sunny and shady areas.
We are hoping to come again next summer!!

Our stay was truly delightful. The location was superb, and the hosts, John and Lauren, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Exploring the lake and the scenic trails around the property was a picturesque experience. We took our dogs along, and they relished exploring the grounds by our side. Our intention is to revisit with our family in September.

We spent a week at the cabin as a family and couldn’t have asked for better. A beautiful and very well-equipped home, very clean, seamless and welcoming communication with the owners. The property is huge and secluded, with lots of special spots to hang and enjoy. Awesome lake. We also loved the local area and visiting the shops, restaurants and breweries. Highly recommend!

Wow, this home exceeded our expectations!
Cozy cabin in the charming town of Livingston Manor.
This was the perfect place for our family to celebrate Thanksgiving. We were 8 adults, 6 kids and 2 dogs!
Lauren was a perfect host. She was so patient with all of my questions and really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. This is not just a rental - this is a much loved home for Lauren.
The layout is perfect - large kitchen, cozy living room where we enjoyed fires, watching football and playing games.
The kids loved the bunkbed rooms and the stuffed animals on the beds. Bedrooms and bath were nicely decorated, fresh and clean. And the downstairs game room was a hit with the kids and adults! Ping pong, air hockey, foozball, large tv for the kid's to watch movies. It was the perfect spot to keep everyone entertained.
We had s'mores by the fire, took walks in the woods and some of the girls took a long walk into town and perused the shops.
Our family will cherish the memories we made here and we would love to come back again!

Very relaxing stay at a beautiful property! We enjoyed the fall foliage through the beautiful floor to ceiling windows! The fireplace was gorgeous! Wood provided. Plenty of games indoors for the kids! And we enjoyed a very well stocked kitchen! Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were nice also. Would highly recommend.

Clean, beautiful property with fantastic lakeside location. Lake is very shallow for the first 50-75 yards making it an excellent play area for kids and dogs. Towns of Livingston Manor and nearby Roscoe had ample things to do for my entire family of 8 adults and one 2 year old. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at this property! It is beautifully situated on a large pond, with a charming path through the woods (complete with hammocks in the clearings) to access it. We took full advantage of the kayaks and paddle boards to get out in the water, and roasted marshmellows for smores almost every night. The house was well appointed with all we could need.

The house and outdoor space is incredible. Most of our time was spent by the lake, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding which were all provided and just relaxing. The new large deck with comfortable furniture and screened in gazebo by the lake made it that much more enjoyable. Lauren was very responsive and had great recommendations for food and hiking in the area.
The home is very well stocked! Beds were very comfortable, tons of towels for both bath and lakeside. There was even a crib and highchair!
Many of us made use of the Peloton bike in the basement game room which was an added bonus.
Highly recommend this beautiful lake home!

We loved staying at Clearwater Cabin! The place was perfect to house 2 grandparents, 1 great uncle, 1 family with 2 adults and a 3 year old, and another family with 2 adults and 2 children ages 7 and 10, and another sibling. There is a ton of space in the house, everything is clean and well stocked -- it's a wonderful place for kids. We loved our dinners on the deck, days at the lake, and nighttime pingpong & air hockey tournaments. Also lovely to be close to town, but truthfully we enjoyed our stay so much that we mostly stayed put ;) Lauren is a fantastic host -- very attentive, and put tons of care and love into creating a true respite and vacation home. Highly recommend!

Twelve of us - ranging in age from 22 - 86, spent a wonderful week at Clearwater. The house is beautiful - clean and comfortable. The kitchen is incredibly well-outfitted: high-grade cookware and every small appliance you could want. Amenities including body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, made the house feel even more luxurious. The bedding and towels are good quality and abundant. The bedrooms are cozy and comfortable: good mattresses, blackout shades, fine new sheets and duvets. We all loved all the nooks and crannies (inside and out) for reading. It was hot while we were there, but the A/C kept us nice and cool. And the lake? Just beautiful. It's about a 4-minute walk down a winding, clearly marked path. The decks with lounges and chairs and the screened gazebo made it so we could stay there all day if we wanted to. The lake itself is clean and quiet (no loud motorboats). There’s not much going on in Livingston Manor or the nearby towns during the week, but things picked up on the weekend. If not for our family’s rule about not visiting the same place twice, we’d definitely be back!

Wonderful Stay, Exceeded Expectations!
My family and I booked the Clearwater cabin for the Christmas Holiday. Everything about the experience was simply wonderful. The communication, the cleanliness of the home, the decor throughout the house and the Christmas decorations were perfect. The cabin was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the owners even went out of their way to place candy canes on the kids bunkbeds along with stuffed animals. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed, the basement had tons of fun games and the home was in a perfect location for us to take daily walks and even did some sledding! It snowed the evening we arrived which made the experience magical:)
We loved our stay and appreciated all the effort that went into making our holiday stay perfect. 5 stars, highly recommend!!

Fantastic Family Getaway
We had a terrific time at this cabin. This home is beautiful, well appointed, peaceful and perfect for the whole family. The owner was extremely responsive, personal and a pleasure to work with. The lake is quiet, clean and peaceful plus this cabin offers fun toys, kayak, paddle board and row boat that the entire family can enjoy.
We were a group of 9, there was plenty of space and things for all of us to enjoy. We highly recommend this property especially if looking for a perfect place to unwind and recharge!

Our extended family had a magical lake vacation at Clearwater Cabin. We had everything we needed to enjoy wonderful family meals, outdoor time and soooo much fun swimming in the lake!

Great house and location!
We were a party of 13 staying at Clearwater Cabin, 6 adults and 7 kids ranging in age from 7-13. The house was lovely and clean. Lauren was very attentive and responded to questions quickly. The bathrooms were fine, but two of them lacked surfaces to put belongings and the showers in two were very small. The outside areas are well maintained, near the house and by the water. The walk to the water was nice and the hammocks in the woods were a great touch. The waterfront area had plenty of seating. Water shoes are necessary for walking through to the floating dock. The bottom is sandy, but there were muscles all over and a few of us cut our feet. There was only one kayak and one paddle board, which was an issue with 7 kids, but there were a good number of tubes for floating. Lauren's welcome book was very well done and informative.
Overall, we had a pleasant and relaxing week at Clearwater Cabin!

Our three-generation family gathering was comfortable, convenient and relaxing thanks to Lauren's hospitality and the amenities at Clearwater Cabin. Lexington Manor has excellent restaurants and Sand Pond was a big hit with adults and kids alike. We'd love to come back!

Amazing stay at Clearwater Cabin!!
My family and I have been blessed with renting many amazing vacation homes in the US and abroad. The Clearwater Cabin was definitely one of our favorites.
The property was exceptional, it had everything that we needed.
The kitchen was fully stocked… I mean fully! We have never seen anything like it. It felt like we were visiting a relatives home.
The house was a perfect size for our group of 10 adults and our dog. We had enough room to relax and not get in each other‘s way. The outside was magnificent! The pond, the fire pit, and the outdoor seating area were just perfect! The pond was only a short walk down a wooded path to a beautiful dock (stocked with multiple water sports) and waterfront lounging areas.
Lauren, the owner was a delight to work with. She responded quickly to our questions that we had concerning our stay.
We're so happy we chose Clearwater Cabin for our summer vacation!

A Fabulous Vacation Home
Our family of 12 enjoyed a wonderful time at this fabulous house. It was filled with everything we needed for a relaxing and exciting lake vacation. The host provided us with a fully organized kitchen ready for us to prepare 3 meals a day. The kids loved the basement with games, books and ping pong table as well as so much more. Beds were comfortable and towels were plentiful as well as towels for the lake. Everyone enjoyed the lake toys: kayak, paddle board, rowboat and floats to name just a few. The property was meticulously landscaped with hammocks and chairs ready for us to use. We were so fortunate to have found such a great house and look forward to coming back next year!

Different season, Same joy!
We just love this house. It was our 2nd time at Clearwater Cabin, and the springtime was a whole new experience. This is truly a 4 season house, and Lauren continues to make the most incredible upgrades from adding additional sun decks to small cozy touches to the house. The kitchen has EVERYTHING you need and more but there are some new places to eat in Livingston Manor (hello, Walk In). I think we will be coming back in summer if we can get our act together. Thank you, Lauren, for being such an incredible host and making our getaway so special!!

Beautiful property
The house was fantastic. Great space, very clean, comfy beds, stocked with kitchen amenities, and our teens loved having basement to hang out on their own. The property offers a has beautiful woods that makes if feel secluded and peaceful. Used he out door fire bit a few nights. Owner provides great suggestions for things to do in surrounding area. We stopped in the Upwards Brewery and enjoyed bonfire. Excellent stay, would highly recommend.

Delightful few days outside the city
This was the absolute perfect getaway for a multi-generational family. The house is quite large and cozy with a great living room and fireplace. Meanwhile, the kids had a blast hanging downstairs in the basement. The kitchen is fully equipped and meals were easy to accommodate everyone. The walk down to the lake is stunning and woodsy. And even though we can’t swim this time of year, it was lovely to sit down there on a sunny day. I can’t wait to come back in the summer and take advantage of the lake and beautiful deck.
The owner is a dream to coordinate with and she couldn’t have been more available for any last minute questions we had. Livingston Manor is the cutest town. We loved being so close to this growing and evolving community!

My family and I rented the cabin during the week of Thanksgiving and we had such a wonderful time. The house is perfect, clean and fully stocked, it had everything we needed! The property was absolutely gorgeous! We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be coming back in the future!

Second Stay - Just as Good as the First!
This is our second year staying at Clearwater. The house is great, the kitchen is one of the best equipped kitchens of any house we have rented and the yard is fantastic. The town has a well stocked grocery store and an adjacent liquor store with a wide variety of choices. We will be back again next year!

Long weekend fall getaway
We took advantage of a long weekend (school wise) to stay at the cabin for a few days. It was a perfect size for two families and one set of grandparents. Kids loved the game room downstairs with ping pong, air hockey and gaming area. Our dogs loved the wooded walk to the lake and the shallow waters. House was well stocked with kitchen appliances and condiments. We used the instapot three times. The living room was cozy and a great place to nap.The day hikes and local farms were fun for the kids. Lauren, the owner, was very responsive and helpful with suggestions. We will definitely try and visit when the weather is warmer to fully enjoy the lake.

Perfect secluded getaway
Our family and dog had a wonderful time at clearwater cabin! The cabin is well furnished with everything you could need, modern, cozy, and located in a secluded area - perfect for a relaxing getaway. We especially enjoyed taking walks down to the beautiful lake and having s'mores by the campfire at night.

Really quiet pristine spot in Catskills mountains. Really enjoyed the rustic feel. Adults all tried to work from the house but internet and cell signal did not make it easy. Everything was just great.

Nice getaway
We had a very nice getaway at this cabin in the woods. The walk down to the pond was really nice and we really enjoyed swimming and kayaking in the lake as well as the firepit at night. Kitchen was well stocked. And there were not a lot of bugs or mosquitoes.

Wonderful and relaxing!
We enjoyed a relaxing and lovely week at Clearwater Cabin! Everything was immaculate and exactly as described. The fully stocked kitchen and grill made cooking in easy and enjoyable. And several yummy restaurants are close by for takeout and dining in. There’s plenty of space to spread out and the bedrooms are comfy. We had lots of fun in the basement game room playing ping pong and air hockey. The gorgeous lake is only a 2 minute walk through the woods- we all enjoyed swimming, wading, paddle boarding and kayaking every day! Our kids especially had fun catching frogs and salamanders! I told the wonderful owner Lauren that she has a little slice of heaven there- and we cannot wait to go back!!!
