It was nice and excellent. Just the bathtub is too slippery. Maybe need non-slippery mat? I like the room, it’s spacious and worth the money! Definitely will stay here again!

Old fashioned, rusty. Food quality below standard. I one selection in Bar non existent. Really a shame Prices food and drinks exorbitant. Rooms have old bathtubs shower head is about 160 cm high. So cannot stand while showering. Really horrible experience

Variasi menu breakfast yang hampir selalu sama dari hari ke hari. Mungkin perlu menyajikan masakan² Indonesia/tradisional lebih beragam. Colokan listrik di unit apartemen untuk kaki 3, tak terduga dan merepotkan.

We travelled around Indonesia and this was our 3rd hotel in a week. There was poo 💩 in our toilet and the room smells when we checked-in. Thus, they changed our room and towels were totally wet in the next room too. The hotel wasn't clean compared to a 4-star we went 5 days before. Everything was expensive. $9 for a glass of juice! $8 for a cup of coffee!! They have only one shower gel for body and hair! No conditioner for hair! We didn't feel comfortable so we went out an stayed out until midnight. Thank God we booked it only for 1 night. Waste of money. We could spend half on a much newer and cleaner hotel.

Good value for money. Dated but looked after. I was there with kids. The pool was amazing. The grounds were lovely and an escape from the city. We had a train to catch, so the location was good. Buffet was ok

The location is excellent, and precisely because it's an old hotel, it occupies such a large area in the city center. The garden and pool are fantastic. There are many choices for breakfast, which is great.

Remember to tip the bellboy first; otherwise, even if you wait for over half an hour in your room and go downstairs to remind them twice, your luggage will still be left unattended in the lobby. I had no choice but to take my luggage back to the room myself. And the hotel will try to explain to you that there was no one in your room. Also, I answered the explain phone in the bathroom because it was the only phone that was working properly.

It's so nice place and location. Well maintained hotel. Good breakfast and wonderful garden.

It’s a good location and the rooms are ok. Huge breakfast buffet but not really internationally oriented. Must be Indonesian to enjoy the various dishes.

I have stayed at Hotel Borobudur countless over the past 20 years travelling for business, but first time since Covid. Everything seemed to be same, and we especially liked some of the lighting upgrades outside, and the outside decking around to the Lounge and Churchill Bar. Staff were pleasant and helpful in most cases.

The wifi was terrible and needs to be fixed. I pointed it out to reception several times and they said that their IT will call me but never happened. I put in some laundry early in the morning for same day delivery and it never arrived. I needed it same day because we were checking out early next morning. I was told it couldn't be delivered because I didn't open a credit facility and that it could not be charged back to my room. I was never told this and it delayed my business travel. As mentioned I have stayed many times and this was very disappointing, and has never happened before so assume there has been a silly change in policy. Unless I get a formal explanation I won't be staying again, or my staff.
