Friendly staff. Good sized room. Good place for relaxation. Pool area nice

Poor for vegetarian, gluten and dairy free on the restaurant dinner menu. We had to eat elsewhere after first night. A little thought and a couple of simple GF pasta, tagine or veggie curry additions to the menu would be good. Breakfast by contrast was well catered for

Unfortunately our room had a window that was blacked out ,if we'd known this ,we would probably have chosen a different hotel

Die Zimmer und das Bad haben eine komfortable Größe. Es empfhielt sich ein Zimmer zum Golfplatz hin zu buchen. Zum Parkplatz hin ist doch bis spät in die Nacht Bewegung und Lärm.

Das Frühstück ist für deutsche Gäste eintönig. Kärgliches Müsli und Marmeladentoast. Die Tische werden nur schleppend abgeräumt. Wir waren am Wochenende und dem folgenden Bankfeiertag in diesem Hotel. Leider fehlt es an der für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie dann an der nötigen Ruhe. Jungesellen/innen Abschiede, Golfcliquen und sonstige Parties werden ausgiebig und laut gefeiert.

Large room with excellent facilities. The staff were very attentive and happy to help.

There was no menu at breakfast and no obvious cooked breakfast choice apart from a full English or parts of it. As a 4 star hotel I think that items such as Eggs Benedict, Scrambled Eggs with Salmon etc should have been available.

No outdoor light. Promised by staff someone would fix it …. No one arrived. Attitude of reception staff. No remote in room 125 . Spa treatment was faulty . Tables filthy in the bar area . We had to ask them to clean our table

We paid £480 or a 2 night stay. It was simply not worth this. 1. We paid an additional £30 for 2 sandwiches and 2 coffees. Both the sandwiches were the wrong order and the quality was very poor. Other than breakfast (which was pre-paid), we chose not to eat in the hotel again after this. 2. The lounge area was quiet, yet the tables not been wiped. The area was not very clean. 3. The restrooms on the ground floor had not been cleaned for 2 days (according to the hotel's own sign board in the toilet). They looked like a motorway service station toilet and there was no soap or sanitizer to clean your hands. 4. There was a wedding on the 2nd night and this kept us awake until 2pm from the accompanying Disco and banging of doors. 5. We were not advised at check-in that the room would not be cleaned (towels refreshed) after the first night. There was a small card in the room explaining this, but we had not spotted this. We had to go to Reception to get additional supplies and request new towels. 6. Other than our room, the hotel appeared dirty and unloved. I have spent more than 1,500 nights in hotels over the last 20 years and have a balanced view as to what to expect and rarely complain. At this price point the hotel should have had touches of luxury; but it fell well short of this. We would have been underwhelmed had we paid 50% of what we did.

Good location and reception and var areas look nice and kept clean

Obviously, we expected golfers but not rude and loud ones!! The Hotel (especially our room) is showing signs of age... marked skirting boads, pealing paint, and wallpaper. The spa, too, is in need of a refurbishment. Also, dirty glasses, plates and empty bottles outside peoples room were not removed for hours!!
