It was clean and kinda close to every store. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Everything was easy to use

The parking was so tight, scraping one of our side doors, and we didn't know how to use the elevator, but we did eventually

Paid heaps but got room below expectations

The location is great, there's minimal road noise and even though I have a lengthy list of things that could improve I feel like the on sale price I paid was fair for the condition of the rooms and level of service we received. Probably not the place to stay if you're looking for a romantic, boujee, pamper weekend but if you're looking for somewhere affordable to sleep while you hit up the city's food & bar spots and you don't plan to be at the hotel all that much Parkside is great. We parked under the building for $35 / night, the lifts take you right to your floor so coming and going doesn't feel monitored, we only saw one other guest throughout our stay so it was easy to feel comfortable in your space.

The hotel furnishings are tired, the bed was out of shape from over use, the carpet is coming away from the wall that was warping from the spa bath that opens into the bedroom area. The room was tidy but there are things that need seeing to, like proper mold, dust and grout cleaning and the bath, basin and sink wastes / taps could use a good proper scrub I requested house keeping at check in for the following day that never came.

Great views tidy and clean with comfortable bed and couch and stuff are very welcoming.

No outlet for the steam in bathroom

Just more breakfast options if possible & faster network service but everything else was amazing

It was in a good location

It advertised parking, but did not mention it had to be booked. So we turned up and had to find parking around hotel. Bathrooms need to be updated, exhaust fans didn't really work after showers. Bathrooms not as clean as expected. Night staff were rude, not worth the money we spent.

Nice beds, lovely room.

A lot of noise from the constructionsite in front of our room, this was not so nice because we had a very big yetlag and wanted to rest and sleep.

Great location and very helpful that they were able to give us a large carpark for our big SUV.

The kitchen cupboards were coming off the hinges

The place is really old. Untidy, seems like no housekeeping has been done from ages. Photos will talk for itself. Air conditioning is the worst part. Moulds everywhere in room. Raised issue with AC several times and they said it’s because of the recent flooding in Auckland Which wasn’t satisfactory for me. This place needs a serious clean, and a handful of maintenance. I asked them to give me refund as I was stressed and the accommodation ruined my trip to be honest. They refused because I have already started my stay with them so they can’t do the refund. It doesn’t make any sense as I have to check in to know the issues. On the day 2 they offered me a room change which is a bigger room with no Wifi signal at all. The AC was still not good but adjustable. I didn’t bother to complain about the wifi reception as i feels like that doesn’t make any difference.

The Superior rooms are spacious and stylish, quiet and the bed very comfortable. Have stayed several times for the space, comfort and convenience to K Road which has better restaurants than the CBD these days. Pool was clean and a great temperature (heated!) and same with the spa.

Pool area is a bit run down, torn cushions on pool loungers etc, no changing area, you need to take your towels down. No bar or cafe, no minibar, so take whatever you need. Decor in hallways is rather tired and boring - beige beige beige, could do with a facelift.

The 2 of us stayed a couple of nights prior to cruising. The liaction was 20 minute walk to Queens Wharf and on way to Sky Tower. Good size delux room wirh cooking facilities.

Had it not been the wettest week ever and shops flooding it would have been awesome!.

Nice view and good location

Reception staff were very pleasant made me feel welcome. Appreciated the breakfast delivery, pleasant lady brought the breakfast tray to our room at the time we requested. Nice continental breakfast, good sized portions. The room was nice & clean. Comfortable bed.

The dishwasher didn't seem to clean dishes, & water was left in the bottom. We returned to our room, after going out. To find the door wasn't closed properly. The bed had been made, & clean towels, so the housekeeper must have left the door ajar. Fortunately nothing was taken.

the pool was lovely !

When we first checked in the room had trash on the bench and stuff in the fridge , i went down to reception and told them expecting a small refund or somthing to compensate but i got nothing. house keeping should know better.

The location, the view, the room and the cleaner’s work

The reception staff were downright rude. The breakfast was one of the worst things I’ve ever seen. The toilet seat was broken and despite reporting it on the first night nothing was done about it. Just really appalling service.

Clean kitchen and xtra large bed and balcony

Our room had no air conditioning for our entire stay, there was an error on the control panel. Also the shower door was missing the rubber seal so water was leaking and flooding the floor, so had a big clean up after each shower, the bathroom could do with some attention!!

Close to sky tower and queen street

The TV kept turning on and the aircon kept making a high pitch squeal from time to time.

Friendly and welcoming. Very clean and tidy good value for money
