First of all hotel is just beautiful! Comfortable rooms decorated so that you feel like you are back in the past of Vienna. Just a touch of tacky, but not really tacky. Location is great and service is perfect. Their signature cocktails in their bar are delightful and the bar itself is beautiful and really pleasant. My highest recommendation for their OPUS restaurant. Go for all of the courses and make sure to go for wine pairing, they know what they are doing. Restaurant maybe doesn’t look much, but food is on a really high level.

First downside was that TV is embedded inside a mirror. Looks great, but due to this it sounds just horrible. It’s so bad that you can’t really understand anything, so my daughter was a bit disappointed that she was not able to understand Elsa singling “Let it go”. Second thing was that they have double charged for the accommodation, and this is the only reason my mark is 9. Two times that I have booked a Marriott hotel with booking, two times this has happened.

La camera, nonostante avessimo una suite, non era manutenuta bene tipo le porte che non chiudevano bene compreso quella d’ingresso che lasciava trasparire la luce del corridoio di oltre un cm.

Absolutamente todo, es maravilloso

Wir hatten ein technisches Problem in unserem Zimmer, das auch der Haustechniker nicht lösen konnte. Daraufhin hat man uns umgehend ein Upgrade auf eine Suite angeboten. Unbedingt möchte ich bemerken, dass die Damen und Herren am Empfang und in der Rezeption eine besondere Art der Freundlichkeit und Höflichkeit aufweisen. Oft ist es in Häusern dieser Kategorie so, dass diese Höflichkeit "aufgesetzt" oder übertrieben, jedenfalls aber "antrainiert" wirkt, bisweilen ins Servile abgleitend. Das ist im Imperial nicht der Fall und ist uns positiv aufgefallen. Freundlichkeit und Höflichkeit wirken natürlich und angenehm. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und auch Sonderwünsche bei den warmen Gerichten wurden perfekt umgesetzt. Zu meiner großen Freude gab es Laurent-Perrier, meinen Lieblingschampagner. Alles in Allem ist das Imperial ein Haus mit Stil, den man zu schätzen wissen muss. Meine Gratulation an die Direktion!

Es ist nur eine verschwindende Kleinigkeit: früher gab es beim Frühstücksbüffet immer kleine Imperialtörtchen, fast in der Größe einer Praline. Diese habe ich dann doch vermisst. Zwar pures Hüftgold, aber immer ein Gedicht zum Abschluss eines perfekten Frühstücks.

This is a remarkable historic hotel in the center of Vienna. Classic luxury design, significant architecture. The staffing was incredible, especially Ms. Baur. We could not have been more pleased.

The staff were especially amazing! We had a bit of rough day with unexpected layover so we booked the hotel very last minute. We had an upgrade to a gorgeous junior suites and the room was breathtaking. Me and my husband can’t thank enough for the lovely stay. Everything was so smooth from check in to check out and for car pick up to the airport!

Overpriced compared to the option provided in the hotel. They block an amount in ur credit card !

Location as usual

1. Room was not ready again (this is my 4th visit and the same story every time): in March at least i got room upgrade 2. Room service did not take & hide hot plates from table (previously it was) during breakfast or normal orders 3. Before check-out i called to service for luggage support and nobody came in 15min, so i went with all stuff by myself

There is an issue with the light in the room. I didn't find any easy way to switch off light on the wall far from bed, beside switching off whole light at all. But then very hard to get to the restroom when dark. I would be great if I could easy leave light in the restroom and switch off all other light.

OVerall, this was a luxury experience ( and not my first time staying in this exquisite hotel) . The property is absolutely stunning, but I return to stay here because of the very warm welcome from the staff who work there. They are a wonderfully friendly group of people and very very helpful. they always ensure that my trips are fulfilled and help with bookings. There are many beautuful hotels in Vienna, but for me, the Hotel Imperial stands out the best !I cant wait to return.

the weather ! it was a drizzly few days .. sadly nothing coudl be done about that though !
