Direkt beim Bahnhof.

Great location
Great price
Certainly in need of a freshen up and should be best in Glasgow because of location
3.7
Location in George Square, the bed was comfortable.
Bath and shower damaged. Pillows not comfortable. We had agreed on checking-in to upgrade to a superior room, for an extra 15 pounds a night. This was a complete waste of money, nothing superior about the room we were in. Room and bathroom badly need upgrading.
Breakfast a big disappointment, food, quality and service poor.

Area
The heat in the hotel was unbearable and also paid for a room with a view onto George’s square never got one.
3.7
The location & staff Claire at reception was ever so friendly and helpful
3.7
It was a little rough around the edges. Fantastic location, but very dated.
Every floorboard seemed to creak and the decor looked like something from the 70's.
3.7
Nice hotel
Asked for a double room, got twin beds impossibly small
3.7
Fantastic Location, comfortable bed. Good shower.
Room was not as clean as I would have excpected the sofabed matress was very stained. Bathroom needed several things fixed. Bedside light had nowhere to plug in to. Decor was tired. Definitely not worth the price for the room even if it was for 3 of us.

Location/staff/room/facilities perfect…6 of us booked in for family wedding at venue nearby

Perfect location, excellent staff
Glasgow City Council deciding to put their Christmas lights up at 6am!

We were Upgraded to a club room, room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We had a great view from the window looking on to George square
3.7
Proximity to train station and the Glasgow Concert Hall
Nothing
3.7
The area was very accessible to everything. Its clean.
The beds were old, the smell of the hotel is not good as we enter the lobby and rooms..
3.7
Great location. Friendly and helpful staff
Breakfast was poor. Choice of items for cooked breakfast was limited, would only serve mushrooms to vegetarians.
Room decor quite dated and worn in places especially the bathroom.
Room was too hot and bed was too soft.
3.7
Location well situated
Staff friendly and helpful
Breakfasts fresh and plentiful and vegetarian option offered
Very comfortable bed and pillows
Reception had a large trolley there with junk and random objects on it waiting to be moved.
One of the lifts didn’t work and there was nothing to say it was broken til you had committed to getting in it. Very small and claustrophobic.
The decor was extremely dark and dingy brown paint everywhere, seriously dated, dark and dingy room although clean enough.
It needs a revamp and refresh in my opinion.

location
poor bar service, dirty towel in bathroom, no air conditioning making for a very uncomfortable night in the recent heat wave, average breakfast

it’s location
it is very tired and dated. it has been cleaned and painted however I feel the rooms could do with a very deep clean as I felt like I was being bitten whilst sleeping. it’s a shame as it’s a beautiful building and staff very helpful and friend

Very friendly staff
Was old and tired
3.7
Everything we expected and more.
3.7
Location is great and breakfast had good choices
3.7
The staff where great
Single bed and although it has had a paint job. It still has old stained toilet seats and broken tiles, dirty lights etc
3.7
Yes everything was First class
Nothing

Key card didn’t work cause if you have it in your pocket with your phone or wallet, it can “demagnetise” it…
Unsure where else you are meant to keep your keycard then.
Window couldn’t shut all the way down, so was woken up by a choir singing directly outside the window for 2hrs after working the full night before.
3.7
We did not stay here. The hotel had been taken over by the Scottish government for Ukrainian refugees. We were transferred to another hotel.
3.7
The staff were amazing. The location is really nice, it's close to everything. All the main stations are near by.
It was fairly quiet as well.
The interior is a little bit dated and some parts looked a bit tired, and needs a coat of paint.
3.7
The location is very central.
No Aircon, it was very warm all night. The hotel was pretty old, I could hear noises from adjacent rooms.
Cleanliness could be better too.
Am very disappointed, not a good value for money. Definitely there are better hotels for the same price.
3.7
they moved my booking to another hotel which was substandard to what I had booked.
